No sweat, Dread - that was all in fun. I will try to keep the plant jokes to a minimum. Just trying to branch out a little...
*delicately tip toeing out the door*

I am a huge fan of Warren, and I am having "brushes with greatness" moments simply due to the fact that I have semi-conversed with you on this board. Thanks Artguy!!
I believe you are who you say you are, and those critics who have nothing better to do while waiting for Torvec tech to either sink into the dirt or to fly among the clouds can simply squawk somewhere else where the real Yahoos hang out.
A little OT:
Artguy, are/were involved with the Genesee Co-op of old? I used to have a coffee house there, and knowing you are an artist you may have had some exposure. There was also a pottery studio, photo studio, small grocery downstairs and a little groovy store. The coffee house was back in the early 90s. We called it the Sunken Room Coffeehouse. Any memories? I never booked Warren there, but I did have Ani DeFranco before she got big (I actually opened up for her that night - a story for another time...). Good days, those...
Meanwhile, I am going to branch out and see where else I may put my roots down.
And can I PLEASE get some fresh dirt over here...?
-Neb
Thanks, Dread, it's nice to have fronds...
Um, "pinetardyna" called me a "plant" over there on the Yahoo board which I thought all intelligent life forms avoided in most recent days. I am confused. I was going to respond, but then I just reread the first line...
Well, I would hang out and chat a bit, but I have to go photosynthesize. I haven't eaten all day. Like, so I'll just leaf you guys alone for now.
Heh.
Stupid cell wall...
And to you, KingArthur, have a great holiday, as well. I will sit with you at the Round Table, but I will have to leave my sword and chain mail at home, as I know all your knights will be wearing Frisker Pros...
And let's also thank those who are not in the armed forces who continue to work for freedom, liberty and the right to enjoy them both. I am not a veteran, although many in my family are. I know that I have the same respect for the Framers of the Constitution and the Founders of the nation we enjoy as any person in the military, and I stand beside you with pride. Please, let us all be vigilant, and let us not allow ANYONE to disrespect that which our founders, framers and soldiers fought so hard to achieve. It is difficult to maintain, yet easy to destroy. Do not let anyone tell you freedom is something other than a basic human right that requires constant maintenance and protection.
Thank you to all who have given me this beautiful country to live in - I owe you all my life.

This poster is not being truthful in ANY way. There IS a CEO for now. Look at the web site for distribution channel partners. Look at all the PRs that have been put out. There is no factual basis for this poster's comments.
Please, moderator, look at this poster's history and do what is best for iHub and its investing public.
Thanks.
-Neb
Yes, can we? How incredibly annoying.
-Neb
Who IS this? What an obvious basher. CEO stepped down short time ago. Search for new on is on. their headquarters is a small office, but an office just the same.
Why is it that you would not want to HELP them succeed?
I just don't get these people sometimes.
Go away, loser. Go beat on some other thing that you may or may not have.
Oh, and have a nice day.
Patience will reward!
-Neb
Speaking of which, another Lowman pick is doing quite well - good news for CTUM. The guy is no crook. It is the crooks that follow him and play his picks to the ground. Strangely enough, quality companies are resilient to this and will rise to the top regardless of the bashers and the MM scumbags.
Although I ALWAYS do my own DD, thanks to Lowman for the suggested starting points. I have enjoyed your insight, your candor, your humor, and your ability to say you are wrong when you are wrong, and to hold tight to your perspective when you are right. Let the sheep flock as they may, you are solid in my book.
GLTAL - WRNW and CTUM
-Neb
"Think big people". Do you mean, like, Sumo wrestlers...?
OK, that was some quick humor to boost the share price.
I agree, Newspeed, and I think all this wonderful quiet has been for absolutely great reasons. As I have always thought, and recently said here, the slow careful pace with little fanfare is the company I want to stand behind and be a part of. No hype, no ridiculous PRs, and few people posting that are not truly interested in the engineering itself. A true Rochester company - quiet and professional. Just the way it should be.
OT - And I must tell you Newspeed, I totally dig your handle - I was a bit late but caught 'em in the 80s. Many shows - many states - many beautiful times blowing off classes at the U of R...
We will see green very soon - both for the Earth and for Torvec. I am patiently waiting.
-Neb
Sweet! My Scottrade account shows an increase in share price of INFINITY!!!
Finally I have arrived.
I wonder how I cash out with my infinite profits. Is there a savings account big enough for me?
-Neb
Nice one!
Everybody please have a very SAFE and a very HAPPY holiday!
Again, thanks to you all for the great informational posts throughout the past many years, here and elsewhere, and for your support of Torvec. We will get there and the world will be much better for it.
As green as we can get it, friends.
-Neb
OK, so a sandwich walks into a bar and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve food here."
Sheesh - like I really need my day job?
That ought to bring it up a half a mil...
-Neb
I have a quarter of one mil and will add to make a half a mil. You can be SURE I will not be letting them go. If I am to make it into KA's math class, I must prove my worthiness: If I will own half of one million, that leaves 99 and 1/2 million left. Many on this board talk of million(s) of shares, so I would guess that there are less than 200 other shareholders (and that it on the high side). So the volumes we are seeing can not be from myself and the other 200 selling or trading as the price is simply going down. I smell fish. Lots of it. Rotting.
Longs will win. No way around it. Let 'em tank it for now. No emotion required. Patience, my friends.
So, King, can I join the 101 class? Huh? Huh? can I? huh?
Pleeeeeeeeeese?....
-Neb
Hey - me too!
And strangely enough, my percent gain is "infinity"!!! I had no idea I could be so successful...
Nyah nyah - my zero is bigger than YOUR zero....!!!
lol
Yup - same here. My million is worth 0. What do you want from a crook's company. Lotto play for certain, but the odds of winning the state lotto is far greater than ever seeing value in this "company"...
I wonder if the lobbying effort would help them. I know from the many posts regarding the initiatives of the Federal and State governments (mostly Federal recently) that when the government is ready to spend money on something, those who are "in their face" usually get the funding. I am not saying that this method is good or particularly ethical, but perhaps it would be useful to up the amount tendered toward that part.
I found this site stating the amount of the lobbying effort. I am not sure of its authenticity, but it looked interesting and potentially legit. Does anyone know if that is real and if the amount of expenditure toward lobbying is in any way attached to the attention we are/could be getting?
Sometimes lobbying does not fit with the style of operation, which is likely our case, but it seems that throwing money at American Continental Group to do it for us may not be such a bad idea (assuming THEY are any good...). I see we are at the low end of the scale, assuming that this is legitimate information.
Hmmm - so many assumptions in this post - don't say it - I know... ;)

Slow and steady wins the race. Quality takes time. I agree - once a real value is discovered in Torvec that price to buy goes way up.
I remember a particular "survey" that indicated the concept. While I see other companies using these kinds of tactics to emotionally pump their share price, I see Torvec asking the questions based on something real that maybe we as shareholders are not privy to. Saying things like $50 minimum, etc. may not be as realistic a number as I would like, but on the flip side it may very well be. Based on their currently undiscovered intrinsic value, in time it may be even more.
I have yet to see any of the Gleasmans tout something that isn't at least close to reality, and I have NEVER seen them being deceitful. Upon this I base my desire to continue holding with no worries when the share price dips.
Good Evening Lhasa!
Indeed again I post that my home is up a bit on the map, but from your perspective I would bet it may not be a whole lot different...
I spent some time in Jersey City - helped with an access control system install. Building access, parking access and revenue control. Three days, evenings, nights, late nights and early mornings of the most powerful annoyance ever. I trust your friend's experiences differ...
Never been over there, Lhasa, but one day I am sure I will. Hit Nova Scotia for a couple weeks - camped on Cape Breton with my dog, but that's as close as I ever got...and...yes, I know it's actually New Scotland, but I suppose across the pond could mean an assortment of places... ;)
Thanks again for your contributions to this board - I have enjoyed reading your posts since the Yahoo days...
-Neb
Nice to be aboard, Leitrim.
And, before I forget, thanks to the moderator of iHub for giving me a couple weeks with some fine privileges. I bet he snags my Visa before long...
Oh, and so you know Leitrim, I was quite taken aback when you referred to me as an "out of towner". I mean, I know I have actually developed a bit of a Jersey accent, but I didn't think it really showed... ;)
I did not explain well - I actually only moved here a couple years ago, so I am actually a home boy far from home...
I am looking at the share price drop as well, but for my limited resources this is a good accumulation time for me. I have been watching the company for many years, but have owned a part for only few.
An analogy for the current moment in the life of Nebulae:
I was busy cursing Matt for not allowing me to respond in a timely fashion to those that welcomed me (really, Matt, I wasn't using any really bad words...) as I had used up my three posts and the "promotional offering" period had not kicked in as my instant-gratification loving heart had hoped. So as I was contemplating how to burst on the scene in the morning (with the knowledge that I would have a minimum of three posts and the possibility that I would have even more) I thought that my responses to the "I can't answer because I am over my limit" crew would be a quality answer that comes a little later than expected, or maybe even desired. I planned my "product" to be quality prose with achievable thought patterns and general positive thinking. I knew that the quality to give that as a response would take planning and time - more that I would anticipate, but on target with the quality required to place it in the correct hands...
Geee...um...I wonder who that resembles?
So there you go. I am not afraid. I don't have to be an engineer to understand the human factors of this company. Pull it off with quality when it is the right time to do so.
For real - you guys should know that the postings of your analysis and understanding of the Torvec technology, and the competitor's as well, has really helped give me insight, and many times the additional industry information was a launching point of further research. Thanks for that.
So yes, Leitrim, it is really cool to be here.
-Neb
Thanks, Dread - I am in the northern part of the state, so it is minimally like the stereotypical Jersey promise - a strip mall in every backyard, and some litter to keep it interesting...
I shouldn't slam the place, as not all of Jersey is like that. Quite frankly, I was surprised at the amount of the state that is tolerable. Some very nice people, great restaurants, easy access to little towns like, say, New York City, and plenty of musical opportunities. Just the same - it ain't the Finger Lakes...
I find it amusing that I am even here. Since I can remember, people used to slam Rochester for this or that - too much snow, not enough sun, etc. - but when they moved away they always came back eventually. I, and many others, took note of that and it was always pointed out that people from Rochester always stayed or eventually returned. This continued to be true through my college days - many friends from my alma mater have moved/returned/stayed in Rochester. Interesting phenomenon. And because I know this as an unproven non-scientific fact *ahem* I am confident that I will return. Unfortunately, employment brought me here, as the home team is a little crowded, and the ballpark is growing smaller (or so it seems) as far as opportunities for IT trainer types, therefore I stick it out here in the Garden State until such time as my Torvec investment matures...
Thanks, I feel better already.
I'm OK...you're OK...I'm OK...
Good Day All!
I am posting for the first time here on iHub (they forced me - I want to try the premium level...)
I have been a follower of Torvec for quite a few years now, and I have enjoyed learning, watching and investing in this company. I currently enjoy a relatively small holding, and I am quite comfortable with that, although the past few weeks has sparked an interest in buying more. I am a Rochester native living in NJ for the past couple years, but home is where my heart is and that is where some of the finest companies come from. The entrepreneurial spirit of the Finger Lakes is something I personally love, and I have had a couple ventures of my own (mostly failures - but isn't that what business is all about?) and I am looking forward to the time I return to try again.
Enough about me - this company has been doing things the right way, in my opinion - slowly, carefully and with a large quantity of intellect and NO persuasion by bashers and other manipulative parties. This is respectable and really shows the kind of quality and strength that these guys maintain in all their business dealings. A typical Rochester company - quiet, steady and eventually very successful. I am counting on it, as are the rest of the shareholders.
I have been enjoying all the banter from ArtGuy, NewSpeedwayBoogieXX, Torvecian, and the other regulars who enjoy posting relevent facts and speculations that are not designed with deceit in mind. (Don't mean to leave anyone out - just the first few that came to mind...) Many other boards that I have in my favorites are ripe with deceit and manipulative postings. You guys are top drawer, and I appreciate your contributions. Again, typical Rochestarians.
So, here I am - exposed and ready to try the premium features for a couple weeks. Maybe after that they will convince me to subscribe and you will all have to put up with my incessant drivel on a daily basis...
Good luck to all investors in Torvec, and having read about Tor Acres so many times, you can count on me at least driving by to wave and cheer. Perhaps my section will be a bit smaller than any of yours, but you can be sure I will be up to see it.
And, of course, I will be driving a Koenigsegg...
