hahaha :) nah.. I'm a 'realist' :) you can see it from the RSI anyway. IF that doesn't happen then there's nothing stopping it from moving forward.
I don't anticipate to happen overnight. He'll probably have to go through due diligence before he signs something. Although, SE asia is a lot easier to deal with sometimes.
None so far, I've been watching as well at hotstocked.com and pumpsanddumps.com. VPER is not to be seen these past few days so its solely because of the recent PR with the Ministry of Fisheries.
10000000000000000000000% agree
I had a review again on the recent PR's seems like VPER is really positioning itself to LED's market.
-- LEDS america ; manufacturing
-- Apollo metro ; R & D
Although I'm not sure what Aequitas Energy would do for VPER???
I really hope that VPER would STICK TO ONE plan. I've just recently been to UBRG that does acquisition left and right which they seem to be shooting like a cowboy!!!
I would like to see VPER to focus on one thing till they get it perfected. So far so good, I'm slowly getting more optimistic judging from the past PR's from the milestone they've made in Sri Lanka.
I'm hoping that IF and ONLY IF it fails, they will NOT keep silent like MOST PINKIES do.
JMO
no harm intended :)
my .0011's order got filled yesterday its going to be very tough now..
I feel your pain and disagreement with a company you've believed so much and failed to deliver. I just recently had the same experience from another company that over promised under deliver .
At the moment, I'm skeptical still either with VPER. I won't start the fireworks till I see 'definitive agreements' or 'materialized' and until they stop acting like what most pinkies do.
1. The issue too much promisory notes at a massive discount
2. #1 causes massive dilution (check financials)
3. Acquisition with what money? Obviously, shares again.
4. Revenues revenues proportional to costs costs... quite disappointing for the past 2 years
5. They seem to have no direction to where they're going. One moment natural gas, next moment oil, next moment coal? Whats next? Wind? Thermal?
6. Debt versus Asset is inversely proportional and there's no sign of stopping.
7. Oh what happened to the chill again? I'm sorry? where are we again?
8. Where's that 'promise' in lieu to the 'Letter to Investor' that they will be on time with Financials?
10. Where are we to NASDAQ?
11. Where's our concern about these fancy PR since last year? Seems like no stopping either.
PS. Go look for my past complaints, same thing and no change and yes, I am one who sold and lost a lot of money. I'm glad I got out somehow. My macbook would be worth more with these prices and I don't believe these prices are bargain when the financials are so clear with UBRG's current state.
Don't deny, read the financials.
JMO
We can't really blame new or existing investors. They didn't have a good and proven track and record. However, this LED frontier seems more promising and it will materialized.
I like they've done the PR, it comes with numbers! not some 'forward looking' and imaginary calculation that I've seen with other Pinks.
I hope they will not do what most Pinkies would do. I hope they do the right thing once they've fully accepted the direction to LED.
I expect to see, IF and ONLY IF. The LED is successful for VPER is to provide much more SEC forms, move to higher tier OTCQB or OTCQX, more transparent.
on time financials then I will see the growth and the keeness of growth of VPER.
JMO.
I'll agree with your argument if you can show me an identical product as apollo metro then I'll agree. Not only it reduces opex on consumption greatly reduces the necessity of on-site maintenance when you can all see it in a grid.
Not to mention the rise of necessity in CCTV cameras in municipalities in Asia, this is seen as well in China, Philippines and most of South East Asia include the 'Big Brother' in UK.
The potential is large and I hope they apply patent for their design.
Have a look in google 'CCTV municipality'. You'll see the rise of installation all around the world.
You hit 4 birds in one stone on Apollo Metro's product (if it does exists????)
1. Low maintenance and onsite costs (if using Grid solution)
2. Increase municipality security (if using CCTV)
3. LED energy consumption is extremely low, thus lower electricity bill
4. Eco friendly.
Downside: Initial installation is expensive, for sure but if for the case of Sri Lanka that's already ready have a 'revolving' costs on energy consumption a year, it means the budget is there if you cut down the consumption by 60%-80%. The ROI is seen immediately the year after operating in terms of electriciy consumption alone.
I anticipate a Friday arvo manic news.
I was expecting that astute traders will be doing profit taking at .0014 for those who bought at .0007. I can see .0011 is the next support then wait for the a couple of days.
I did again.. hehehe
Finally, someone took my bite.... ready to run!
I'd say, I'd go
1. audited financials.
2. Definitive Agreements.
then my valuation comes out.
LMAO... who's pumping...??? LOL.. its just myself, greg and br0ke-noob who's active in this board for months... LOL.
So I've noticed but that's fine at these level this is still definitely ludacris cheap.
damn it... nobody sold me some more!
IF and only IF the Sri Lanka materialized and duly notary signed.

its in the letters from SEC
Its not two years ago:

Potential and why Sri Lanka? ;)

So to answer the question how long would be the pilot program, 2-3 months you'd see if the solution did made a significant impact. I'm hoping they're going to use Grid solution to immediately show the consumption figures as oppose to 'conventional meter reading'.
But nonetheless, LED, is almost, a no brainer. ( I'm not technically savvy with LED so I better be at the safer side ;) )
I might buy in again with UBRG actually, I've sold but still watching.
Most likely the real reason why it got chilled
I would like to hear a statement from VPER that they are fully pursuing LED manufacturing. Lets be honest, the portfolio they've got is vague.
If we have PR's like what we had yesterday then the breakout board is not necessary. In fact, its not necessary at all. If VPER does show some 'real action' not just a cryptic PR then appreciation on VPER will go up.
Here you go:
http://sundaytimes.lk/120226/BusinessTimes/bt31.html
For 500,000 street lights, its costing them 79M$ USD/per annum (10.3B$ LKR)
So you reckon they don't need to go Sri Lanka when the demand is there. If you save them 70% per annum? Now figure the 'possible' math "IF AND ONLY IF" the pilot program was a success.
VPER should target 'Malls' in asia especially for the Parking Lots... simple.
PR's need to be materialized... so far so good.. Apollo Metro product line is a start but still not enough catalyst.
I'm holding
Universal's President Vince M. Guest states, "We are very excited about the potential revenues and earnings from the sale of coal for export to these countries. Universal is making plans to expand into the international market to export coal to several countries over the next 24 months. We also have plans for major sales of refined energy products through NDR Energy Group, and more acquisitions of oil and gas wells and crude oil through Texas Gulf Oil & Gas to increase our revenues. We believe this will have a positive effect on our shareholders and the value of our stock."
Be mindful of these words also ask yourself: 'more acquisitions' with what money?
I am still waiting for UBRG to start doing whats right... 'Definitive Agreements' not what most penny's do PR's PR's PR's! Until then, I remain indifferent with UBRG. Its OK there's no update for quite a long time UNLESS updates are all 'Definitive!'.
Then that's when I 'feel comfortable' UBRG
I completely agree with this one. At the moment, everything is 'still' forward looking, until I 'personally' see an 8K's then I'd attest that we've got a 'go'. On the other hand, Apollo's product like is extremely impressive even a person with no technical know-how would agree that their 'product line' (assuming did went into production) will be extremely useful.
I despise to admit this but most of heavily populated countries are moving towards to CCTV on all or most municipalities, for e.g. UK big brother and have seen it as well in South East Asia however, the solution they've used is still the 'conventional ccty' along side with the 'traditional power pole'.
The 'grid' management is an awesome advantage which reminds me of Huawei M2000 and T2000 that manages cell sites using GUI or Infoblox Grid Manager, that's coming from my experience with IT&T.
There's so skepticism that surrounds UBRG. I was once a strong believer, very strong and if you look at the PR, they've then again increased the OS.
I was in when it was 250M OS now its 100% which reflects the current value. At the time when it was low OS that market value was .04 now its .004 which is directly proportional to the dilution.
Read the financials, its there.
The ultimate trend is going down though?
If you look at the MA(20), MA(50), MA(200) its predominantly drifting lower and lower.
Also you'll see the spiky volumes it hasn't sustained a descent volume for almost a year.
no update still! its been 1/2 a year already
I let go already quite sometime at a significant loss to be honest but I'm watching UBRG from time to time to see if there's still development.
Oh that... I've read that this arvo. Nonetheless, I still don't see anything 'definitive' most of them are still 'speculative'.
Would be nice to see them stop bloody using PR's and start using 8K's.
Interesting the 'NY' meeting wasn't covered too.
ProGas too
I'm quite disappointed they've somehow addressed the bashers and pumpers in these forums. Professionally, you would just flag it off and prove them they're wrong later.
