China Mobile Ltd, the world's biggest mobile operator by subscriber base, said on Wednesday that it has developed the first TD-SCDMA 3G mobile phone supporting the Near Field Communication technology.
NFC is short-range communication technology that can be incorporated into mobile phones to perform functions such as paying for goods or swapping information.
NFC mobile phones can help the operator promote its mobile payment services, since the telecom carrier is trying to find ways to boost its sluggish revenue growth.
Nice call!
Just picked up some more today!
Just listened to the call, very impressed!! Can anyone throw out some successful software companies that we think Destiny could become one day? A good example is I remember buying AKAM under a dollar about 11 years ago but didn't hold it, is AKAM a good comparison assuming DSNY hits a homerun?
Any updates from the CC would be appreciated, couldn't listen at work today! Hope it went well. TIA
Excellent, thanks so much for the update!!
Thank you! Do you know what the timeline is for the T-mobile lawsuit, I thought I read where it could another 2 years, is that correct?
One more question, which play has the best potential future, DSNY or OTIV in your opinion. I have been accumulating both heavily but I've leaned toward DSNY because of the management team. Any thoughts, TIA!
Great, thank you!!
Any ideas why this stock is trading so cheap? The potential looks outstanding but for some reason the PPS continues sliding, any thoughts would be appreciated. TIA
I tried to send Yahoo a mssg to start a board, not sure if it went through or not. Still no board as of today.
Group short attack, panic selling and every stop lose between 9.00 and 3.50 hit today...once it settles will add to my long position!!
Yep, seeking alpha pump article a couple weeks ago followed by a seeking alpha member short fest today. Bottom line is do your own DD and make your own decisions. If you like this long term don't worry about crooked wall street daily BS and hold. If all turns out right this company in time could be a monster!!
HOF, my dd says buy at these levels, but what am I missing???
Your right, the value would stay the same so it really wouldn't matter in the long run, plus on the flip side going to the NASDAQ opens up a lot of doors to new investors. Do you have a opinion on where the market cap should be based on growth and future prospects? Thanks for you help!!
This is possibly a dumb question considering we have no idea how this will work but say if I owned 10k shares now then they do the adr any ideas to how many share I could have when its done? Hope this make sense!! TIA
Thank you!!
Hi Big Pockets, is there a reverse stock split on the horizon to get the PPS over a buck this year to be able to apply for the NASDAQ? TIA
"The company and analysts have stated the disconnect is very apparent, the company intends to list on the NASDAQ later this year to align themselves more with their peers."
It has to be hard to project any type of future revernue numbers not knowing how Clipstream will do on the open market. It could become standard and revs through the roof or it could be a slow. Projections at this point seems almost impossible. I agree a buyout would be the likely!!
This article states Frank was once partially paralyzed and had to treat himself, well he is nolonger paralyzed :) The 2nd paragraph in this post shows the the founders, their families and friends funded the business early in the process, this is the reason Frank and Dr Langer are selling some shares, time to payback! IMO this will be a great investment for those who have the patience to wait it out and accumulate more shares! The article is below:
A car accident in 1992 left Frank partially paralyzed for three years. After three years of marginal improvement in mobility he realized that his doctors could not help further his recovery, so he decided to help himself. He conducted extensive research by mail from university libraries across the country, combing through the research that was relevant to SCI’s and their treatments. Frank developed a treatment for himself to rehabilitate his spine, which used the same principles – neuroprotection and neuroplasticity – that were the basis of Langer’s research.
Initial fundraising for InVivo was through friends and family who believed in the technology. They were right to do so, since the company made history by being the first to successfully heal SCI’s in primates.

The potential market for this company is unbelieveable!! Buy some shares and leave the computer for a year is my recommendation, if things go well the sky is the limit here!!
http://seekingalpha.com/article/495961-big-step-forward-for-invivo?source=yahoo
We see an enormous opportunity for the injectable hydrogel. The acute and chronic spinal cord injury market is estimated at $20 to $25 billion in the U.S. alone. For peripheral nerve pain, there are an estimated 3.2 million nerve block injections done in the U.S. each year. It's an estimated $15 billion market. Existing treatment options are limited and only curb pain for as little as one week. A localized injection using the hydrogel to provide time-released anti-inflammatory therapies like methylprednisolone could provide pain relief for up to twelve months with limited systemic side-effects.
Recommendation
InVivo's stock is up 5% this morning on the announcement. We do not think the market has come to grips with the potential here. Moving the scaffolding forward under HDE is enormous, and the FDA seems clearly supportive of the company's plans. Hydrogel data is expected soon, and between spinal cord injury and peripheral nerve pain, InVivo is sitting on two potential blockbuster indications.
If the trial goes well, he will have these shares sold immdediately! 2014????
One last thing, Dr. Langer has been working with Harvard and MIT for over 10 years on this project, something tells me they wouldn't come to market if they weren't absolutely sure they have the products that will work. Now it's just a matter of time, in Langer I trust :) GL
I agree 100%! eom
Your welcome! I agree finding this in November would have been nice but anytime you can find a stock under the radar with the chance to buy before big money comes in you have to take it! The potential long term is life changing in my opinion, as long as management brings it home. If all goes well this could become Wall Streets darling stock, the products, the potential cure, lack of competition and the all star management team, great future here imo!
Zacks revenue projections for NVIV are...
$89M in 2014
$203M in 2015
$426M in 2016
$676M in 2017
$1.28B in 2018
at 90% gross margins. Compare this to MAKO or ISRG at a similar stage. MAKO's revenues were $66M in 2011 at 66% gross margins and grew 50% y/y. MAKO is trading at a 1.6B market cap.
"If" Zacks is correct... NVIV will be growing 100%+ y/y with much higher margins. If NVIV does $89M in 2014, their market cap should be > $2B which would put the stock price @ $30+.
In 2008 ISRG's revenues were $875M growing 45% y/y with 70% gross margins. Their stock was trading at $323 on Dec 30,2008. With 40M shares outstanding (a guess) that put their market cap at the end of 2008 at $12.9B
ISRG did $1.7B in revenue in 2011 with 72% margins. ISRG's current market cap is $20.5B
If NVIV revenues are $1.2B in 2018 with higher margins, what will their market cap be? If it's valued like ISRG (and it should be if not more) then the market cap will be $15B+.
Zack's claims their projections are conservative so who know's what the real numbers will be. I would be happy if the numbers were 1/2 of their projections. In any case I'm sticking around to find out.

Why no trades?
It's coming, clipstream soft launch is set for April, game changer!!
I can assure you no one is buying this stock for its earnings, it's all about the upcoming trial. One thing I'm not is uncertain about the product, the products are the goldmine here! GL!
Hey Liquid Bull do you know what these filings are for, are they for the last capital raise or for future capital, TIA!!
Securities Registration Statement (simplified form) (S-3/A)
Looking good today!
It should read the first trial is 2 patients, that would be 2 surgeries. Alot of eyes will be on this first trial imo! Not pumping but this should get very interesting in the 1st qtr next year!
I agree grawsha, excellent comparison! Most people don't realize how quick things will happen here, once the trials get approved it won't take long for results. This company has the financial backing and there will be alot eyes watching these trials very closely. To say the least any positive results will provide alot of opportunities to the company. This is why I don't beleive they will trading in the middle of next year, big pharma would love to get their hands on this early! JMO
We expect the program will enroll 2 patients (Part-A) and offer initial preliminary data in two months after initiation. If positive, the FDA should allow expansion into the next 8 patients (Part-B).
Results from the first two will be enough!!
Watch and learn amo!
My prediction is this stock won't be trading in April 2012 under this symbol! Time will tell!
FDA approval is right around the corner! This is not a drug, 2 patients, one surgery, if all goes well then the sky is the limit....the next few months are going to get very interesting around here!!
New here, looking for a good enrty point!
Another settlement and Annual report was put out last night.
