Yeah looks like all the money is coming out of blue chips and going into MSLP. LOL
Musclepharm could not afford the cover charge. When you can't pay the cover you don't get in the club.
After you are embarrassingly turned away you try to save face by saying, "I didn't want to go in there anyway."
What there is no hope for is longs ever getting their money back on this investment.
Imagine if you would have listened to me instead defending the undefendable in Musclepharm.
Musclepharm had no choice since the UFC dropped them as a sponsor. Nice try.
Bottom line is UFC said "This is how much the sponsorship costs." Musclepharm couldn't afford it simply because they have no money. UFC said, "Take a hike."
Musclepharm has been dumped by the NSF. They have been dumped by the NSCA. This is nothing new and par for the course.
LOL - yeah Musclepharm, with their massive cash position, pulled the financial rug right from under the UFC.
Too funny. Some people just don't get it.
Yes I see that. Just like I said, UFC dumped them. They are no longer the official supplement of the UFC.
I was right again. As usual.
Nope. They have had a self-defeating business model from day one. The changes they claim to be making now are too little too late.
Their sales are in a dramatic decline and their losses are increasing just as dramatic.
Very good analogy. I think you are spot on.
oops!

MSLP hits new all-time low.
MSLP makes a new all-time closing low.
UFC dumped them.
Over the last 4 quarters Musclepharm had revenues of $158 million and losses of $58 million.
It costs them $1.58 for every $1 they generate.
Musclepharm have lost more than $57 million over the past 4 quarters.
In the meantime MSLP makes a new all time low.
Well I think this Drexler guy is obsessed with MMA. I think that was the main attraction to Musclepharm.

LOL seriously?

Elevation Fight Team - 3204 likes
You are cracking me up. Too funny.
What? A large portion of UFC fighters? No, no, no. They have a few fighters that fight once every 6 months at most. And since only Reebok can be displayed in the ring, Musclepharm gets no exposure.
And why Elevation fight team and not Musclepharm fight team? What kind of promotion is that? Again they get no exposure.
They got an enormous amount of exposure through the UFC - now they get none.
The UFC dumped them - simple as that. Not unlike the NSCA dumping them. Or the NSF.

LOL - end of the road. UFC dumped them.
Hard to stomach I know.
No links that I know of. I imagine if you go to their web site you won't find any UFC logos.
Pre-split the stock is now 0.0029 per share.
All time lows - lowest intraday and lowest close of all time.
UFC drops Musclepharm as official supplement sponsor.
Almost in the 1s.
They are restructuring. They lost $30 million last quarter. Revenues are down 30%. Stock price is at an all time low.
Yeah - it's an issue.
The same thing they have done since day one - contract out the manufacturing.
Didn't they say the restructuring involved terminating many existing contracts? You're saying the Capstone deal is still on?
Drexler keeps saying they are a marketing company. Manufacturing is not marketing.
Does anyone know what the status of the Capstone deal is?
Iovate or MuscleTech just settled a amino spiking class action for $2.5 million. MusclePharm is currently being sued in an exact same class action lawsuit.
No. That lasted less than a month.
There was so much BS in that call. Not a single question was answered. Not a single specific detail was given. Nothing but excuses.
Put a fork in it.
That was a disaster of a quarter and a disaster of a CC. Drexler kept saying "supply chain, supply chain, working with our partners, blah, blah". To translate that he's saying, we have no money and can't pay our manufacturers so they won't make us any product.
This company is dead.
Their sales are tanking. They are in a hole too deep to get out of. These cuts are two years (if not more) too late.
It doesn't matter what Drexler is doing it's too late. And no one is saying this is the greatest stock to trade. I'm saying if you must touch this stock then trade it. Anything long term and you will lose your money.
Averaging down on your position will only increase the amount you'll lose.
You can believe in the future all you want and you'll still be kissing your money goodbye.
At some point you need to ask yourself - how many times do you need to be wrong before you give in to reality?
Like I've always said, trade this stock. If you have bought for long-term - kiss your money goodbye.
Too little too late. They missed their opportunity. They are not in a position to do anything now. The more they cut the fat the more their sales fall.
They created a business model that required them to spend $120 to generate $100 in revenue. They are stuck with that and don't have the resources to right the ship.
They are in a very, very bad situation. I would say they are in a 90% chance of bankruptcy. In fact, that's the only thing that would save this company. But what will remain would be a shell of its old self not to mention zero for existing shareholders.
