One of the ways the virus works is by taking a name from someones address book and sending itself out as that person.
So from what you wrote - it appears your e-mail address is in someones address book (mmmary comes to mind, LOL) and that person's computer is infected and sending itself out to people in that person's address book as if coming from you.
You would get the failed messages or returned mail. Fun stuff, eh?
Yo - wantobe - Fryday begins promptly at 11:30. I was busy last week when Matt gave the shout - so AK filled in with bluesman (may he rest in peace) during my absence.

In my acceptance speech for this glorious honor I wish to give thanks to Susie and Ron for showing me the way.
Thanks guys.
Hey Ron - you catching on yet?

He is in Jail. In fact right about now Churak is handing him the soap for the showers.
In jail he only has 3 posts. He has used those up today. Tomorrow he can post 3 more times, and 3 each day until he is released. He can send private messages to Matt or Bob only and can plea his way out.
If indeed what he was saying is true, I don't see him staying here long, in other words a short_haul. LOL
I see - thanks
Hey Long_haul
I'm confused. You stated the deleted post was meant for another board, but yet in your short 2 weeks of postig you have never posted on another board.
Hey Chu - this gotmilk "person" might not be that bad. I just did a google search on "gotmilk" and wow did my eyes open.

OT: In an effort to attempt to increase my score. Here is a true scam from lifesajoke.com
"THE PERFECT SCAM
Australian Police have been unable to recommend a prosecution for the following scam:
A company takes out a newspaper advertisement claiming to be able to supply imported hard core pornographic videos. As their prices seem reasonable, people place orders and make payments via check.
After several weeks, the company writes back explaining that under the present law they are unable to supply the materials and do not wish to be prosecuted. So they return their customers' money in the form of a company check.
However, due to the name of the company, few people will present these checks to their banks. The name of the company: "The Anal Sex and Fetish Perversion Company."

oh I see
Of course, market savy translates into money. Money is more important than some lust - just ask Jimmy Carter. LOL

Well in searching for the conversion info. I noticed this.
In June 2000 JE steps down.
"Jacques Elfersy has announced his intention to semi-retire from both Bioshield
Technologies, Inc. and EMD.com (Electronic Medical Distribution, Inc.), thus
tendering his resignation as an officer of both companies. Mr. Elfersy plans to

Well that same month the death spiral with Hicks was signed.
And here is that conversion info you wanted, as taken from the 8-K
On June 14, 2000, the Company completed a financing with private
investors in which the Company issued $10 million principal amount of Series B
Convertible Preferred Stock (the "Series B Preferred"), and entered into a
equity financing agreement (the "Equity Line Agreement") under which the Company
may cause the investor to purchase up to $50 million of the Company's common
stock.
The Series B Preferred is convertible into common stock until June 14,
2003, at the option of the holder, at a conversion price equal to the "market
conversion price," but the conversion price will not exceed $19.70. The market
conversion price is defined to mean 90% of the average of the closing bid and
ask prices of the Company's Common Stock during any three trading days during
the ten consecutive trading days immediately prior to the conversion date. The
Series B Preferred is redeemable at the Company's option beginning on the
earlier to occur of ninety days following the issue date or the date that the
Series B Registration Statement (as herein defined) becomes effective with the
SEC at a price of 125% of its principal amount. In connection with the issuance
of the Series B Preferred, we issued warrants (the "Series B Warrants") to the
investor to purchase an aggregate of 79,281 shares of common stock at the option
of the holder until June 14, 2005, at an exercise price of $18.92 per share,
subject to adjustment under certain circumstances. Under the terms of the
private placement agreements governing the issuance of the Series B Preferred,
we are required to file a registration statement (the Series B Registration
Statement") with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") to register
for resale up to 1,500,000 shares of common stock issuable upon conversion of
the Series B Preferred Stock and the Series B Warrants.
Pursuant to the Equity Line Agreement, we are required to file a
registration statement with the SEC (the "Equity Line Registration Statement")
covering 6,666,667 shares of common stock. The investor has agreed to purchase
our common stock during the 24-month period commencing on the date of
effectiveness of the Equity Line Registration Statement in accordance with the
Equity Line Agreement. From time to time during the term of the Equity Line
Agreement, but no more frequently than once every 15 trading days, we can
require the investor to purchase our common stock in a minimum amount of
$250,000 and a maximum of the lesser of $5,000,000 or 150% of the average daily
trading volume for the prior twenty trading days, until all the purchases total
$50,000,000. The purchase price for each share will equal 90% of the average of
the closing bid and ask prices of the Company's Common Stock during any three
trading days during the ten consecutive trading days immediately prior to the
closing of such purchase. The investor's obligation to purchase shares of our
common stock is subject to a number of conditions, including requirements
relating to minimum volume and bid price of our common stock. In connection with
the Equity Line Agreement, we issued warrants to the investor to purchase an
aggregate of 250,000 shares of common stock at the option of the holder until
June 14, 2005, at an exercise price of $18.92 per share, subject to adjustment
under certain circumstances.
The investors in the Series B Preferred and under the Equity Line
Agreement are subject to certain volume restrictions regarding the resale of
the Company's common stock.

You're probably right. Odd thing is, I don't believe Bankone does business in Georgia. I searched their web site when the case first appeared and saw that they only had branches in these states.

"Personaly (sic) I dont (sic) understand the Hicks and reverse problem either..."
NoMo attempted to explain this to you on several occasions.
but I'll put that aside for just a second.
You are a common shareholder - correct?
Hicks is a preferred shareholder - correct?
Do you give a "hoot" about his shares?
I will surmise he doesn't care squat about you. In fact Hicks could give a shit about you or what you want. See he wants to continue to fuck the common shareholder - that is you, by the way.
If you vote for the reverse split - you will have less shares but technically at the same value, but just for the moment. Then more shares get issued and your value diluted as the price goes down again.
Hicks can short the stock in anticipation of receiving those shares, as he has done for years. See he has his cake and is eating it to. He wants more cake and he wants to continue to eat it and you want to help him, by not understanding this?
The common shareholder's interest runs contrary to the preferred shareholder. Issue not more shares and Hick's can't be paid, what is the difficulty in understanding that? lol

ATLANTA – Biopharmaceutical company Nova BioGenetics has named Cecil Smith as its new chief executive officer.
Smith replaces Tim Moses, the founder of Nova BioGenetics who stepped down as CEO, as the company announced July 15.
Moses, who is still chairman and director of public services, vacated the post so that a new CEO could be found, the company said at the time.
Smith is an expert in microbial decontamination strategies and biosafety. He has conducted research in the areas of antibiotic resistance and microbial adaptation, as well as managing clinical trials.
One of Smith’s principal roles at Nova BioGenetics will be to extend the spectrum of molecules in the company’s antibiotic resistance portfolio.

Attaching the patented technology with antibiotic compounds has proven to facilitate potential disruption of bacterial agents thus producing new therapeutic agents to be marketed.
While Nova BioGenetics is specifically focused on its biopharmaceutical interests and is presently in a development stage, it also operates a division within the company that is responsible for the sale of patented and EPA approved antimicrobials and biocides.
Currently, Nova BioGenetics has contracted with eight specialty chemical representative agencies, with over 63 sales agents in the U.S. to market its diverse line of products for that division.
Nova BioGenetics, says continued expansion, particularly in the overseas markets, is part of the company's current marketing strategy.

BB/BB
Let me address your post in reverse.
"Board has been very quiet recently since the SEC has raised its ugly head again...anyone getting phone calls from our federal agency....?????
Several reasons exist for this board being quiet.
1. Irv died.
2. NoMo, although he still owns over 400K+ in shares is busy with school.
3. I have more important things to do in my life and do not have the time to devote to this stock like I had in the past. I use to be able to do searches on yahoo and find hits and post them. Well today I had a second and did that with Nova and found the link to "thecarycompany". 10 minutes after that my daughter's day camp called and said she hurt her eye. I had to pick her up and take her to the doctor's office. She has a 2mm scratch from a stick and when you're 5 it hurts. My wife is on business travel and I have my hands full with the dual roles of mom and dad.
But BB/BB I'll tell you, Irv was probably the main reason I posted as much as I did. When he was feeling well I would talk to him every day. His interest and desire to find answers and deal with issues regarding this company was a catalyst to my posting.
I have not talked to the SEC since the day I called them regarding the Ihub subpoena.
Regarding the recent filing in N.D. Illinois, which you refer to as "SEC has raised its ugly head again" it appears the SEC is interested in a customer of IBCL and is using the IBCL case to "attempt" to obtain financial information. But you knew that because cbeemer told you.
"financial records pursuant to customer challenge provisions of the right to Financial Privacy Act of 1978."
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=IBCL&read=13903
So I don't see that case really involving IBCL or Moses.
Now to the first part:
"Reverse split...no split...
What is the big deal one way or the other????.....
BB/BB, I respect you and your opinion. Some days I feel the same - could give a shit, wrote off the money long time ago. However, other days I feel different. If we all have that "I don't give shit attitude" then surely the reverse split with pass and we're fucked. We have a chance to salvage what is left and with a prayer and some hope, may be some thing will come of it. But to just give up and concede defeat is not my style. Of course then your post may just be a big ruse to get me going again. LOL
I spoke with Moses last week and normally I would post that, but I haven't had the time. I asked him to have Jerry Smith call me and gave him my cell phone number, but to date he has not called. That disappoints me, but I'll deal with it and try again. However, I was encouraged to see the relationship between thecarycompany and Nova, so hopefully I will get to speak to him shortly.
I have to run, need to go to CVS and pick up a script for my daughter. Take it easy Larry.

"I don't understand is why REDUCING the number of shares (via the reverse split) is necessary."
Ok - let me take another shot at this.
1. Hicks has preferred shares, some 11 million worth or some thing in that neighborhood.
2. According to the agreement Hicks can convert those preferred shares to common shares so he can "sell" them and recoup his investment. The conversion is in the agreement and uses some formula.
3. IBCL is authorized to have 100 million shares outstanding.
4. IBCL has issued all 100 million shares.
5. IBCL has no more shares to issue and hence can not convert Hick's preferred shares to common.
6. IBCL needs to do a reverse stock split so it can get under the 100 million authorized and once again issue more shares so Hicks can convert preferred shares to common shares.
Obviously number 6 is the reason, and 1 thru 5 support it or provide the basis.
However, and here is the catch. In order for IBCL to do a reverse split it has to be approved by the shareholders of those 100 million. If a majority vote no, then in effect Hick's is stuck.
Does that explain it?
Lost
"How did you find that?"
Go to google.com and enter "Nova BioGenetics"

Technically both forms of Internet access are DSL. (Digital Subscriber Line)
That is DSL over the phone line and DSL over the cable.
However, the difference lies here. Your phone line is your phone line, you do not share it with any one else. Hence, in theory your up stream and down stream speed should be the same. But with cable you are using a service that others use as well. In other words you co-exist with those folks in your neighborhood using the sane service. As the amount of users increase the speed of data traveling will bottle neck and you can experience slowness that is a direct result of sharing as opposed to being a sole user.

You are not alone.
I suppose you have heard that those who have difficulty digesting milk are labeled lactose intolerant?
Well those of us who have difficulty digesting "gotmilk's" posts are gotmilk intolerant. LOL
Nova also appears as a new company in Oncology's Knowledgebase at this site:
http://oncologyknowledgebase.com/updates/companyJun03.html
Interesting find.
Take a look at this web site, third row, right of center Nova's logo appears.

It seems they have a sales/distribution relationship with Nova BioGenetics.
Also on this page Nova shows up under Chemical Div.

Hick's shares are preferred shares and not common shares and hence would not be subject to the reverse split.
The reverse split is necessary so Hick's preferred shares can be converted to common because we are at our limit of 100 million authorized shares. However, we shareholders (of common shares) get to vote on that issue.
