Thanks. I thought they had to cover within a certain time period. Well hopefully they will get squeezed and be forced to cover. Then we will really watch this take off
How long do they have before they have to cover there short? Is it different for pink sheets
With next friday being the 17th it's only a matter of days before we here. I don't expect the price to jump to $2 a share but i do expect it to be a lot higher then it is now
Why do you say that when they said on or before the 15th?
U.S. is considering an ethanol reserve.... Any thoughts
At worst we hear by the end of next week. I am anticipating a really big deal, but i don't want to get my hopes up to high
You would hope if the deal is done they would let the public and there shareholders know when it happens. I do think they expect the deal to be done but they are working out all the details before releasing anything.
Anyone agree?
In my opinion we should see another PR by the end of the week. With todays PR they are setting it up for the big one. Now we play the wait and see game
Either way, the people who are selling it today aren't going to be happy in a week or two
I think the slower the company grows the bigger it will get in the long run. don't get me wrong I would take $2-2.50 a share right now but in the long run it might be more beneficial to the company for .50 share wioth licensing and revenue over time
about 500000 U?
What i hope is the stock pulls back a little more because i would like to add to my position a little cheaper, even though i added today. Then have the company release a PR toward the end of the week and watch the stock take off
I think the obvious answer would be a substantial increase in the PPS. But i do not think you will see the stock open anyway near that price. I would probably sell half my position and hold the rest. I think there is great potential for this company but would definately take some profit
I don't think it's going to happen today, everyone is waiting on the release of the details with the asian group
I am suprised there is not a better reaction to the recent news. From reading the news it seems like the stock should be trading higher
news out
MONTREAL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/05/07 -- Alcar Chemical Group Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ACMG) announces today that it is working with Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd. towards a licensing agreement of its technology for the production of ethanol.
According to the company, ACMG and BHL have begun work to optimise the process for ethanol production from by-products of the sugar manufacturing process to progress towards a multi-year and multi-site licensing agreement. The company expects to close this licensing agreement, estimated to increase ACMG annual revenues by $30 million US, on or before June 15, 2007.
With an annual production rate of 1.8M metric tons of sugar, Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd. is one of the most prominent sugar manufacturers in the world, a company with a strong environmental consciousness that is already valorizing its molasses using conventional technologies to produce 180K metric tons of ethanol per annum. BHL has ambitious plans to become the world leader in sugar, ethanol and bio-chemicals manufacturing using eco-friendly technologies. The company stated that an economically viable solution will be achieved within 4 to 6 months.
"This is an exciting and welcome development," stated Dr. Cavasin. "To be able to work with such an environmentally conscious company towards a licensing agreement of our technology is everything I could have hoped for as this truly demonstrates that economically viable ecological solutions are quickly becoming a reality even among the biggest corporations. The great potential deal for ACMG is a great step towards a clean planet for our children," further added Dr Cavasin.
It should also be noted that ACMG has received a competing bid from a South East Asia Consortium for the acquisition of the majority controlling interest of ACMG, the competing bid was set at a premium from the USSE offer, which represented approximately $2.00 per share. The company expects to disclose the name of the consortium and the offer once all terms and conditions have been established and a letter of intent signed. The letter of intent is expected to be executed on or before February 15, 2007.

If it goes back down to that level I will increase my position, but right now i am holding and waiting
Valid point but with friday's being a slow day I am suprised the by the reaction of the stock today. Thought we would get a rally today
I hope you are right. Especially with the sell-off today they might not want to wait any longer
Why do you think that the update will come this week?
If we get the update watchout.. breakout above .15 then there is no stopping it
when the stock is trading at .20 in a few weeeks you might not be to happy you didn't get any down here
Time to buy some cheap shares....
I just added a little more to the position. It's good to see the stock go down on low volume, that usually means its not a real sell-off but rather lack of interest
Good point. I think it will be beneficial to the company once that is released. Hopefully within the next week or two we will hear more.
that would be nice but I am in for the long term. Been in for a year and would like to see the company grow. If they gibe the details of the deal there would be a lot more interest in the stock
We could use another PR discussing the details of the other offer from the Asian group
I just added to my position. I am almost half the volume.
I was thinking more of the short term, within the next month or so. It seems as if the deal goes through it will be beneficial to the shareholders. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. Good Luck to all and have a great weekend
Do you honestly think the stock price could jump to mayber $1. Or is that to far fetched
Hello everyone. New to the board, been in the stock for almost a year. Why is it that with another positive PR the stock hasn't moved that much and the volume is rather light compared to yesterday
