I took that info from post 2698:
(5) I specifically asked if the current O/S and Float had changed in view of the Oct 13 increase in A/S from 1.8B to 5B shares. His response was that "the Outstanding and Float have not changed one bit." The increase in A/S has to do with SEC requirement to provide for a fallback alternative to a forthcoming "buyback" share restructuring. There is no stock split, forward or reverse, in conjunction with the buyback. The buyback will be very favorable to long term investors.
I tried to do a little DD on buyback scenarios but it seems there are a number of ways to do it and can get a little complex. The buyback could be based on a scheme whereby the investor agrees to "sell" shares to the company either "at cost" or a "reasonable value" in return for a guaranteed future rebate. Or perhaps the investor will be allowed to retain ownership of the stock on a restricted basis for a guranteed future buyout?
There has been no formal announcement of a completed audit, acqusitions, AS increase....it's really amazing that we are close to a penny.
Supposedly, he is going to use them in the buyback scheme.
But never on a Friday. Now if we hold above .009 tomorrow, that will be an accomplishment. If we don't get any news next week, it will drop fast again.
What is the "correct" way to play this Fynley? I've been hesitant to trade it much because I have been afraid it could explode at anytime and I don't want to be chasing it for a big buy.
I've got to believe management is intentionally keeping the lid on this by not making any announcements today in such an obvious situation.
Should get to a penny+ tomorrow or more if we get a good PR.
Like Jim noted in his post, VFIN moved a lot of shares undr .007 to MM's.
Is there news or is profit taking being setup? So much for less volatility.
Seems like volatility is easing up. Maybe we're finally on a slow but steady ride up.
I thought GP owned Blue Linx.
If you have another occasion to speak with Bill, ask him if he foresees any change with distribution plans since Koch is buying Georgia Pacific.
I agree. I went into to this taking Turek at his word and have been long for a year. I understand the Chicken Little sky is falling skepticism created by the handling of the audit and must admit I was beginning to have my doubts especially after the AS increase. I know there is talk of dilution circulating with dire warnings to get out quick. Everyone is getting nervous and would like some stroking by PLNI telling us everything they told us is true (other than the audit completion). I'm still hoping this is for real and waiting for the official announcements of what has been communicated back-channel by management to shareholders lke you.
Oh I forgot, their answering as ProMold.
Just called the number X supplied for ProMold. It's the right one and questions about if it was acquired or not are, you guessed it, being referred to Mapple.
We are supposed to have acquired a 10 year supply of plastic already. Based on what production forecast I don't know.
Any thoughts on all the volume...
Could be Fynley. They are int'l and after looking at their portfolio PLNI could definitely find a home there. Here's a link:

...and a Happy New Year$$$
Need any matches Elvis?
Couldn't agree more. They could've been stroking this for all it's worth and try to bring this thing in to Semco next week with a full head of steam. Maybe they really are trying to buy back shares cheap.
The handling of PR has been bush league at best. Outside of the GB and BID ads they have played it badly.
Lem, I have never said Turek lied about anything but I think most everyone on this board feels he created doubt by his handling of the audit deadlines. Did he do this intentionally? I don't know but he left everyone in the dark and that was not a good thing. Hand holding? I consider it smart and good for pps to do regular pr on any topic worth writing about as long as it's true and not overdone. It doesn't cost anything to post it to their website. They should have a publicist doing this on a regular basis. Hell, it works real well for the pump and dump crowd. I think it would do well for a legitimate stock.
They continue to play it badly. What about a couple of soft PR's? Like "we completed the deal" (maybe giving some details of it)and "here we are in our new facility cranking out orders 24/7" (maybe giving some numbers). Hell, give me the info Jim and I'll write 'em for ya?
I know I haven't and most likely none of the regulars on this board that have substantial shares have either. I'm not familiar with other boards, but I'm guessing the longs probably control conservatively 200mil. That would leave another 300mil actively traded. So I guess the volume we've been seeing could be supported with the trading of those 300mil. For what it's worth, PLNI is not on the SHO list. As the stock becomes more legit we should see volume decrease as more believers are created.
Well Penny, about 53mil are spoken for so far...
I thought we'd get a bigger bump today. Hopefully, they will PR the closing of the deal today once the papers are signed.
Estimated Market Cap: 9.0M as of 2005-11-07 (based on Outstanding Shares as of 2005-09-01)
Authorized Shares: 2,000,000,000 as of 2004-11-15
Float: 500,000,000 as of 2005-09-01
Number of Shareholders of Record: 3,800 as of 2005-09-01
From Pink Sheets.
Okay, so with GB and counted so far we're up to 50mil...
Penny, I read somewhere that there were only 186 shareholders.
Okay Penny, we're up to 30.6 mil long...
So the float we're dealing with is 200mil. So Penny, you know the longs are probably holding at least half of that if not more. So your theory on the shorting is entirely possible.
So we're up to 26.4mil. We still don't know the disposition of those 200mil supposedly retired. Are the AS or OS?
Let's all ante up and see what we're holding. I have 3mil. So between you me and your friends we have 21mil?
In Britain, the cows that infected the people who ate them were being fed the ground up remains of dead sheep that were apparently already infected with the disease. There are instances of wild elk and deer in North America also contracting the disease that must have contracted the disease some other way than by eating infected animals since they are both vegetarians. I guess there is alot we don't know about the transmission of Mad Cow. Maybe we can get it from recycled plastic?
Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like some of the MMs were refusing to sell to others at .0051 for most of the day. Maybe they are thinking the price should, or will be, higher tomorrow...GLTA..$$$
Nano, how would Mad Cow get into the plastic? It's only contained in the spinal material of infected animals.
I would think that the process of liquifying and removing the impurities from the old plastic would take care of that?
Shares must be getting hareder to come buy...MMs are moving them in blocs of 500K or less.
We better keep everything crossed for this Penny. If they don't deliver on this we're toast. GTA.
