it did but where is the volume? smart money not interested in the up-move hence the low volume
I've seen some strong buy recommendations at different sites too. but the only thing bnvi.pk does is tank tank tank.
We're pretty much down to the earnings aanouncemwnr at this stage wouldn't you say MM?
Lets hope the dont skrew that up as much as they been skrewing investors these past few days.
think we can assume no partners
an update on the 12 week trial I would "assume" is to early to expect.
a good partner announcement would be good just about now...
MM... got this reply from Bionovo earlier today:
"Bionovo will continue to be listed on NASDAQ until February 17. It may
already be trading on an OTC exchange as well.
Thank you.
David Boyle
SVP and CFO
Bionovo, Inc."
it's still listed on Nas but from the looks of it trades on OTCQB. I don't get this reply and am hoping you could help clarify if they can trade on Nas and on the OTCQB at the same time...
yeah the writing's all over the wall!! LOL just out of curiosity though... where is the very very very strong news?
MM... these guys just continue to ta their investors for a ride. but they did release some nice fluffy new today and nothing about the fact that they no longer are on the big board... just 10 days ahead of plan... not that it matters since the pillage and r*pe at every corner.
Good luck getting your play money back if you're stuck in this bleeding pig
NASDAQ Real Time quotes are not available for OTCBB or OTC stocks
is BNVI already off Nasdaq?
did a search on Yahoo finance and this is what came up: http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=bnvi&ql=1
we shall c. would be a ncie end to the NAS era. GLTY :)
the only fundamental here is that they are in PIII. then you have the fact that they have no $$$ and voluntary delisted themselves 1 month ahead of the less than voluntary delisting.
saying that the NAS fees are chewing their pockets is plain silly. just another way of sayin you've made a good investment while being stuck in a bad trade.
we'll see if we'll get a pop here again before they move to OTC
im not an investor. I trade em when i see a potential. they f'ed up a swing trade
it has been expected and talked about for several years and yet to materialize. don't hold your breath for this to happen any time soon
to finish the PIII and file the NDA
it takes plenty of cash to get a drug to market and this is 1 thing this company does not have. (go to their www and listen to the latest cc)
it may be the best thing since sliced bread but these folks haven't got the $$$ to finish the trials and file the NDA
they do have plenty of stock to sell so lets start selling new stock.
they need between 50-80MM as they said during one cc.
that biotechs need $$ is no surprise.
Nas listing fees is a drop in the ocean when lookin at the bigger picture
my point is that their voluntary delisting was plainly for show.
its in the interest of the financiers to get the pps as low as possible to get as many shares as possible for the money that they gave bionovo. jmo
they need (and the have known this for a good while) over 50MM dollars but yet they only go for 5MM earlier in Jan. where's the logic in that??
then they fall on the sword and do a voluntary delist from the Nas but it was not so voluntary as they were going to be kicked out of the Nas either way. where's the logic in that?
no confirmation. the only thing confirmed is a 50% PPS decrease since last friday thanks to the bozos in the exec suite
lets see if 2morrow confirms it
i just think they should have done nothing if they intended to go OTC
so they chose to do what was a fact if they had not gone through with an R/S
sort of done nothing but they decided to do something equally bad as an R/S. the stock would have tanked doing that too. they could have just let it alone
there's nothing voluntary about this delist. it was a fact! but these jokers decided to "voluntarily" delist themselves as if they had a f'in choice
lookin uggly. very uggly
with the help of BNVI itself.
here's the PR:
"Bionovo Inc announced that on January 26, 2012, its Board of Directors decided to seek a voluntary delisting from the NASDAQ Capital Market (NASDAQ). The Company intends to file a Form 25 with the SEC on February 7, 2012 to commence the NASDAQ delisting process. It is expected that the delisting will take effect as of the close of trading in New York, N.Y, on February 17, 2012. Following delisting, Bionovo's common stock will no longer trade on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the symbol BNVI."
it does not say that it will not seek delisting if the PPS gets above $1 before the 17th of Feb.
has anybody figured out why the self delist 1 month ahead of the mandatory delisting?! I'm not getting that move
calling IR has yet to leave me with a "that was a really informative answer from this company..." hasn't yet happened...
well they didn't want the price to run so when it started tehy slashed it by announcing VOLUNTARY delisting 1. hmm weren't they supposed to be delisted either way?!
smart move by greedy MFs
have you contacted the company?
I think, correct me if I'm wrong D-man (cant remember your alias), he meant that the upswing in PPS and volume pre-news of voluntary delisting was a distribution? just a wild guess.
I did see some weakness in the background when checking the chart before it started the short but nice upswing leading to Friday but it was worth the gamble and the gamble paid off. I was however hoping for a bit more continuation than the drop AH Friday and this week.
I'm well aware of that too
Frankly. I doubt management and the BOD thinks about their share price as a short term play. this was coming and instead of having the delist imposed on them they wanted to be proactive and remove themselves from the big board. guessing it was a better of 2 evils approach.
shareholders and traders wanted the final POP before the delist and we did not get it hence we be mad at them.
what is strange is that they did this 1 month prior to what we all new would come and expected. they acted very irrational
all this experience and yet they kill momo
management did a major f up that's for sure
yesterdays sell off was absorbed and todays action tells that there is little interest in further the sell off from yesterday.
look at volume and price action. not many sellers out today.
If the well planned news hadn't been released last Friday we would not be sitting here discussing 0,17 dollar close today. however management felt it better to trash their own investors and kill the up move
a moronic decision
are they planning on going private? management buy out? just a thought
you make no sense MM. it's like you've been reading Chinese proverbs or something. LOL
