Yeah, I probably did, I have shares as a long shot, it is #10 on the list, but hasn't moved yet. It likes to go up on down days, as does IMCL & ORCT. Nice to have a few of these in the portfolio.

It was no doubt a blessing that you missed the tiny upswing, bigger gains are around the corner. Wedbush Morgan is playing in PARL, when they get enough cheap shares, they'll upgrade. When the late financials are filed it should go up too. The financials can only help..........if they are bad, it was the old management. But, I suspect that they are very good and were withheld to keep the stock down so Llia could steal the company.

I'd say you did damn well, only being down $99. I like these days when I'm sitting on all cash, but not now.

I would say '97-'03 real estate, the proverbial 7 yrs up, to be followed by 7 yrs. down. When/if the feds raise rates a smidge, it will put pressure on buyers to step up to the plate.

Go to any stock on Yahoo. From the summary page, look in the blue shaded bar where the "headlines" header is, look to the right, click "hide $$". To get rid of Motley Fool articles click "edit" and uncheck Motely (there are 2 spots). You can also do this from the Headlines page.

Looking at OII, which reports 2/22, as a possibility after the ACGY payday.

ACGY being a non-US company is one of its buying points as far as I'm concerned. It was a US company when he had it, at least that is what I recall from the research I did on SOSA, so I doubt if he has any tax answers. I use a CPA, so he can figure it out. My goal is to make $, not worry about taxes.

I've rotated out of my latin america stocks as they seem decidedly toppy and that s.o.b., Hugo, seems to be drumming up more support, not that I actually see him causing any trouble with the big guys like CX, RIO, or PBR, but there is a real potential that the US market will get scared and sell-off. I prefer to keep some non-US exposure, so I did start a position in ACGY today.

I'm quite content with the ONNN short, can't believe they held up through the day. I've got my order to cover in at $8.55, which I know will happen on the next pullback. It dropping to $6.5 wouldn't surprise me either. So I'll cover @ $8.55, if it sinks below that, I'll short it again. Thanks for the suggestion.

Why would shorts cover today? Good Lord, if I caught like that, I'd wait a while for the price to settle down.

Ted, did you ever look at SOSA, now known as ACGY? My brother had it 2 yrs ago and did great with it. So, I was perusing the 2K list and its supposed to do very well for several months. I see it hasn't reported for this quarter yet. Its chart looks pretty bullish. They are pretty high tech, deep drilling, sea floor mapping, platforms, etc.

I've been having darn good luck with ^xoi stocks this week, maybe I'll take the proceeds from HYDL and plunk them into ACGY.

EPG looks toppy, there is a head and shoulders on the 6 mo. chart. Might be ready for a short.

BTW, I called Scottrade and asked about selling short and if they need to be notified. Derrick said that if the short sale is approved and goes through that is all that needs to be done, no calls to borrow or anything else.

I couldn't resist, have an order in to buy GOOG at $460 after hours. Whatever happens is ok. Unless there is some buying in a hurry, a whole lot of stops might be triggered tomorrow am.
