I've just texted SP for a status update. Let's see if he responds.
You,,,,thick skin? Right. No angst here and if it is 99% BS, why are you still here? You don't need to go to SL and Ghana. The tools to find out about SNEY is within your finger tips.
We don't know until we know. So why whine about it? We all know how you feel ad nauseum. Very exasperating. When we know, we'll know whether we guessed right or wrong. Until then why not content yourself with trying to find out what you can about the company instead of relying on us? You piggy backed off of others to get into this stock. You've done nothing but piggy back since. All the while bitching and moaning. Micky at least has done some gret analysis, and Green contributes...but you just moan.
Not really. Investors are a necessary evil. SNEY should be focused on mining gold and being as prfitable as it can, not give a damn about our creature comforts. If it makes money, we make money.
Easy now. You'll bust a lung Al. Risk is a geat moderator. And he hasn't burned out which most have tended to do on this board. Who would you vote for? Scuba? Green? Austin?
Heck no. I guess I will text SP tonight. It seems to catch him and he responds when I post around 8:00 pm CST. But like I said I was hoping something would have been filed yesterday, but that was my timeline, not SNEY's. Maybe it's in the Edgarizing phase. I have no idea.
I don't think they give a rat's ass what you or I think. It will come when it is done and not till then. They have their timeline and if does not comport to yours, TS. The Q1 is being restated, the 2Q will be filed at the same time and then the Q3 and 10K will follow. I had hoped two would have been yesterday, but that was my hope, nothing more.
Errrr....uhhh.....I ..uh....eeeeeh....don't know what you're talking about. And quoting me won't jog my memory.
Click on his name and go back to his earlier posts when he was a buddy and confident of SP's. I really think he's just a kid who found this sight and for some reason decided to pretend he was an investor of sorts. But one never knows. He has really never really contributed much even when he was pro SNEY.
I'm thinking tomorrow on a filing. Why not?
You could be right. I really don't expect a big pop. I do think the trend is up though and we will see .010 before we see the .004's that trader was predicting.
Thanks Long for your deep insight. Couldn't have said it better myself. It is refreshing to hear your comments after breezing through the fodder that other posters have to say. With analytic powers such as yours, one would have been a fool to have invested inthis stock. Could thing you never invested.
That certainly is the teaser. Great having the centerpiece that others might covet. But according to Austin, this is probably the one area which doesn't have any mineral worth whatsoever, and even if it does there is no guarantee that SNEY can get it out and sell it. After all we don't even know if SNEY is still open and operating. I am waiting for Wednesday. Things get more current.
And Ghana is a real mystery. I asked SP about what was happening there and you all know his answer. Auditors asked that nothing be stated that hasn't undergone auditor review until all filings current. Nothing about Ghana other than they were moving there, all forward looking statements. Would be great to have a heads-up on that. That is another reason I've been buying. Goes against what I've been preaching, because I have very little DD on Ghana. But that is the gambler in me.
The momo is building. Bali should be out in a minute. I'm not really looking for a great week, because historically when something does come out, the market treats it with caution, but the upward pressure will be building based on any filing, and once current new possibilities will open up. I sure would like to know if the new and improved dredge is on the river. :)
Let's see. You could have bought 100,000 shares at .005 just a while back and sold them at .0063 Friday. Been a nice $130 gain, or you could have left it in until Friday, where it will certainly be the same or higher, don't you think? You really don't think this is going the Trader way and hit the .004's do you? That will happen if nothing comes out of the company for a month or two. And if that happens, I will be there to buy up the .004's because I know what is happening on the ground. SNEY is raking it in day after day after monotonous day. That is money in th ebank.
Going to be accused of pumping again Risk. You should no you can lead a mule to water, but you can't make him drink. Anyone playing with these kinds of stocks (we're not talking penny stocks-we're talking subpennies) needs to be flexible, but we also know some actually bought in on the hype and didn't so there due diligence and got caught with their pants down. Wrong philosophy unless you are a trader willing to take a small loss in hopes of a fast gain. But, I agree, anytime below .02, one should be buying, not crying.
No chance. Look at filings by Wednesday and then the 10K first week in April followed by PRs.
I guess I look at it differently than you having been in it since 2010.
Sney Stock Price-Points;
A) .01- 50% profit, keep buying
B) .02- 3-bagger, keep buying
C) .03- Happy Dance, buy Large his Lambourgini
D) .04- Hell, buy some more shares
E) .05- .10 -Trip to Cancun; dunk Scuba at the beach party
F) .11+- laugh at Trader, Long, and a few others
I'm not sure I understand your point. I don't sell enough oil to impact one tenth of one tenth of the world oil market, but still manage to sell about $95,000,000 wortj a month. Your point?
Last year this time is when it started to climb. Maybe it will be .02 at the end of April
Last night's post for those who haven't seen it from SP:
"Auditors had to literally audit all shares and warrant issuances. There were some errors at the TFR agent and therefore the law requires the auditor to do a total audit. This is OK in the long run because lot [sic] is now done for the 10K up to today!! Inally [sic] today the Q1 is being restated and is in partner review and the adjustments for Q2 are being done and Q2 is going into Partner review tomorrow. Both should be filed next week. Q3 is ready for auditor review and should not take but a few days at this point. The 10K is at the auditor now as well and all the subsequent events that have now all been audited will slip right into the 10K. Whew! Finally, we should see quick progress. We have been requested tp NOT publish anything that might require audit review until we get the stuff done. Incredibly frustrating. Thanks for your patience. Mkt gonna change for the better soon."
How about he was just passing along information given him on a question that had no real answer. Could have been completed in 10 minutes or 10 weeks depending on what sequence fell into or out of place? He has no reason to string us along. In fact he really doesn't have to take the time to give us the information he does, especially after-hours. SNEY is not making this market. We are, and SNEY has at this time only an indirect interest in how the shares are valued. It is looking at making its money mining and selling precious metals. I haven't seen any evidence of insider dumping. I haven't seen any lies. And I personally can't fault anyone for giving information that they deem to be right at the time it was given only to see it didn't bear fruit. No one is more cinical than someone who works in the oil patch where only 99.9% are liars and cheats, not all of them. I guess it depends on your psychological makeup. Some people like to paint rosier paintings (maybe Steve) and some like to paint doom and gloom (not you Scuba, LONG22). But this stock is going over a penny pretty darn soon---bank on it.
Hey, we're all gone when it hits our respective targets. But out of curiosity what is yours? Break even? 10%, 30%, 50%, 150%, 200% gain or what? Mine's when I get that feeling based on years of going with the flow and getting flushed down the drain, nothing real concrete.
Actually, I hope it drops. My daughter wants another 100,000 shares and her tax refund would just cover that additional lot. She got 100,000 Monday with the first part of the refund. Now's the time for Scuba to suck it up and buy another 200,000 and get over the million share mark. Then we all might sympathize with him if this crashes. Nah, we'll still want him in the dunking cage at the Cancun party. Course he'll still be moaning that he only made a couple hundred thou when it should have been millions. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
One thing I should note is the following part of SP's response "We have been requested tp NOT publish anything that might require audit review until we get the stuff done," was probably in response to my question as to why the company had not issued an informative PR in the last six months concerning production. In case anyone wondered.
Actually wasn't an excuse. it was an explanation. And as for the rest of what you said, it is obvious you have never run a company, which was underfunded to begin with, and tried to play catch-up while going uphill with a ton strapped to your back. It's really a wonder that SNEY is still around with what all the doomsayers have been predicting for years. Check out all the tip sheets. Do not buy SNEY, it cannot pay its debts as they come due. This has been the line for at least the last four years, but it keeps hanging in there. The mindset is one of sheer determination. Now I know nothing about stock reverse splits other than every penny stock I've gotten myself into has had a reverse split other than SNEY. But those stocks seemed to do a lot of real (check what I mean by real Scuba) P&D PRs to get investors sucked in. SNEY seems to buck that trend. I don't know what that means, and I'll trust Mickey to keep me aware. But I do like the operations side. Very strong and very long. That's me on the drums Bali, next to Large's Lambourgini, sipping on Charlie's Marguerita with Risk's Cardinal hat slung around backwards looking at Silver's pictures wishing Claude was around CanCun.
Got a reply in 10 minutes, I quote:

Well, what more can you ask for? I have found Steve to be responsive and to answer directly on point, and having been in similar shoes, I know exactly where he is coming from. Quit knocking management and like Bali says, coulda, woulda, shoulda. Thanks for lighting a fire under me Bali. I almost forgot to text him tonight.
Just texted Sp for a status report. And asked him for any update on Ghana that he can give saying we haven't had any PR on the operations side in over six months. Went out at 8:15 CST.
still haven't tried. I will definitly try tonight.
Reminds me of an old Dorothy Parker saying--"you can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think." Keep on pumping and put me on the roll, or as Scuba says doing the in and out.
Cahnged? I'm put off by people who whine and moan and blame others for their own mistakes. That will never change. Even those people can state valuable things, but I usually don't have time to sift through the chaff to come up with the scarce kernel. But you'll notice, I don't have you on ignore. When I make money I won't crow. And if I lose it, I won't whine. I will try, try again.
You know you can always sell your shares for $5,000, take a $15,000 write off and shutup, or you might just leave the board for a few months and just do your day job and come back and find your $20,000 speculation (you might call it an investment) has grown into a respectable return, or you might just monitor it silently and then sell at any tie you wish. Whatever!
Now that's what I'm talking about. Ignorance. That Alaska show reminds me of when I first got in the oil business. Talk about rank amateurs going in on a dream and a shoestring. The only gold they'll get is from the show's producers. If you go back to some of my original posts you'll see what I mean. All you need to do to be a miner is to get a claim, cite the historical production statistics back to the 1850's, get a geologist to write a report, insert some graphs, get some money and go dredge or mine. Hope to hit enough to get something out of it. And you will if you know how to draft operating agreements (or the equivalent in the mining business). Go broke and learn at someone else's expense. If you're smart, you learn and the next ventures get better. Perservere, and you and your investors may actually get rich.
I almost laughed at that post. His posts shouldn't e limited. His expectations are unlikely, but then so are mine. And that is why I make the money. I expect more out of my expectations than most. And there are quite a few like me on this board.
Miller: when I talk about in-country contacts, I am talking about the local businesses and suppliers. For instance, I know there is a shortage of motor fuel in SL right now, but I also know that SNEY has not had any problems getting fuel for its purposes. Could be because of wh is on the BOD, on its management team, or in government. But for whatever reason, its needs are being met. I know that its having no labor problems whatsoever and that other mining companies are actually looking at its model in community relations before getting started. I'm even trying to follow Dredge's group to see what he is up to as well. SNEY's credit is outstanding, so if it is having money problems, it still seems to get enough to do its job. And if there is one thing I know, it is how to scrounge to get work done. SNEY is doing it. And finally, some precious metals are being sold. They may be keeping a lid on it, but money is being made and some new Q's will have to pick up on that.
I did not. Got off on a problem well and didn't have time. Will try tonight.
I hear you. But I'm looking at 500% or more, not 40%. And i still could have managed it differently. But I didn't. I still look at the fact that we'ree all in it for between .004 and .026 and when its all over, it will be in excess of .50. My guess of course, but I realize a whole lot of things have got to fall into place and the odds are astronomical against it. But that's what we do, play the odds.
Actually, when rainy season comes, that is when they get into the full processing mode and get to process all of that stockpiled gold. That's when the money staarts to come. That's when Bali goes into a drumming frenzy and we head to Cancun. You'll still be bitching and complaining that had they been filing all of their reports you would have increased your holdings whil the rest of us will be watching you dive off your dingy from the USS Sney*****. LOL
I think you are hitting it at the right time and will do much better than a four-bagger. You won't have to go through the last fifteen months the rest of us have, and we bought back before and since the CE and still buy on and off. But you're getting it at the right price, because when it hits, it will hit big.
