Impending good news !?!?!? Sure does reflect in the share price building today...can't keep good news a secret for very long....
Quick...where's my Reynold's Wrap tinfoil....anything...gimme that clingy stuff if you've got it...

...maybe the short loving CDEL sending out an #SOS to cover ?
....it has been pretty quiet....
It's almost like the attorneys at HOWARD & HOWARD and MILES & STOCKBRIDGE packed up the Cayenne for the Poconos for the holidays and dumped a stack of papers on some 19yo intern's desk and said "Take care of these....or your fired". Sort of like Scrooge and Bob Cratchit...
There was something being touted here on Gilead's "promising" HIV drug Lenacapavir which was supposed to "render leronlimab obsolete"....
But....[slow crocodile tear in corner of eye]....I...I...read this this morning....

Stealing from an "authority" on the bond topic, I quote a post by someone with much more experience in these important matters than I...without any further ado, I present Respert24's assessment:
What paragraph in the press release said- CYDY has NOT Paid the Bond
http://newsfile.refinitiv.com/getnewsfile/v1/story?guid=urn:newsml:reuters.com:20211222:nBw52Cq5Xa&default-theme=true
Interesting trend noted.....
Go check out: https://fintel.io/ss/us/cydy
You'll see that for the last 4 days CYDY has been averaging a short volume ratio of 23.09% total volume. That's pretty low compared to over the last several months of 50%+. This probably one of the reasons we've been seeing green closes recently.
I wonder if the short sellers are finally bailing at this point and will recede back into the cracks to fight with the cockroaches over scraps until another day.
Been scrounging on the Inerwebs for data and found this about Brazil and ANVISO which may explain some funky numbers on their COVID cases...
So, rather than sitting on my as going..."Wow...that's a good question"...I did some research of my own.
Seems that an injunction bond with collateral costs about 1% of the bond. But can be less of a percentage on larger bonds.
1% of $6,500,000 = $65,000 or less
An injunction bond without collateral sounds like it could run 2-3% and sounds like it could run lower also.
3% of $6,500,000 = $195,000
This is certainly A LOT LESS than everyone running around with their hair on fire screaming "OMG!! $6.5M !!!"
https://suretybondauthority.com/injunction-bond/
Any bond underwriter seeing this in the paperwork when applying for a bond will certainly have their mind put at rest about the security of their bond underwriting...they know it's almost a sure thing....
If collateral is required...I bet NP has a collection of collector CYDY coffee mugs that could fetch some change on eBay.
Really good question....so rather than complaining about it I was proactive and sent them a query via email *AND* online on how their LTO update with the PH FDA was coming along. I guess I caught them on a break or something.
I'll give them a couple of days to respond. Right now most everyone at Chiral Pharma is no doubt getting ready for Christmas celebrations or the Holiday crew is working feverishly to ensure the LL orders are filled properly and not hijacked or stolen by the black market operators....because henchmen and evil bosses (plus their families) get COVID-19 too.

To be honest, TonyC was before my time with CYDY. I'm one of those 2019-ers who jumped in with the HIV-1 results and the inkling of other applications with this thing called "inflammation".
...but I did hear a rumor that TonyC did clean urinals and toilets....so he did have more than ONE purpose other than mopping floors....

OMFG
There are so many things going on with CytoDyn right now and many of them are happening behind closed doors. There was even a recent rumor of a buyout for $17/share.
....and along those lines...
I found this teaser on a site that sells "information". I don't know how accurate that "information" is but thought I'd share nonetheless....
https://adisinsight.springer.com/drugs/800011544
But that naming convention doesn't adhere to the United States Adopted Names (USAN) Council who is responsible for selecting simple, informative and unique nonproprietary (generic) drug names.
There isn't a "saline category" that I'm aware of.
The same organization that CytoDyn submitted to and gained approval for the naming of "Leronlimab" does not have a "saline category".
https://www.ama-assn.org/about/united-states-adopted-names/united-states-adopted-names-naming-guidelines
So, until a granted and approved name by the USAN that contains "saline", or a derivative thereof, I'm pretty sure it's considered a pharmacological faux pas.
Black-Ops,
Is that a fact [rhetorical question].
Thinking $500 ? Many of my projections using a little Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational String Theory Statistical Analysis....all backed up with some Excel 95 spreadsheets show a max price target of about $497.95 per share, with a P/E Ratio of 250, with dividends of approximately 5.039493% per annum, per share. But only if I enable macros.
So, I guess my question would be.....what mathematical premise did your price estimates get derived from?
As I was reveling in the miracle substance that we know as PRO140, Leronlimab, Vyrologix....but then there are others who call it leronsaline or just plain saline...
...I ponder the fact that it has absolutely no NaCl or KCl structures in it...or for that matter...no salt like structures. So, I'm still wondering..... why the incorrect "saline" malignment ....

https://clinicalinfo.hiv.gov/en/drugs/leronlimab/patient
Wait....wasn't this bond already acknowledged and offered by CytoDyn/Sidley in a prior filing.....the court didn't force them to do anything...No big surprises here for those actually reading the documents.
[scrounging through billions...and billions of documents]
Here it is with the 'portnant parts circled in red....
Let me get this straight again....
Does it mean that CytoDyn DOESN'T have to post $6.5M in cash for this bond?
I mean coming from someone who does this for a living this was said:
Realistically, with $80M spent on Amarex with ...what...around $12M still owed by CytoDyn.... Would it not be in NSF/Amarex's best interest to just call it a day and say "nothing owed"...and then CytoDyn asks the court for defendant to pay legal fees since the injunction was in Cytodyn's favor?
Then parallel to all this the arbitration process is taking place. Now that's a black box to us on what's going on.
Maybe that's why NSF is trying to weasel out of being responsible for anything.
Thank you for that detailed and factual explanation. Put in plain terms that even I can understand....and they apply to this specific action.
Any thoughts on the order granting preliminary injunction where the judge says that CytoDyn is likely to win? The judge put his signature on that document...so it's official.
Really. Is that how it works? I just read about these things to understand them.
Any idea if these types of surety bonds are covered by corporate insurance ....things like litigation, bonds, etc?
Good points.
I would not be surprised if CytoDyn has a type of insurance coverage that provides for paying/posting these types of surety bonds.
It is EXCELLENT CytoDyn news.

I'm unsure why Amarex didn't have to file a Defendant Bond since this is a contractual violation suit and Amarex still has to produce the information sought in the preliminary injunction. Failing to do so would cause CytoDyn to "suffer irreparable harm".
But there's still plenty of time before 14Jan22 for more drama...so stay tuned to this CytoDyn channel....same CytoDyn time...
To help with the misunderstanding of what a surety bond is for civil case preliminary injunctions....I offer this as I'm not a lawyer....
Not sure what court would grant a preliminary injunction without some type of surety bond...it's how the legal process works.
More people should get familiar with how the legal process works....it takes all the mystery and misunderstanding out of it.
Not sure what court would grant a preliminary injunction without some type of surety bond...it's how the legal process works.
More people should get familiar with how the legal process works....it may help them immeasurably some day....
The $6.5M is the cost of Amarex's time/effort/resources to complete the audit as required by the preliminary injunction....IF somehow at a later date it is ruled that Amarex was not at fault. This was a fee already agreed to by both parties earlier in the event a permanent injunction does not swing CytoDyn's way.
And it's not due until 14Jan22.
So...what's a "Preliminary Injunction"....
Nah....it's a little less dramatic....but nonetheless satisfying...many thanks for the reminder to check back.
The other document "Reply to Response to Motion" was the required response by NSF/Amarex due today that did a pretty weak argument of why NSF shouldn't be held accountable and why CytoDyn shouldn't be granted the injunction....but wait....it was. Oh well...
Filing 35
As Flip Wilson would say...."Here comes The Judge!!"
Here's one for those who subscribe to the fringes of reality and notice the little things in life.....
On 26Nov21 the CytoDyn homepage looked like this with all the cluttered shortcuts to different items:
Then, today it looks like this...all cleaned up...maybe...just maybe..cleaning things off for a big announcement....maybe something that's spelled "N-*-S-H" ??
Vanna...can I buy a vowel ?
Did anyone else notice and when that may have happened? Or, is NP selling off the hyperlinks to keep cashflow going? I hear slightly or unused hyperlinks can fetch a pretty good price in cash on the black market....
"Don't short your brain." -Dr. Nader Pourhassan (14Dec21)
The 1/19 deadline I think is the unredacted transcript that all parties get to review and make whatever redactions they need. Then I hope a cleaned up copy gets published soon thereafter.
What's interesting is that there is already a date for that transcript to be published. It's not an easy task for the court reporter/clerk to get all the documents needed into a collection, have it reviewed for completeness by the judge's staff, then published. In my opinion, the case is pretty much winding down now that the CytoDyn has won this round against Amarex.
As for the other things..ooops. Sorry....
As part of my periodic follow-ups for different things and taking care of current business, I noted a couple of things worthy of sharing.
In the CytoDyn v Amarex case, I found that I'm still getting a permissions denied when trying to access the Motion Hearing from 12/16/2021. I'm still getting this:
But, I did check the Deadlines/Hearings page and found that today (12/21/21) a Reply is due from Amarex over this statement from CytoDyn/Sidley.
Good question. The trial patient numbers from the last info did not seem very far along. Hopefully more people will elect to participate during this latest upsurge and more lives can be saved.
Hopefully, God-Willing, In-my-opinion, Perhaps...we shall get some news from CytoDyn HQ on the Brazil trials status.
