Sale is a sale. Revenue outside the US is still revenue. They don't need fda approval to sell to China
What's funny is that all they need is ce mark and can sell outside the us. Only the US requires fda approval. You do realize that right. Like I said one sport will be sold before surgibot.
Sticking to my claim that sport will be sold to customer before surgibot.
remember the patent Titan had in their corp presentation: Laparoscopic Surgery Generally – Use of Magnetics
Interesting article about this concept:
http://news.vanderbilt.edu/2015/03/sophisticated-application-of-magnetic-force-enhances-laparoscopic-surgery/
Could be big in Pediatric Robotic Surgery. For the physicians on the board, is robotic surgery big in Pediatrics?
It could explain what Bertner could be doing since no one has any clue what she does for $20k/month. If they would, they would need a good IR company to do it.
It should also be pointed out that TRXC was also at $14/share just over a year ago and is trading in the $2/range now.
i also think ISRG could be a potential partner/buyer of Titan, so i have 2 baskets.
its at the end of the arm and has five fingers
good point, here's the corp presentation again for those potential investors coming to seek more info on Titan

On the surface, this console is hands down, much, much better than what is currently in the market. The ERGONOMICS of the console alone would entice any physician right now doing robotics to give Titan a try. I can only imagine how the Screen and the touchpad interact with each other and give phsycians access to data literally at their fingertips. I have to believe that any physician doing robotics right now would love to give Titan a try. Interesting how different the ERGONOMICS is on Titan compared to the other robotic platform in the market and how JnJ spoke to the importance of ERGONOMICS in their platform. What physician would want to stand all day during surgery - how bad would that have been for our investment if they made a robotic platform that required physicians to stand all day.
Im saying the same thing as the article, they have $9.3B in cash. It might help you to read the article
"NOVEL ROBOTIC SYSTEM"
here is a quote from CEO of Cadence:
"We are pleased to partner with Titan to help design and build the instrumentation for the Sport Surgical System," said Alan Connor, President and CEO of Cadence. "We are very impressed with what Titan is preparing to bring to the market and look forward to playing a key role in the continued advancement of this novel robotic system."
Here is a description that has been in every JnJ job posting regarding robotic system:
"This Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, R&D, will work with internal and external teams to develop highly articulated surgical instruments to interface with a novel surgical robot."
How Titan describes SPORT:
"Novel Robotic System"
some news, doesn't look good to get back to the high of $14/share

Then u must know the difference bt reusable and single use. And if u follow Titan, then u know their arms will be reusable and need to be sterilized and the end effectors will be disposable. I used the terminology "arms" but should have been more specific and said "snake arms" as to not confuse people. Titans "snake arms" will be reusable (up to 10x, I believe) and end effectors and surgical instruments will be disposable. I don't sell into the OR but am familiar with Titan info.
First, I am not familiar with the medtechy board you are referring too so the answer is no. I waste just enough of my time on this board and that is too much.
As for the question about the difference b/t arms and the end effectors, my first thought was a little disbelief that investors wouldn't know the difference but I've now come to believe that not everyone does the same due diligence as others.
There are parts of Titan that will be inserted into the patient, will then be taken out, sterilized and reused again (arms, camera housing unit, etc) - according to today's announcement, they will be manufactured by Cadence. There are also end effectors that are used to cut, suture, staplers, etc and do whatever else is needed in surgery that will be disposable (that is the worldwide supplier). They are two different companies. there is a difference b/t Surgical Instruments and Multi-Articulating instruments. Re-read thru the 2 different press releases and it should make sense, if it doesn't, I can't help you.

Investors dumping the stock
Face palm? Please explain to the board what that means. When you meet someone do you say " pound me dog" but never put your fist out?
No I'm not. I will provide you a chance to show us where jnj says they are developing their own surgical robotic platform IN-HOUSE. that is the minority opinion on this board.
I've looked thru that analyst review and it NEVER SAYS that jnj is developing a robotic system IN-HOUSE
Saying that they are w no proof is wrong. Saying something factual like the stock you own was at $14/share and has slid back to $2 bc it is delayed with their platform and the purchase of ALF showed mr market that they were panicking, I'd listen to that bc you are telling the facts.
You are telling the world that a large public company like jnj is immune to EEO? That is illegal. You don't have much life experiences, do you?
Who cares and u don't know what I am incapable of considering. Damn some people just don't get it. Geez dude.
Calm down, not every post is a response to you. I like the readers of these post to know my thought process and why I'm invested. I am sure readers of some of these posters can't tell where the bs starts and stops. This one is in response to you, at least people that read my post know where I stand and how I've gotten to that position.
One thing I will admit, I'm not a pumper or have the ability or willingness to try and use this board to manipulate.
FACT: jnj never posted a job for ANY position looking for someone to build a surgical robotic platform. NEVER.
FACT : after the collaboration announcement, jnj has posted dozens and dozens of jobs REQUIRING responsibilities for developing and manufacturing ROBOTIC END EFFECTORS/TOOLS.
FACT: JJDC owns 23.6% of Warren robotics
FACT: Titan signs agreement with WORLDWIDE SUPPLIER 3 weeks after jnj/Google partnership
FACT: jnj is making end end effectors and tooling for a surgical robotic platform that they are acquiring since they haven't developed one.
I actually think warren robotics IS THE SUITOR bc of information available.
Negative people all agree with each other.
Cambridge medical - isn't it a viewing console like davinci, if so, they are not partnering w warren robotics - no place for google glass w a davinci like console.
Hey, thanks for that, i am not sure how i missed it but that is very good stuff and encouraging. talk soon.
I've done my due diligence and comfortable with my research.
At $4, I will have more than doubled my money in 2 years. Then on to the next investment. I'm certainly not going to cry about it. Might be different if I was invested for 5 years so someone who is in that position will have to give their opinion.
No offense but I don't own warrants and not too concerned w them. Whatever way the money comes in-warrants or shelf is fine. For me, longtai owning shares is better for stock holders bc they resources to drive sales of Titan where as a warrant holder can't help sell sport. Jmo
The JV will be with warren robotics and it will be in the form of a Partnership
Absolutely
We have $35m left on the shelf offering, so to me it looks like we can access those funds to complete product.
Thanks Ted, I WILL NOT take that advice even though it was free.
Interesting how again the name of the worldwide supplier was not disclosed. No mention of it on Microlines webpage and also have noticed that Microline is NOT HIRING ANY personnel related to creating customer made tooling/end effectors. However, I've noticed that ethicon is hiring a ton of personnel to design and engineer custom surgical robotic tools/end effectors.
I had a post deleted asking why it is quite clear that microcline is the supplier which is relevant to this board but someone chose to delete that but let a misinformed post stay up. I have a feeling some info is being deleted from this board by moderators that could be helpful to us investors.
Fair Value is relative, some people would think fair value is $50/share, others might think that fair value at this point is $5/share. The value is whatever is agreed upon b/t buyer and seller. It would almost lead you to believe that their is a different "Fair Value" based on where they are in the development of SPORT.
For example, maybe after "Design and Test of Feasability Prototype" value was worth X amount to the buyer (for example purposes only X=$500M).
Then the next milestone (Units built and ready for engineering verification) was worth Y amount to the buyer (example Y=$750M)
and on and on until FDA approval and revenue generation was worth Z amount (Z=$3B)
If this were the case, then the PPS would not matter to Titan Mgmt, only achieving certain levels that are needed for the buyers value to equal their value.
Again, I am not sure about this but I also don't buy the theory that mgmt is aloof and don't know what they are doing regarding the BUSINESS side of it. I don't disagree that they are not supporting share price. I think they are operating the company on that fine line b/t private and public company - what i mean is they fulfill the minimum obligations regarding information that is required by a public company but operate, develop and negotiate as if they were a private company.
