spokeshave, thanks for the excellent breakdown on the factors in play.
Does the release of the successful prototype specs positively "insure" future revenues?
When substantial tech revenues are "for sure".
That's when we'll really see NVEI on the move. My guess is mid 2003. Any thoughts?
pengy, I think you're right.
That's why I tried in my question to emphasize "definate (100%)" in regards to this info by the end of the year. If somehow they don't produce, look out below!
WTMHouston, with today's emphasis on corporate accountability, Cooper might be treading on thin ice with staements like he made in the last PR if NVEI has nothing productive.
hitimer,it kind of makes the current share price enigmatic, don't you think?
Amen, McCloud
I believe Brad plans to address my message #6890 questions in a future Q and A.
McCloud, as usual very good points.
What type of spec/BER information is expected to be released by the end of the year 1) the speed and distance NVEI is testing, 2)the speed and distance and BER that has been successfully accomplished in house, or 3) the speed and distance and BER that has been verified by an independent third party?
Why the "overkill" on RB?
I can't understand the "overkill" bashing of NVEI on Ragging Bull. Does anybody have any theories? Some have probably been NVEI investors and are frustrated by NVEI's past and may feel like they may have been mislead to some degree. But sometimes it almost seems like there is a desperate attempt to suppress NVEI's success.
I was once pretty frustrated myself with the progress of this stock. And at times voiced my honest displeasure. But right now I am very excited about what appears to be a bright future for my investment in NVEI. Yesterday's Cooper insider buy revelation along with his comments really reinforced my feeling for where NVEI is headed. And what's cool is it should finally happen SOON.
Another impressive factor about Cooper's buying on the open market. I believe he's not drawing a salary at the present time. I'm not an "Einstein", but I can add up two + two.
Why did Cooper buy?
If there's nothing productive coming, why on earth would Cooper buy? He should know, if anybody does. Isn't this a no-brainer?
HOLY GWAKAMOLY, am I dreaming? Folks, this tells me WE ARE ON OUR WAY!
34Simmons, was Ray saying he wouldn't take $100 per share in a buyout?
34Simmons, please expound on this. What do you mean you heard Ray turn down $100 per share? I don't understand.
"miniPRs" was probably the wrong term. But what I'm feeling is that these Ketch "A's" are more than speculation. Especially since they are lawyer-approved.
Here's something exciting, IMO
Actually, there was relatively small amounts of buying yesterday for no obvious reason that moved the share price about 30%. What's going to happen when there is fabulous news with huge buys? I just hope there is little selling pressure for a while when this thing starts to really move up. That will create the dynamics for some big gains.
Aren't these legally-approved Brad Ketch "A's" essentially miniPR's then?
excel, thanks for this relevant bit of info. That just reinforces my feeling that the "A's" are legitimate.
We've been waiting a long time my friend, and it's looking more and more like it was worth the wait.
hitimer, that's exactly the way I see it.
Q and A's are productive.
I feel some new and long-time investors are be buying into Brad Ketch's Q and A's. Unless he's got me fooled, he seems very confident and believable.
hitimer, I was responding to mikerub's question.
mikerub, prosperous movie deal finalized, financing accomplished, successful specs finally revealed.
Ben, I'm not a chart-reader and I hope you're right. But my feeling is NVEI will need to deliver meanningful news to move the share price upward.
Does anybody know if Cooper ever bought any NVEI shares in the open market? That would be a very positive sign.
Is NVEI heading for the mid .30s without any positive financing, movie, or specs. news? Even an additional field test update without the specs. will probably not be a share price catalyst unless a major telco's affiliation would be mentioned. Personnel announcements, though impressive for the most part, haven't been very productive for the share price. The wait goes on.
What was the lowest "ask" today please?
Is the Cooper Administration "dragging it's feet" on the movie deal and a financing package? What do thinks fellow longs?
TA, those two things will definately get things "rockin". I just wished it was yesterday. I guess we just have to have more patience at this stage.
WTMHouston, nice summation of what it's probably going to actually take to finally get NVEI "out of the woods".
fatBMG, what is the first thing needed to truly validate NVEI and "jumpstart" this stagnant share price?
"The dots keep on connecting - Sammartino - Greaves -
Varitas - Cooper - NVC." Wonder why more new "big" investors have obviously not "connected the dots" in terms of getting in at these prices? The NVEI share price in the low .50s, "disruptive" tech potential, "impressive" supporting cast. I really don't get it.
Elderwolf, great point. The method of transmission factor is a huge element in this project.
I agree, a confirmation of impressive speed and distance by a major telco would be an enormous catalyst to NVEI's credibility and a respectable share price.
excel, sometimes a companies'past is hard to shake. I'm seeing this with PVN. Their new management is doing some good things, but I think many investors want to see solid, and I mean solid evidence that things have changed.
spokeshave, accomplishing number 4 would certainly entice much interest in NVEI. Any timelime as to when you feel this could happen?
"Thankfulness is the soil in which joy thrives." Thanks for the reminder. excel, I hope you and porscha are right. I'm satisfied that we're on the right track with Cooper and Ketch. I just have a feeling most new, big investors are going to need to see the revenues before their eyes. I still feel NVEI's past (teasers with little production) makes it necessary for "follow-through until completion" with many judicious, new investors. That's just the way I see it. I could be wrong.
porscha, I don't think I can agree with you this one. With NVEI's track record, especially in this market, mere speculation of possibilities (specific speed and distance and what they MIGHT produce) won't excite many new investor's a great deal. Although it will me because I've been waiting so long for glimmers of hope. Guaranteed revenue from the proven development of the tech will. IMO
porscha, I agree. Specific, impressive speed and distance claims should boost the share price. But the significant gains that I've been waiting a long time for probably won't occur until at least mid-2003 when the tech revenues hopefully role in.
