So where is the PR that was assured beginning end of last and slid to Monday only to still not have shown.....either the loyal longs on these boards are making things up or they are being fibbed to...hmmm, wonder which it is?
zagdad
Hey, what happened to the expected PR from last Thursday...then Monday..now...??
zagdad
Ruellit, sorry just catching up but at .05 I'd be even!! Woo-hoo...go thingie....
zgada
Question - I got in back during the last rally but really expected news that covered elimination of the ugly debt owed both Wells Fargo and Cornell...since nothing on Cornell gets discussed or mentioned in the Wells news, can you help me understand...is the Cornell issue still like an anchor on us or is a plan expected or isn't Cornell a play still?? Long but confused - trying to decide whether to add-on.
Thanks, zagdad
Pat, I'll take anything these days - great time to build on some recent strength in pps...but then again had EY ever taken seriously even one of the many ideas I've sent and talked to him about this stock would be in anohter world. Limited capacity in many areas....too bad, he'd make a good CTO MAYBE....
zagdad
Stormy, lots of options that unfortunately EY ever takes advantage of, including: update on NEOM deal/activity, launch in England/Europe/elsewhere internationally, relationships, travel industries.... the list is long....
zagdad
Rawnoc, guess I've missed most of the reasons you have taken down the prelude to this board but really think it was one of the better ones I've seen and appreciated by many...why not have it up?
zagdad
I have reason to believe we may see news early this week - could be others are aware of it? Hmmm, we'll see...
zagdad
Comment on the Howie Stern portion of that post - that was an ad early last year - not new news as best I know...from a guy born recently on RB...so we wait for the move to the BB, the launch, the merger, the announcement of busiess relationships..and what ever else has been bantered about.....
GLTA, zagdad
schlitz, first the Q or K would not be due in 30 days - mid or end of March depending. They are waiting for the 15C to be accepted, after it was submitted by an MM, to move to the BB. Could be as early as next week if it went in last week.
zagdad
rsadey, sorry if this gets addressed by someone else that I haven't go to yet but in case - the company has said in print and to me on the phone that it will not retain any ownership....I take that to mean no shares will be retained as Treasury shares for other uses. If anyone has heard or read differently please speak up.
zagdad
cleverrox, wouldn't that be nice! The way I see the numbers coming down on this in the near term they might not be smiling as much as normal.
My first two thoughts on this hype of CTBG were to either 1) run it up so someone could find a nice exit point, or 2) run the darn thing up for a great short entry point. In either case....cost = $15,000; value = PRICELESS....LOL
Has anyone seen a pulse on RBull in the last 36 hours - I haven't? This could get to be a busy board soon....
OT - Wow, big day in collegiate BBall...even my favorite, Gonzaga, almost got upset....
zagdad
Bull, I do read RB and do know at least two of us who were told by the company of the audit team about to show up and begin...don't remember who was told otherwise and RB is down so can't really look back. Maybe you can remind me of someone who said otherwise. It would be good for all to get down the road as soon as possible.
zagdad
Han, we may have a mixture of ideas here. I have a feeling that we are confusing a few audits. We have the ever running GFCI audits which ran into snags based on the LBTI'Jarvis failures/deficiencies; then we have word of a forensic audit team from the East which has been asked to see if there are ways to work around the problems/fix them to get GFCI back on track; and finally we have the audit work for the new CTBG company that's required before the SB filings, Q&A if necessary, eventual approval of the spin off T&Cs, and finally the long awaited announcement to the world. It is the later one that Dial has VERY recently suggested is about to begin. The time for each step is viable of course and certainly I am only guesstimating that - did some auditing once upon a time and it is usually more than a few days - one day to find the men's room, etc. If the shell was super clean then they are likely in good shape as Mr. Swinford has said he keep excellent records....and that's great.
I would assume that the new CFO for GFCI would also be involved at least until the split - wonder if there will be any share management roles? Any body know for sure?
As for Dial saying "things are on target"....did you get his understanding of what that was time wise with specifics?
zagdad
Han, let me correct your thinking in one area as best I know. The auditors are just showing up to pull things together for the filing this coming week at best. Then they have work to do, filings, potential Q&As with SEC, etc. Once that is complete the company will be able to announce what the T&Cs for the spin off are...no way that could be inside of a month...I'd guess closer to two months baring any real issues. This is management's view at this time with respect to activities... not necessarily time required. Other investors have posted similar timelines. Also have a quiet period in place per management so I would say news in this area isn't likely soon.
zagdad
Han, there is no way they are going to buy or should even consider seriously buying back a large amount IMHO. Money is too precious and costly when you need it as a young, growing company. Personally I wouldn't even being buying the 1 M except it seems to show strength/confidence to some.
I also talked to Dial recently and found I couldn't get a confirm on the "what-if" thought that given the numbers of @37+M OS and about double that in CTBG shares available for distribution so the mental math says about 2 for 1...donno why that question can't even get a general answer...and is confused by the fact that the TA is still not authorized by the company to give out the specific OS numbers. Can anybody suggest why that number might be still unknown/unconfirmed to the company?
zagdad
Rawnoc, I appreciate your conservative forecast - good thing you don't tell it like it might be! LOL. Go up please - rode the elavator up and back down last time....might push a button this time when we get to .05 or so.
zagdad
OT - Stonehedge, wow, still around! Still have your computer huh? Thought you had maybe gone back to the chisel and a rock tablet.
Me long here too...go TRDY.
zagdad
test - excuse me.
Another of the open questions for sure is the who and why is getting the 12% of the shares (that's over 9M shares) - damn expensive shell which looks to me non-reporting....hope they are restricted shares and that Dial and other GFCI players do not have any portion of them as part of a deal - that wouldn't seem too good. So many unanswered questions.
On the surface it would appear that we would get towards 2 for 1 if the last OS of 37+ is still correct and that the company will have no ownership/shares.
zagdad
Tom, cute mascot....I hope we get to a couple of bucks before you have to rename it "dinner"....
zagdad
J-Rhino, thanks, np. zagdad
Well J-Rhino, glad to hear you are in the boat. Sorry I took the time to try and address your message and help you but re-reading your post which also was posted as a reply ot a msg to me and had no content that fit was challenging. You wrote:
Is it an unfair comparison: SHRN's technology with ADAT and ADOBE??
So what was that about - well I don't really care and will try to help others in the future if I think they need it. My thanks to Duelittle for dragging over here his excellent DD - more than anyone ever needs to know about SHRN and AS to help those in need..
J-Rhino, do you have a different alias over on RB if you do post there?
zagdad
duelittle, can you please drag and post your great DD recap over here for others to read and so that we can also point new folks to it on occasion.
TIA, zagdad
J-Rhino, I don't see any comparison. What specifically are you refering to? The best first step to understand what Activshopper, the application, is about would be to go to the site www.activshopper.com (note no "e") and read - you can believe everything you see there as it has already been test my many through use. Then take the tour if you like but finally, or first if you prefer, load down the software (really easy and fast) then go take the steps to buy something and watch AS go to work most of the time on your behalf with no effort on your part nor cost either before you use or if you use. Heck even if you don't buy any stock I have just saved you shopping dollars for the rest of your life - and no charge as it is my introductory offer to you to kick the new year off!!
Also check the DD Recap posted earlier. It don't get any better at these prices!! Jeez, Sunday night - got to check my seatbelt and helmet...the time is coming!!
zagdad
in theory, yep, would love to have a accurate record of all the buy and sell volume on SHRN as I think the buying has been much greater than selling for quite a while but the few transactions at later part of the day always seems to tame us down a bit. The base pps has got to be inch up daily despite the MMs. Hope fully we will wear them out and the buying will just take over for good!!
zagdad
johnbell, I'm still trying to recover for the Zags tanking yesterday! Opps, I should be a good sport and say that the M guys played exceptional. LOL Can I assume that I might know you as "annbell" in some situations?
Yes, good fortune to we SHRN longs...got come, too many great things going for us!
zagdad
Tripped over this article in Online Hardware Dispatch - nice recap - one of over 5000 hits on Google tonight. A few comments that I haven't seen before. Dated 12/31/04

Shelron Group Brings Product Search Improvements To ActivShopper Via Affiliate Agreement (Business Wire)
ActivShopper, officially launched last March, has quickly gained thousands of online users who are attracted by its instant and timely price comparison technology. The free browser plug-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer automatically appears in the browser toolbar whenever users visit a product page at an eCommerce site, then displays the best Internet price for the same product. Users can click on the toolbar for expanded price/rating comparisons, with the option to be taken directly to any of the sites offering preferred terms or ratings.
ActivShopper currently provides real-time data for millions of computer hardware/software products, books, digital cameras, TVs, batteries, and MP3 players, among others. With the addition of Shopping.com's products and merchants, ActivShopper users will gain a huge new database from which to compare products, in categories ranging from clothing and health & beauty to music, video games, appliances, toys and much more.
In addition, the ActivShopper toolbar now includes "star rankings" for merchants based on 13 million reviews written by the Epinions community. Epinions, a Shopping.com site, is a consumer review community of more than 40,000 reviewers with reviews of thousands of merchants and nearly 2 million products.
"The Shelron Group is excited to work with Shopping.com, the Internet's most visible and successful comparison shopping site," said Eliron Yaron, CEO of The Shelron Group. "Based on the fast launch and quick consumer acceptance of ActivShopper, I'm sure we will be sending a significant amount of traffic to thousands of Shopping.com participating online retailers. We also anticipate a sizable increase in business and revenue for The Shelron Group as a result of this agreement, including the signing of a number of new distribution agreements in 2005."
ActivShopper has gained considerable media attention in recent months, including coverage by ABCnews.com, Bloomberg radio, NBC4, and ABC Channel 7 in New York. Between ongoing press coverage as well as agreements such as those with Shopping.com, The Shelron Group anticipates sizeable increases in its user base in 2005.
Shopping.com information is already available to ActivShopper users through the toolbar plug-in. For more information about ActivShopper, or to download the ActivShopper Toolbar, visit www.activshopper.com.
About ActivShopper:
ActivShopper is a free software download that automatically scans, locates and compares prices for an item that a consumer selects at an e-commerce site. Once the item is selected, ActivShopper finds the lowest prices for that item. In other words, if it is less expensive elsewhere, ActivShopper will find it, saving the consumer money. The ActivShopper browser sits under the toolbar, letting the consumer search the Internet without interfering. ActivShopper eliminates browsing comparative shopping sites and trying to understand complex comparison tables. No more jumping from site to site in order to find the best prices. You get the best prices on your browser instantly! ActivShopper is headquartered in New York City. For more information about ActivShopper, visit www.activshopper.com or call 1-516-620-6794.

OT - Rick...."Apparently my last post for the day " a little early to start your NY's party isn't it? Have I sent enough rain south to you yet to top your pool off? LOL.
Go SHRN...and Cal, USC, Boise State...and the Gonzaga BB team...and 2005 is going to be great!!!!!
zagdad
Mac, low of the day is still .036 on vol over 4M so think that was a mis-print.
zagdad
Hi Rick! So tomorrow being a Friday do ya think we could get some strength or the normal day cruisers selling off a little? Kind of risky to sell this one now as ya never know about the next PR - hard to predict so far. Might be Monday AM before market or .....
zgadad
Hi fellow longs, wandered over here after I finally found my log in info from years ago - RB is soooo slow and frustrating thiese days. Gotta like todays direction. Some day when things get really hectic over on RB and the bashers once again out number all of the serious longs maybe we can migrate the action over hear....not easy but I've seen it happen before.
zagdad
Nice to trip over this board - think we are on to a hottie by any evaluation.
zagdad
SHRN - anybody following this one - haven't been here in a while but a scan back didn't pull SHRN. Short feature on Digital Edge on NBC4, Wash DC to night. Certainly lends some credibility for the ASctive Shopper new product in a market place that is really hot with Yahoo's 500+M buyout of Kelkoo and Google's move, along with MS's complaining that they have missed the boat and need to get back in this game. And all for a little over .03! Worth a look IMO. Anybody has interest I offer more unless this is old hat here already.
zagdad
Hi guys and gals, forgot I even had a membership over here but looks more civil so far than RB so will at least lurk more. I'm excited about the whispers of the future I'm hearing with respect to MDCE - and a ways to go back to square 1 but enough shares to make it worth the ride sooo.......go get 'em!
zagdad
cabos, I agree that the lack of their ability to market/sell such a great product would also prompt me to go to the Infomertial as one approach. We do need better communications and many of us have a great deal invested, have been blindly supportive at times, and deserve it. I can be reached at gmp@pobox.com for positive actions and idea exchanges.
zagdad
Moron, I second your motion on Diverdan.
zagdad
OT - Madhatter, email me if you care to discuss your post with me. gmp@pobox.com
Thanks, zagdad
As follow-up to my last post and as I stated over on the zoo board I see the schedule hasn't made it to the Seaview web site yet so should I drag the schedule over here for the HSN sales spots or if any one wants me to email I'd be glad to provide.
zagdad
The schedule for the HSN TV sales slots has been received by email this afternoon. I assume it is or will be posted on the Seaview web site. Let's stir up some frantic buying! Christmas presents for the relatives...This could be a turning point.
