"Show me where I said TMMI should settle!!!"
Okay Jay, what does this look like to you then?
"DIM is entitled to $54K, so
give them the equivalent in shares, and
let's move on...."
Just to be clear Jay , you seem to think this is JUST about the 54K and to pay Dimented that amount will make them go away. You have glibly dismissed what is in the lawsuit because if you had actually read it, you would have realized Dimented's true intent and not started this ridiculous notion of settling with Dimented.
Is TMMI's response readable? I don't see it on the court site unless I'm not seeing the appropriate link.
Maybe a mis-used term intentionally? I'm going by the court site entry and from what I've read up on this type of motion, the court response time tends to be within 7 days of the filed anti-slap motion. Just guessing on my part.
My guess is that TMMI responded with the Anti-Slapp in order to have a quick resolution to what is an obvious abuse of process and from what I gather from the court site, it looks like we're heading for a quick ruling on the motion for dismissal Tuesday next week.
Enough already. I should know better than to engage in a conversation that ultimately will go into a circuitous nowhere.
SMH
"Trust me,
if I had anything to do with this company"
I thank God you don't.
"Exactly, cut a check for $54K
and let's move on...."
How about this Jay, if you feel so strongly about moving on, why don't you just cut the check for 54K as a loan to TMMI with the stipulation it becomes a priority payment to Dimented.
How does that sound?
"Actually it's $92.59
I was dividing 54K into 5Mshares and
rounding near, however $100 is easier...."
You really have no clue what you're talking about, do you? Any settlement in shares is based on current market prices ergo 5 plus million shares for 54K.
"What price are you setting
TMMI
share price at,
based on 5Mshares,
today's share price????
That would open a whole different can of worms,
with more long court battles over more monies owed....
NO!!!!
TMMI needs to cut ties with DIM!!!!"
There are NO TIES to cut with Dimented. What is it that you don't understand? This has everything to do with Dimented's continuing attempt at extorting TMMI and TMMI has responded with an Anti-Slapp defense.
"DIM is entitled to $54K, so
give them the equivalent in shares, and
let's move on....
This is getting ridiculous...."
What is ridiculous is Dimented being entitled to anything at all let alone the 5 million plus shares that you are cavalierly suggesting. What's more is that you are quick to criticize current management who have if anything, prevented TMMI from continuing on the disastrous path it was on with the previous management you continuously lauded ad nauseum on this board.
I repeat - Dimented deserves nothing.
You're in over your head and it's becoming more and more obvious reading your posts. Try and keep up!

"So Tmmi is going after Dimension. Looks like their ploy to shake down Tmmi has failed miserably."
So let me see if I have this right. The short positions were forced to cover so as to create a "reset" and allow for more time to deal with this new form of dividend? If this is the true, it may be a subtle forewarning by SEC to the shorting cabal that the next time around - "You're on your own."
If I'm correct in my interpretation this is an interesting turn of events to say the least.
Once again, the naked shorting manipulation is out in full view. It defies logic that this sustained selling campaign represents a true and fair market. We are well on our way to seeing a third of the capitalization of OSTK trade in just one trading session.
If this isn't criminal, I don't know what is.
" I suspect they're tired of Dimension "slapping " them around all these years! Ahahahahahah!"
I find it appalling that you somehow find it humorous that so many shareholders have been robbed by the malicious acts taken against TMMI by the instigators you so aptly represent.
You wear it well.
It's amazing to see that TMMI has been able to salvage something from its historical legacy fractal technology considering the dark shadow of uncertainty that the Dimented Ones have cast over this company for the past twenty odd years.
The lost business opportunities is incalculable.
I'm still holding and try not to let the day to day trading machinations influence my overall stance with regards to the long term view. As the digital ledger technologies mature the revenue projections that Patrick Byrnes has eluded to are, in my opinion, very achievable.
Overstock is on the right track.
I'm not surprised and this is not meant as a slight at you. I have come to find most market participants have no clue as to the digital revolution that is only just beginning. Most everyone in this industry has underestimated Patrick Byrnes intellect and vision as to how this will affect our traditional markets. It's my hunch that when he announced the token dividend, he had already made the decision to resign from Overstock's board of directors and this was his parting gift to the market abusers.
Brilliant.
Here's a link to a very simple explanation of how blockchain works and it's implications. There are some very clear points made with regards to ownership.

A simple explanation of how blockchain works

Blockchain is the technology the underpins digital currency (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and the like). The tech allows digital information to be distributed, but not copied. That means each individual piece of data can only have one owner. You may hear it described as a “digital ledger” stored in a distributed network.
Blockgeeks has a good analogy to help understand how Blockchain works:
“Picture a spreadsheet that is duplicated thousands of times across a network of computers. Then imagine that this network is designed to regularly update this spreadsheet and you have a basic understanding of the blockchain.” The information is constantly reconciled into the database, which is stored in multiple locations and updated instantly. That means the records are public and verifiable. Since there’s no central location, it harder to hack since the info exists simultaneously in millions of places.
Blockchain technology was invented in 2008, but only came into the public conversation when Bitcoin launched. Why Is It Called Blockchain?
A block is record of a new transactions. When a block is completed, it’s added to the chain. Bitcoin owners have the private password (a complex key) to an address on the chain, which is where their ownership is recorded. Crypto-currency proponents like the distributed storage without a middle man — you don’t need a bank to verify the transfer of money or take a cut of the transaction.
William Mougayar, author of The Business Blockchain, described it this way: Imagine two entities (eg banks) that need to update their own user account balances when there is a request to transfer money from one customer to another. They need to spend a tremendous (and costly) amount of time and effort for coordination, synchronization, messaging and checking to ensure that each transaction happens exactly as it should. Typically, the money being transferred is held by the originator until it can be confirmed that it was received by the recipient. With the blockchain, a single ledger of transaction entries that both parties have access to can simplify the coordination and validation efforts because there is always a single version of records, not two disparate databases.
Blockchain is going to be used for more than just currency and transactions. To give you an idea of how seriously it’s been studied and adopted, IBM has 1,000 employees working on blockchain-powered projects. They’ve also set aside $200 million for development. Financial and tech firms invested an estimate $1.4 billion dollars in blockchain in 2016 with an increase to $2.1 billion dollars in 2018.
Interesting. Over half the company's capitalization has traded in just one day's trading session! This to me wreaks of naked short manipulation and is the tried and true method of unlimited selling into the buying.
There is one thing I do know - a securitized token can not be counterfeited ie: Overstock's dividend. My guess is that the institutions behind this nefarious activity are about to find this out the hard way.
Question for you, do you understand how blockchain transactions occur?
Yep, that too. lol
It's beyond envy kgwxman, it's a psychotic obsession. If it wasn't for this TMMI thread here on IHub, they'd be irrelevant. Hard to believe Dimented's sole existence is to attach itself to another company's stock chat site.
Brilliant.
"I posted to all TMM shareholders on IVHub in March 2013 that TMM was making a huge mistake with their lawsuit. I was ganged up on then and how did that come out. We’re you happy with that outcome?"
Please stop with the b.s. You have countless other posts deriding TMM and it's management for all kinds of nonsense going on for years now. As a matter of fact, it was you who first started posting TMM didn't own it's fractal technology back in 2000. As for the lawsuit I'm not happy at all, our previous CEO stupidly dropped the suit and let Dimension of the hook and should have never let that happen. From what I see, TMM may have another shot at it, only this time TMM had better end it once and for all.
Let's just see how you "trade" your way out of that Dimented mess you hold in such high esteem you savvy trader you.
Looks like I have reason to continue to question the real motivation of your continued presence here.
Yup, you're a real genuine standup guy. lol

"It's none of your business what I own, or don't own."
It may not be my business but I certainly think it should be TMMI's business to know if you are a shareholder of Dimension Inc, especially when you park yourself here on this thread day in and day out disparaging TMMI and its management.
"Did I make up the judges ruling on the '96 issue?"
Which "ruling" is this that you are referring to? I'm not aware of any such ruling.
"Did I make up the issue that TMMI was touting DFMI's new codec in the early 2000s?"
Who knows what DFMI was representative of back then? As far as I'm concerned there was a lot of deception going on between DFI and DFMI and TMMI had no way of knowing what the real deal was at that time.
"Did I not tell you guys over 10 months ago that TMMI had a problem with VDK2.0 and the buy from Simpson was BS?"
From what I can see there has been no ruling on this issue as well. Who are you to dictate what is B.S. or not?
I am going to make another prediction. I predict that it will come out that you have been a shareholder of Dimension Inc this whole time that you have been carrying out this malicious campaign against TMMI.
It's not angst you see, it's the revulsion of your persistent snide and mostly misleading remarks. I see what's happening with TMM and I'm prepared to see it through to the end. You and your cohorts continue to underestimate the support TMM has.
You can spare me your feigned well wishes as I find it so typical of your doublespeak.
"Yes Jay. I did recoup my $2.75 share in 2000."
Ahh yes, your famous buy as a "neophyte" trader watching the stock all the way from .03 cents in December of 1999 only to wait until the stock gaps over a dollar from the previous day's close mid-January and make your first purchase at two dollars and eighty-seven cents.
I can see why you're a Dimented Inc shareholder.
"In fact I've made a decent return over the 19 years I was in and out of this stock."
Boy I can sure understand how this stock can make a guy angry, especially when showing a profit with such trading savvy.
"I'm very happy with the successes I've had."
You sure could have fooled me.
"There was so much potential for this stock. Vancouver always saw it as ???????????????"
Vancouver saw it as a what??????????
What you fail to realize is that I see through your self serving rewrite of history as I was around long before you began your posting presence of misinformation.
Mindboggling to say the least.
It seems to me the grift is not going so well at Dimented. Their lone existence has found its way here.
Why am I not surprised.
Patrick Byrne has just given the naked shorters a death blow and they don't even see it coming.
Brilliant.
This is just the beginning.
Yes, you are finally right about something, I am here. Unlike you, I don't waste my time talking endlessly about a stock I have no faith in and no, I won't lose all my money.
Still here huh?
"Only a selected few are in LPs circle, not one share ponies!!!!
Shorting shares
has always been LP duties,
with other flunkies, window washers and bad accountant's....
It's in the history of TMMI going back to the last century.... "
This is just plain drivel.
I won't bother with the rest of your post.
"Yes, the one and only reason I was here for 20 years was to undermine TMM."
No doubt about it.
"In the mean time I'm thinking about shorting TMM shares. I'm not fully clothed so I guess I'm naked shorting??? Who in the world would want to take the time and resources to short a $.02/share stock? CRAZY WORLD!"
It's abundantly clear that you have no clue on how the naked short position came into being and it's obvious that you have never looked at the links I provided that give an understanding of what I have identified as a toxic presence in TMMI's share structure. Your ignorance of this nefarious activity in our markets is obvious.
Looks like the laughs on you.
Still here huh? Gee I wonder why, could it have anything to do with your complicity in this ongoing malicious interference in TMMI’s affairs?
Sure looks like it to me.
"Basically she had no idea what I was talking about, so it was kind of awkward. I should note that in the formal presentation she was very dismissive of Bitcoin"
This point serves to illustrate that most industry players have no idea on just how disruptive blockchain type technologies really are and the rogue element of our markets (read thugs) are about to learn the hard way what impact these technologies will have on our everyday lives.
Kudos to Patrick Byrne in finding the ultimate solution to ridding our markets of the scourge that has cost us all so much and in so many ways. What we are about to witness is the ultimate short squeeze that so many of us a been yearning for, for so long.
Awesome.
Just as I thought. The Dimented Ones are still at it with their failed business plan. Having finally read the psychotic complaint which in my opinion is filled with all kinds of outlandish claims and can only conclude that this latest move will lead to a miserable final outcome for the Dimented Ones.
Amongst the numerous claims, this one caught my attention:
81. Furthermore, TMMI, at the direction of Cavanaugh, Ford, and Kozole, sued
Broadclip Inc., in an action titled TMM, Inc. v. Broadclip, Inc., A-12-668150-C in the Eighth
Judicial District Court of Nevada.
How is Broadclip Inc involved with Dimension Inc. in this sordid affair and what role have they played in the ongoing damages TMMI has suffered due to the clearly malicious activities perpetuated against TMMI that started nearly a quarter of a century ago?
Mindboggling!
FWIW - Here's my 2 cents worth on these latest developments, bear in mind like everyone else here, I'm not able to read the complaint either...
What we are witnessing is the continuation of Dimented Inc's failed business plan of attempting to extort TMM just as there are signs of TMM positioning to release a product. My guess is they will try and claim TMM is using some version of VDK 2 and TMM is somehow infringing on code that belongs to them. It is so typical of them to lurk in the weeds laying in wait while TMM spends real money on development only to pounce as soon as there is a whiff of a potential launch of a product.
Mindboggling.
Nobodies running and nobodies hiding. It's another public display of twisted obsession by the Dimented Ones. Clearly confirms they have nothing going on.
No one cares.
You need to learn how to read a chart. Quit with your misinformation.
Your continued lack of understanding of how the 5G network works is astounding as well as tiring. The 5G network represents the last several hundred feet of the current internet backbone that the content ultimately has to travel through and is inherently limited to the backbone bandwidth. All your mental mathematical gymnastics does not change this very basic fact (not to mention all the health risks associated with the adoption of the 5G networks).
As for your congratulatory sentiments of "honesty" towards yourself and your Dimension shareholder friend can only be described as at best, laughable.
You'd think.
Lot's of good humor. LOL
So let me get this straight. Are you suggesting in order for 5G networks to be relevant they need TMMI's technology?
