too late now unless they are deep in the money... it will take a lot for $5 puts to double in value from here because of compression. Course I bought all my $5's under $1.20
I mean suspension could put it under $3 but it could also be halted till puts expire. It would suck to be totally right AND lose money.
see, I don't care if others fall for hype or bashing. I came here for info and added my observations. If others appreciate them, great. if they point out something I missed even better.

It got close to $6 like I said yesterday. It bounced. It is back under $7 and will go under $6 today unless there is substantial good news or a momo group parades through.
Trust me on this - if you think everyone that says something negative about a stock is shorting it, you are wrong. Now I did buy puts whch are sort of the same thing, but mostly there are just people that hate to see hypesters fleece investors.

Reports that $SRNE has something against Covid will gun the stock, please be careful.. very small cap
He said look, don't touch.
where did someone say 'mouth tablet'? I'll add more puts if I see that. The digestive system would denature antibodies and it would be an expansive protein pill.
Earlier it was stated to be one antibody in a cocktail. Finding and then cultivating a good monoclonal antibody is a huge success, but finding the rest of them for a cocktail is a tall hill to climb. There will be some value then.
IF and when they have a cocktail, then Phase I will see if there are serious side-effects. People could have an immuno-response against the mAb. If that is at least safe, then there will be a risk/reward play on Phase II.
Meanwhile the CEO is saying it's an alternative to vaccines but anti-vax is fundamentally about not injecting any of these things so he is hyping to a base without understanding them.
level 2 keeps showing 50K (500 lot) asks then taking them away. Not getting filled, just there for a while and then gone.
why? Mild support at $6.70 is now resistance and there is no good support over $3.
no arguement there as long as I can close out my puts first. Looks like any price under $5 hits my sell target.
someone just dropped $20K on June 19 $18 calls.
admittedly the surge this morning made me average down on the puts.
Nest support is $4.70~$5.30 and that is weak. $3 by Friday, dips and bounces...
It will be worth $24 in time, after trials. Not today. Not this month.
$7 support crumbled. Thought there might be some at $6.50, but no.
no more so than cheerleading is...
close around $6 today and $5 puts will be in the money tomorrow...
There is a little support at $7 from yesterday, but not really.
nothing against the company but the spikes on hype and hope are so predictable.
June 19th $5 puts. Nuff said.
6. Common Stock
On January 17, 2020, the Company entered into a definitive common stock purchase agreement (the “Agreement”) with XianChang Ma. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, Mr. Ma purchased 150,000 shares of the Company’s common stock at $4.00 per share, representing approximately 4% of the outstanding shares of the Company at the time of purchase. The Company received the $600,000 purchase price in full and recorded it as Subscribed Stock as of February 29, 2020. As of February 29, 2020, the 150,000 shares have not been issued.
I was concerned that he might have backed out. He did not and he paid well over market than. March - May quarter is 'unpredictable' as they said, but I see this going north of 4 later this year.
people are selling non-movers to buy 30-50% off sales on operating companies. As a shell, it was reasonable to sell down to cash value. With this deal, probably not.
J.R Simplot, an Agri-business, owns 36.4%??
Combined with Trung Doan that is 50.6%...
And the investment at $4 for 4%...
loaded more on the dip, barely missed the flip. This might just pay off the PYPL and SKWS options that just went from strong green to highly 'infected'.
Weird that it was up so much overnight and then gravity wins during the day.
yeah and I had my trigger too high to enjoy all the other ripples...
UVC LEDS are likely to be a coronavirus play... UV disinfectant angle.
XianChang Ma purchased 150,000 common shares of the company for $600,000, or $4.00 per share.
The transaction is expected to close in February.
The shares purchased represents about 4.17% of SemiLEDS' outstanding shares.
Now 13D Trung Doan owns 14.2%, so about 500K +/-...
I'd be interested...
I have not followed them. What else do they have besides the two lines they sold off? Having $50M in the bank and 80M shares out is a $0.625 cash value.
The PR hints at a plan and an operation to move forward ("remaining business becoming cash flow and EBITDA positive by the end of the year"). Sounds more than a well funded shell, so does anyone know what is left and how to value it?
History says this will return to near $1 again until the next piece of info.
hitched a ride due to early momentum yesterday. If their estimate of outstanding shares is correct, the recent sale at $127M is twice the market cap... is it? (I can go look it up, but that may be outdated)
... morning news on my trading platform.
Assertio Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASRT) shares moved upwards by 9.6% to $1.48. The market cap seems to be at $61.3 million.
So, is this getting primed for a promotion or does someone know news that isn't released yet? Rising like this on no news *during an S3 public offering* suggests something is going on.
Today's news answered that. I was kicking myself for not getting in yesterday for 30%. Now I am thrilled.
Been weighing the odds on that but the chart says no. Then again charts lie.
is today's plunge news driven or an insider foreshadowing of news the rest of us will hear too late?
the copper clad aluminum and copper cable they make is used in the Chinese industrial market. China policies and labor costs would make it extremely difficult to import finished copper cable so their competition is largely Chinese as they say.
Still, a Korean or a Taiwanese equivalent company should give reasonable comparison within their own domestic markets but with higher transparency. I had assumed they made cable for China State Grid, but it seems they are more focused on industrial machinery, etc.
Liwa had some credible hit pieces that have me back on my heels but I have been tempted
my 100 share fill at 1.66 yesterday is a very hollow (and very fractional) victory
halted pending news?
Your lips to god's ears. I paid $1.10 for my warrants.
Set a realistic limit order and wait. When value exceeds your limit, they will sell. Daytrading wont work.
You can buy and sell them like stock or like options.
They are like call options except the company issues them and their number is limited.
They have a time value that goes to zero as the expiration date approaches and an intrinsic value if the stock is over the exercise price.
Been in the warrants a while. They are the better play for the next 6-12 months until time-value starts decreasing.
Not really and I have been wrong the past year...
