Are we (FMNJ) gonna have access to that Potosi-Comibol Smelter?...
I hope so, becuase that looks like a very nice set-up.
I guess its good the MM's shakeout the weak or stupid hands anyways.
Liar... you previously admitted to taking some profits after your last espisode of Bragging... remember?, your bragging just before they shook you out partially... LOL!
Keep telling the MM's how much of a profit your sitting on... so they can shake more of your shares loose just like they did the last time you started bragging... just like taking Candy from a Baby.
Silver Standard is not producing yet...
by the end of this year, I expect FMNJ's market cap. to be much, much higher than current levels, providing FMNJ moves into production.

One of the more interesting/important notes in that Dubai article worth noting;
"the arguments for holding silver or silver-backed assets are very much the same as for the yellow metal. The immutable quality of precious metals is clear when you look at the image of a silver coin from the reign of the Roman Emperor Trajan - this was legal currency in AD112 and still has a quantifiable value today"...

Interesting Silver article regarding the Silver market and Dubai...
Sunday, July 09 - 2006 at 09:07 - Last week there were rumors that Dubai was trying to corner the silver market like the legendary Hunt Brothers in the 1970s.

PS: Anyone got a package of major US Ports they'd like to sell?.
A clear break past $75, into the $76/77's will likely jack all these micro cap. Oil/Energy stocks, IMO.
It might have something to do with the trends in the price of Oil, IMO...

Looks like we have finally become a Silver company..... when the precious metals break out for their next solid run... we could be sitting pretty.
Gulf of Mexico is now almost all 85 degree surface water... with a band of 86 developing to the west of Mexico... just give it another 4 weeks, the Gulf of Mexico will get so warm, I'm not sure how any fish in the G.O.M. are able to survive in the shallows anymore... in fact, Reefs around the shallows of the GOM are starting to die out now... the warming trend over the past 3 years is just too much for some Reefs now...
Prepare for FIREWORKS in the precious metals and oil sector...
IMO we are looking at a better than 50% chance that the US Dollar tests support at the 85/84 line very, very soon, tests the 84/83 soon, and possibly tests the 80 level before the end of this year.

I'm not sure... but this is a potentially very huge development becuase the UAE is a confederation of several independent Arab Oil producing states....
http://encarta.msn.com/encyclopedia_761560366/United_Arab_Emirates.html
so basically, the independent states within the UAE will likely take note of what the Central Bank is doing, likely triggering wider buying by the independent states and beyond.
It looks like large portions of Petro Dollars are about to starting moving in bigger waves into the small market that is Gold... In Las Vegas, I think the analogy goes like this: "Whale about to join the table".
to me, all these Pink Sheet Stocks are all the same, IMO... they are little more than advanced shell companies...
But Shell companies to a certain degree track their underlying commodity or service... so for example, when Aluminum starts making all time record prices, Alumninum companies also increase in shareholder value, generally including the shell companies.
So, when Oil or Gold, or Silver, or Copper, or Real Estate, or any other Commodity is trading at it's all time record high, the entire sector usually gets a lift.
Big Gold News..........
The Governor of the UAE Central Bank, Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi told reporters this week that the bank was preparing to convert up to 10 per cent of its currency reserves into Gold.....
http://www.ameinfo.com/90460.html
I look at this company as little more than an advanced Shell company in a hot sector.....
sure, Moar does seem to be a Moron.... but once Oil is near $80 a bbl, a even a Chimp (or a Moron) will be able to make money in this sector, IMO.
Holy capitulations Batman... looks like the Day-Traders have bailed.
Tracking water temps... you can see the surface water temp. in the Gulf of Mexico is now all 84 degrees or above (to 85)... and there's a couple patches of 86 degree water on the west side of Mexico...
the water warming trend will generally continue to approx. mid/late August.
Crude oil rose above $73 a barrel in New York after an Energy Department report showed an unexpected decline in U.S. gasoline inventories.
``We are back in the bullish mode,'' said Tom Bentz, an oil broker with BNP Paribas Commodity Futures Inc. in New York. ``Gasoline demand is very good, which is pulling everything higher. There was talk that demand was being hurt by high prices, but the last few inventory reports have put an end to that.''

The following is the wording of the Fed statement:
"Although the moderation in the growth of aggregate demand should help to limit inflation pressures over time, the Committee judges that SOME inflation risks remain. The extent and timing of any additional firming that may be needed to address these risks will DEPEND on the evolution of the outlook for both inflation and economic growth as implied by incoming information. In any event, the Committee will respond to changes in economic prospects as needed to support the attainment of its objectives."
TRANSLATION... the FED wants to stop raising rates, but may throw out another quarter point hike to keep their appearance of being "Inflation Fighters" if the price of commodites spike again.
99% of these little Pink Sheet Oil companies have been following the price of crude... just look at the charts of a dozen or so Pink Sheet Oil companies... you can see most spiked in unison when Oil peaked near $75... and have fallen off as the price of crude has fallen off.
If Oil reaches new highs again... the activity in the Pink Sheet Oil stocks will increase noticably, IMO.

Lets see... we got the pressure on Iran starting ramp up next week... and we're going deeper into Hurricane season... and at the same time Oil seems to be coming out of a consolidation period... hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Jun 29, 2006 (AP)— The United States, Russia and other industrial democracies said Thursday they want Iran to answer "yes" or "no" next week to an international offer to bargain over Tehran's disputed nuclear program and said they are disappointed that the clerical regime has not replied by now...

Iran: Talks with the US are of no use...
"Negotiations with the United States are of no use for us. We have no use for such negotiations." he said.

My best guess is the US Dollar has nearly finished it's bounce... and is close to resuming a downward trend, although, the US Dollar may enter into a slower downward trend than we just expirenced from early April/06 to mid May/06...
IMO, the BIG BOYS used the US Dollar pause/bounce to really compound the panic in newbie investors in the Commodities sector... however, the fact remains generally that Commodities supplies world-wide are very low, with no major supplies increases seen in the near future that would dramatically alter the fundamentals... also, demand from developing nations still strong and growing.
The International Energy Agency says demand for oil remains firm even though high prices are weighing on consumption. World oil supplies rose by 445,000 bpd in May 2006 to 85m barrels. It said there was a growing demand for oil products in developing countries against a flat or declining demand in advanced industrialised countries in the OECD...

While I wont disagree that Moar has been a disappointment lately.... I think the odds are lower than 50% that Moar/FPPL would do all the work they have done over the past year just to abandon the company at this stage.
It's only projected to go CAT 1 ... but the fact remains that a CAT 1 Hurricane last year didn't form until approx. July 5 or 6.
Personally, I don't believe the media hype that storms this year won't generally be as intense as last year... just look at what happened in Austrailia this year, approx. 3 of the worst Typhoons they've had in approx. 30 years... IMO, this year could be worst than last years, excluding the N.O. flooding via Levy breakage.
The first Hurricane last year (Dennis) didn't even start until July 6/05...

Hurricane Dennis Info...
http://hurricane.accuweather.com/hurricane/pastgraphics.asp?year=2005&storm=d&ocean=atlantic
this year, we are running wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of Hurricane schedule compared to last year.
If you look at last years storm activity... timing wise, things are shaping up to be almost the same as last year...
last year, TS Arlene made landfall June 11, this year TS Alberto should make landfall June 12
http://hurricane.accuweather.com/hurricane/past.asp?partner=accuweather&ocean=atlantic&year=...
In addition to TS Alberto... Accuweather is tracking several more advancing Tropical Waves which may or may not develop further....
I don't think this storm will have much of an effect... my guess is the big shows will be late Aug and early Sept.

Geo-political analysis: the Neo-cons and the Bush Admin. probably think that taking out Zarqawi builds their credibility and makes making moves on Iran with sanctions more easily sellable to the American voters and UN members... watch the Iran rederick ramp-up over the next few weeks.
