...or the buyback continues $
Day's not over Shorts! Seems unlikely though.
When I spoke with him on Dec. 8th about the new info on the Pink Sheets. He told Penny the same thing the same day (See post 3136).
They did! And Rodney said they would be separate PR. So, we are gettin' real close Lem.
Then we should soon see a real PR and a price jump.
It's been my contention for a while now that the price was being intentionally held down by the lack of PR and the only thing that explains it, IMO, is the buyback. The increase in the float, Rodney told me, was not used for ProMold or Semco purchases. Some have speculated on equipment. What a great way to further suppress the price. Sell cheap and buyback cheaper while giving interested parties a chance to scarf up shares at a discount. Brilliant. TUREK YOU'RE A GENIUS$$$$
Lem > These are the expected PR:
1. Re: ProMold & Semco acquisitions
2. Re: Audit & Application; and
3. Re: Share Structure/Buyback (Still "looking at" according to Rodney).
This is what has been promised >
1. The acquisitions would be completed.
2. The audit and application would be completed.
3. Share restructure/ buyback plan would be formulated.
Perhaps VFIN lowered the ask because they were unable to move shares at a higher price? To sell for less when you can get more....hhmmm... maybe they thought it was better to make a little of alot of volume? To sell shares for less than you can get doesn't seem to make any sense unless you were buying them yourself. Come on Lem, help me think outside the box.
Should be a lot of buyers at these prices Lem. Who can afford to sell at these prices and volumes is the question.
Maybe we're getting closer to an announcement?
Good question Rook. The longs that got in for less than that either sold off a long time ago and the ones that didn't are probably holding for news. Maybe we'll see another Pink Sheets adjustment soon.
Shorts, I'm proud of you. You handled that one like a real gentleman.
Shorts,
I think we're all down and upset over how things are going and will continue to hold hoping Turek can deliver on everything he has promised. We all know PLNI has the potential and things would probably be different if the PR was handled better. GLTY and Happy Holidays to you too.
Zoro...Steve Scozzaro
Shorts, I do appreciate your devotion to DD and your skepticism and I think others would be more inclined to do so as well if you left the underlying hostility towards Turek out of it. None of us really know what the truth is or where this is headed but until we do I don't think demonizing Turek is helpful. In the end you may be right but making us feel stupid about believing in Turek and his company isn't making the wait any easier and only serves to antagonize. Please keep providing useful info or insight when and where you can. Thanks.
Just started!
Any trades yet today? Ameritrade doesn't show any.
It will be an interesting and hopefully profitable next few weeks for sure Shorts. By the way, nobody seemed to notice yesterday that Semco wasn't mentioned in the PR. Have a nice weekend.
"7. Share restructure will be part of this and you will see a reduction in the amout of shares of PLNI that you own."
So, in your opinion, how much of a reduction do you foresee?
I can replace your second, at no cost to you, with a bigger one if you have the equity and credit
But a merger is not an acqusition, right? And they are calling it an acquisition. Could it be that the acquistion is pending SEC approval of the application to the board and is tied to the share restructure and a guaranteed share price?
Any constructive thoughts on what the "pending SEC approval" caveat in today's PR means?
I'VE ALREADY BOUGHT ALL I CAN AND CAN'T SELL NOW MR.DALE!
TFN - Mr. T has been very good in placating the masses who want to believe with many carrots he has dangled (both publicly and through back channels)that have yet to be received. It was good for share price. That is why the silence on the share issues seems so suspicious and rankles those who have taken him at his word. Yes, we understand it's a pinkie and all the expected transgressions and risk that go with such an investment but I can understand how some feel distrustful of the present situation and agree with you that they have a right to vent within the rules if open discussion is the purpose of this board. The lack of news on the share issues by someone who has played the hopeful like a drum deserves honest scrutiny and we should be patient with those expressing it whether we agree with it or not. I hope you boght your new shares while it was under a half. GLTA.
That is what is so disappointing about this. Just like the increase in AS. No explanation, no nothing.
dilution
Definition:
The change in earnings per share or book value per share that would result if all warrants and stock options were exercised and all convertible securities were converted.
Not trying to be a smarta** Nano. But you did ask.
For what it's worth, Rodney at Mapple has confirmed to me the increases being reported are accurate and are the result of matters (he cannot discuss of course) unrelated to the acqusitions of ProMold and Semco. He also says they are aware of today's volume and share price and the sentiments being expressed on the boards.Mapple is in daily contact with management, and as shareholders, believes Plasticon has the shareholders best interest at heart and are glad to be shareholders in the company. He also says they are "still looking" at the buyback/ restructuring plan.
Seems like we have to at some point since we're pretty close to the bottom. No where to go but up.
Could mean we are going to get an announcement soon (maybe tomorrow) on the share restructure plan. Maybe Mr. T is trying to shake out some more shorts by announcing the plan he said would be most favorable to long term shareholders?
Any thoughts on why today's volume is so light and yesterday's so heavy? What's changed since yesterday?
Good point State!
"A number of these new rules include conditions of eligibility. Most of the rules, for example, are not available to blank check companies, penny stock issuers, or shell companies." It seems penny stocks are not covered by this.
Yeah Shorts! Tell all of us how we can do that $$$
Is that spelled with a capital "T" ?
Do you have to be a "paying" member to have an open conversation on this board?
Could be you found the reason for the audit delay and increased AS. Doesn't look good.
Nowhere to go but up? Looks like all the fats been trimmed for now. For what it's worth, Rodney Marble of Mapple says there will be three PR's before the end of the year dealing with the Semco & Promold deals, financials and application and share structure. Probably in that order. I would assume we can expect to see these within the next three weeks. Perhaps Dec.5,12 and 19 announcements.
On our most recent free fall towards .005, is it my imagination or has the volume been light for such volatility? Maybe the shakedown, shakeout or consolidation or whatever you want to call it, is almost over as we drift down again to the 1/2 penny mark. Yeah Lem, let's hope that PR is a rocket to the moon and not a grenade down our pants. I'm hopeful that after 17 years Turek has finally put all the pieces together, but I'm also aware that a man in his position could be desperate to make it happen!
In reading that post you were certain to feel that an announcement(s) would be forthcoming soon. I did. But it seems Turek & Co. keep making back-channel promises they are not delivering on and are content to let the price drop on no news. Perhaps they are trying to freeze the longs in and the shorts out while scarfing up cheap shares as part of the buy-back plan. Maybe...we'll know before the New Year?
It seems obvious to me that Turek, with his marketing credentials, knows exactly what he is doing and is content to leave the price where it is for now.
Hoping for some more cheap shares eh?
