Jax, best of luck to you. You and Justavoice were great, both of you are gentlemen whom I appreciate and respect.
So have I. Case in point was CEMJQ where strategic value partners bought in big, then highjacked the equity committee to screw themselves and all the rest of us shareholders. It happens.
I got a nice doubledown load here over the last few days and in late Oct. This is looking to be a nice elevator ride on this one.
Tob,
Yes that's a good thing. I meant to say late september rather than october. At that time it had a couple of down days followed by some big green candles upward.
Chart looks a lot like it did in Late October to me.
Yes it possible, but Chemtura will not have to pay for it, whoever files that suit is responsible for paying the legal costs. A district court can reverse any and every ruling of an inferior bankruptcy court. An example where this happened is Lowe vs. Antelope Technologies.

Don't know, but I picked up another 100K shares at .037. if it goes lower than that I'll get some more.
Unfortunately for Craig, you can't buy a good heart or a good name. Both are worth more than money.

Interesting. An international buyer? Wonder what could motivate them if the 8K is anywhere near correct.
maybe we should create a pool for Rogerson to draw from when he finds a place to buy himself a conscience.
I saw that. They filed it yesterday (Sunday), so it's not fed through to brokerage accounts and news services yet.
I'm not finding that published anywhere. Where did you get that?
PBC is a great one, and we forgot Maro too!
I wonder who reciful was. I wonder if that was Rogerson.
Well, with all the volume and velocity of it, I am sure some of it will hit "the fan" soon! See ya on the other side! I am sure they made the quarterly look as bad as they could, and there were some exceptional in this years economy that probably hit 3q and won't affect it much in the future. Hopefully we get exchanged for stock and can see some reward for our trust and faith in our justice system and the integrity of the CEM management team. If we don't I suspect there may be reverberations heard in other courtrooms and in legislative action spurred by it in the future.
That's awesome. I admire your memory...all those guys were great and my regards to them as well.
Key thing to me is that the down movement is on low volume. That means its just shaking out the weak ones, and that will be a good thing for longs in the long run because it is nothing more than healthy consolidation.
That's a fact Catdaddy...forgot to mention you but I have really appreciated your perspective too! I'm still in BTW.
This thing runs with just a little gentle spanking. It'll run like a scalded dog when volume comes, and it will if there's beef in that pattie the've been cookin' on the grill.
OTCBBK, can't PM, but thanks. I spanked it very gently this am.
Chemturas plan can take effect Nov 8.

My guess is somebody in control wants capital gains treatment:)
RJ & G2, Belgian, PeterS, Roy...guys, it has been a pleasure interacting with you on this board. What a ride this has been so far, hope the fat lady does not sing too long...anxious to see what happens post bk!
I sure don't want the cash. Don't understand someone unloading that many shares at that price either. Someone was certainly willing to sop them up at that price-which I do understand.
Correct. Sorry, I was having problems with my web browser. Posts didn't appear to be going through but finally did.
Chickenvestor is probably right, we should be somewhere north of $0.70 at least and maybe significantly more when we emerge. Since the deed is done, I hope it happens soon and the shares are exchanged soon.
Gerbers finding of law posted. Cramdown in effect. Next hearing, December 7. FDR had a name for that day.
Judges finding of fact on the case filed today.
Dec 7, next hearing day. FDR had a name for that date.
By the way, I am happy with my 6.5 Million shares of MDGC, and I expect great things to come. When I buy like this my goal is to hold for capital gains treatment and beyond. Low price days are buying opportunities.
The strongest oak was once just a little nut that held its ground.
"Paul Allen and Bill Gates (respectively) on October 19, 1981 in a sea of PCs after signing a pivotal contract. IBM called Microsoft in July 1980 inquiring about programming languages for its upcoming PC line;[1] after failed negotiations with another company, IBM gave Microsoft a contract to develop the OS for the new line of PCs.[2]"
Gates is worth $54 billion now. It's not where you've been, but where you are going that matters. Where are you going today Beach?
Just,
I appreciate you and all the ones you mentioned, but I also want to thank you for all you have done as moderator here in the last days. I learned a lot from all of you, I appreciate all the efforts of everyone.
To Jax, MC, WS and others, I can understand they would like to detach from CEMJQ after plowing so much into it, and wish all of them peace and prosperity in their future endeavors.
Right or wrong we are all masters of our own ship, those of us who chose to ride in our barrel over the waterfall really can't know where we will end up on the wealth-wisdom scale.
"The time to guard against corruption and tyranny, is before they shall have gotten hold on us. It is better to keep the wolf out of the fold, than to trust to drawing his teeth and talons after he shall have entered."
"Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
Thomas Jefferson
The main thing I have learned here is how important the quality of character in those who are given the power of governance is. One day, I hope that this thievery is punished by the law instead of enabled by it, and that some of these guys get to be the "poster child" for their brethren one day. Otherwise, behavior that is rewarded will be repeated.
Jefferson also had some interesting quotes on exercise that all should google up and read as well.

I think it was about making sure the hogs got fed before the election, certain people can get their payoffs in time. I'm afraid our government has become that corrupt.
Wow! A whole 9600 shares short, according to Shortsqueeze.com!

MC, I can't PM you here, but I think you remember me. I was wondering if you would grant me access to your blog on CEMJQ.
We need to find Alotta Fagina and ask her!
Can't PM, but the answer to the first part of your question is yes.
There is no honor in what his honor did, I am afraid.
He is lower than a rat. We all reap what we sow one day, and he is no different. He;s got a lot of enemies now, and some of them are indirecty his customers..and not small ones. I still came out ok, at today's price it's still a 10 bagger for me. I still can't beleive that judge was so easily hoodwinked into letting management and bondholders steal $300 million in stockholders equity. In time, we may find out they can't get away with it though.
I see that! I'm already green over here, and today was good day to build up my position. They need to do some ads on this windmill in the Lubbock Avalanche Journal in Lubbock Tx. The high plains lives on irrigation, and with energy prices what they are and will become, this could mean survival for some out there.
There are a lot of shallow stripper oil wells wells around that part of the world that could benefit from this technology too.
I had no problem buying at the bid and also spanked the ask successfully with some 500K block buys earlier today at and under .005, but clealy the tide has turned this afternoon and it is on its way up now, so you better keep spanking it in the ask if you want those shares. I would not be surprised if we never saw those cheap prices again. If anyone is shorting, they might be in for a squeeze.
Yep. Maybe that's why there's been a strong demand in the water business today.

You have my respect. GL to you and with your skills, I am sure you can make it back in time to make some coin soon. I think some big green candles are about to be lit here soon, but there could be some gap fills for you down the road when you are ready.
