Fabulous. Now we need someone to volunteer to be the "go to person". GreenLite, we could use some input from you as the person who collected the initial list. Perhaps those interested in being the gatekeeper can private message you and you can contact the individuals on the list with the information (if we get a volunteer)
LOL I'm not intimidated!
Another option and sounds more secure. Do we all pay $10 per month for this service? Shows how little I know about the social network media.
There is continued interest in the shareholde proxy. Private messages are an option but it is too segmented. I did some checking since my post this morning. There needs to be a means of communication so "Peter knows what Paul is doing".
We can set up a private website that one can enter only by a secure password. Since I do not know how to do this I contacted a webmaster and he assured me it can be done but would cost around $1500. The other option is a closed group on facebook where members must be invited to join. Again, I am not a computer expert so I don't know how to set this up. At present, we need a central contact with private messages that would be willing to be the "go to person" until we have a better means of communication. Like Wess indicated in his/her excellent post regarding the status of the company, hopefully, we won't need to follow through with the proxy; but we should be prepared if needed. I volunteer my services to keep a confidential record of the proxy group; but unfortunately I don't have the computer skills or knowledge of shareholders rights and responsibilities to be the "go to person."
(IMO) The lack of support isn't about the company but the manipulation of the stock and manipulation of management of the company. JBI by itself is successful in it's technology for changing the environmental and energy concerns of our world.
There appears to be a great deal of interest in setting up a proxy vote. We can't let the enthuism die for lack of follow up. What can we do to be able to communicate in a safe setting. XendaLives offered a suggestion earlier. I am a retired mental health professional and did not grow up in the world of the computer so I don't have the knowledge to set up a password required website. However, I am willing to compile a worksheet of proxy voters and any information needed. I have private message capabilities on this board and use it. How can we communicate?
From a couple of posts it sounds like "some of the big money" are coming in at the end of R&D and dictating the shots. So, those of us that have invested what our limited income allows and have been supporting this company since the P2O/P2Fuel emphasis; we're not to see any financial benefits due to the greed of a few. I hope most of the whales are more concerned about the success of JBI and not trying to sabotage the share structure for their own personal greed.
I know we vote our shares; so how can we organize to to pool our shares to at least get a voice in management and the BOD.
This is the exact thought I had as soon as I read Wess's post.
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL JBI FOLLOWERS.
June has been quite an impressive month for JBI. Hope the sp will follow suite.
Anyone who has been an investor in JBII have see many soars and declines in the sp. (IMO) Only when JBI is able to show continued success will the sp constantly rise. The company is constantly overcoming every roadblock stuck in it's path to success. Will these devious attempt continue? Yes. Will JBI continue to be successful in spite of the delays set up by the attempts to slow or halt the company? Yes. The Question I believe is needed to resolve the long term sp continuous rise is: "When are the skeptics going to stop being taken in by these attempts to halt the company?"
Currently the compay needs a CEO and a qualified BOD. (IMO) These two changes will greatly impact the sp. Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long before this goal is met. As far as the AGM is concerned, I doubt I will attend this year if we don't have the BOD and a New CEO in place. Or, at least names of qualified individuals agreeable to serve and presented for stockholders consideration.
IMPRESSIVE!
Once your information includes specifics as Raw's information presented earlier instead of vague generalities, this post might be a little more believable.
This Long has always believed we will win in the end. Have seen many many attempts to destroy JBI and watched the company survive. I have no doubt the attempts to destroy will continue. I separate the company from the stock: (IMO) within time the stock will grow to reflect the success of the company.
I have never questioned the company (JBI) and it’s success. I believe in the technology and see the value it provides the world in environmental and alternative energy issues. What I find appalling is the greed and lack of ethics of JBII stock manipulators. I don’t know of any professional organization that doesn’t have a Code of Ethics, so I can only assume stock traders are not professional but greedy individuals with only one goal in mind – immediate gratification with no concern for the value/benefits the company provides.
DITTO! I have seen this company through many hurdles. Not willing to give up now.
Am I reading you correctly? It seems you are saying it doesn't matter the success of the company. The fate of JBI is controlled by "Whale Investors" who now control by setting the rules and plan to bankrupt and take over out of greed. If this is the case I agree this is a scam; not the company but the stock and the way it is marketed/manipulated.
Well put! Been buying the past 3 years, sold none.
Likewise.
This long believes JBI is the Little Company that Refuses to be taken down no matter how many hurdles it has overcome or will overcome. GO JBI!!!
That was the first thought that went throuh my mind. The conclusion I gave myself "I would like to have leaked information from the company vs. smear tactics." By the way I do not believe for one moment there are paid "awareness consltants" on this board.
Nice to see JBI mentioned in the article.
I guess that explains why there was no feedback after the meeting.
One more thing to add to your list is that at the 1st AGM JB refrained from voting his shares on the issue before the stockholders. (I believe it was the member at large for the BOD; that was 4 yrs ago and every so often I get a brain fart and can't remember exact details.)
You are describing the current management, not when JB was at the CEO position.
I am glad for JB's change of position, it allowed him to concentrate and improve the technology.
The statement you are making about JB giving himself Big Bonuses and a Hugh salary doesn't make sense when he wasn't accepting a salary while trying to get the company established.
Get Serious, there wouldn't be JBI if it wasn't for JB!!!
Is it possible to allow John to appoint an "Acting Shareholders Committee" for which the two man - current management team is accountable. This shareholders committed would hold such power until a Qualified BOD is seated. During the three previous AGM's I met numerous individual that believe in this company and what it can accomplish.
Agree!!! Let's slow down a moment and start from the beginning.
1. What are the QUALIFICATIONS OF "A HIGH QUALITY INDEPENDENT BOD". It is my understanding an Independent BOD cannot be invested in the company. IF THAT IS THE CASE HOW DO THE TWO (CURRENT BOD MEMBERS) MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS.
2. Is it possible to seat an ACTING BOD either as the action of the SEC or Court Action (as a result of their approval of the filing). There appear to be a number of individuals in the NF's area that could accept the challenge. However, the meaning of Independent BOD needs clarification.
3. The WHALES were instrumental in the removal of John as CEO and moving him into the role more suitable for his talents. Perhaps they can come together again to assist with the current management situation.
4. The company has used CC's in the past. Is this a method to include all stock holders that wish to participate if a proxy fight is needed. Is it possible to have this setup by IR. Seems like Christine handled the mechanics.
These are just some of my thoughts and would like to see what options are available. I have posted several times the current management is unacceptable due to their lack of accountabilty.
My calendar indicates May, 2012 (according to your time the letter John signed with 6 potential investors) is months before
Good to know! Happy Memorial Day to all posters.
Interesting list of OPINIONS. The post would be more believable if you were able to provide FACTS!!!
Have a good and safe Memorial Day weekend.
I too am a very disappointed long. I feel the "HERE AND NOW" issues needing to be addressd immediately; thus, allowing continued JBI success are:
1. Seating a BOD immediately
2. Making the two members of the current executive team accountable for their decision by having to report to a higher level of structure.
3. Getting #3 on line ASAP and providing weekly updates in the meantime.
4. Getting the RocTenn site going.
5. Taking legal action regarding the damage "Ensley and her friends/associates" have caused the company. GAG Order at the very least.
What class action are you referring?
How Funny!
