Elite Announces Amendment to Agreement with IntelliPharmaCeutics

Elite to Receive Payments from Canadian Sales

Northvale, New Jersey, Tuesday, December 20, 2005: Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Elite” or the “Company”) (AMEX: ELI) announced today that it had entered into an amendment with its partner, IntelliPharmaCeutics Corp., under the Product Development and Commercialization Agreement, dated as of June 21, 2005. In accordance with the amendment, IntelliPharmaCeutics and ratiopharm, inc., a Canadian company with marketing and distribution capabilities in Canada, will develop and commercialize the product for Canada. Elite and IntelliPharmaCeutics will share their proceeds of commercialization in Canada on the same terms as in the June 21, 2005 Agreement.

Additionally, the obligations of Elite and IntelliPharmaCeutics with respect to the development, manufacturing and commercialization of the generic controlled release drug product in the United States and Mexico will continue.

“We are very pleased that IntelliPharmaCeutics and ratiopharm will develop this product for the Canadian market. We continue to progress with the development of a generic controlled release drug product in partnership with IntelliPharmaCeutics for the United States and Mexico,“ stated Bernard Berk, chairman and chief executive officer of Elite.

It shouldn't be too difficult to market the product.

You still have to pay though.

I'm not listing the stock name, but their drug Provenge at the time of release was the next big cancer treatment. Though they over charged for the drug, there was still a lot of marketing and sales costs to it.

I really see a partnership at the beginning as the most beneficial to shareholders.

The only thing that concerns me about going at it alone at the beginning is the HUGE amount of cash that Elite will have to throw out to gather a successful sales force along with advertisement costs.

I've seen other companies share/partner their first few products to essentially obtain "free revenue". Once they achieve profitability and garner a large enough cash pile, then they can begin to go at it alone.

If Elite goes at it alone at the beginning, I expect a capital raise.

I think it's in the best interest for the shareholders if Elite partners at the beginning.

Elite has consolidated the last 2 trading days, but the fundamentals have not changed.

If/when Elite gets most of their ART/ADT drugs approved, they can potentially garner billions in revenue. I see us partnering for the first few drugs just to get us off on our feet, and then we will begin to go at things alone.

Last two days have been full of people cashing in their profits and also LOTS of manipulation by the MM's.

This stock is purely a long term growth stock. Days like today will happen. Not trying to sugar cult this crap.

I bought into Smith & Wesson Monday with my long time friend who is crazy about guns. We both put $500. First time buying out of the Bio sector. They had good earnings on Tuesday. Probably going to sell tomorrow. No knowledge in this area of the market. I'll treat myself to a new dress shirt and dinner with the profits lol.

Oh dude me too! I only turned 20 a few months ago, so my liquidity of my money is lower than most. Elite has been the only stock that I have not sold a single share of, but I've had fun with GALE, IPCI, HZNP, ARNA, and MWIP haha.

My friends from middle school actually bought DSCO a few years back. They went through the CRLs and sold.

DSCO seems like a good long term hold.

Possibly jumping into DSCO along with obtaining a bigger position in IPCI.
