What does "momo" mean?
Hey Jag, (disclaimer: to all, I apologize, this may be off topic)
Just wanted to ask your opinion on something to get a feel for my own personal reference. First of all, my apologies for saying something in an earlier post about you making yourself sound stupid some of the time. That was inappropriate of me.
I came across the EDEX idea from another poster over on FMNJ and have been observing for a while till just recently posting. I was just curious if you had any opinion on FMNJ? I noticed that you get a bit of attention for your devil's advocate type viewpoint, and I went back through a few hundred of your posts and noticed that you have a variety of stock interests, yet I did not see FMNJ anywhere. I am just curious if FMNJ is on your radar screen or on your shit list or if you really do just follow lowman around and give him a tough time...lol. FMNJ has somewhat of an oil/diesel interest in addition to their silver play, and I just thought with you being interested in discussing your views on NDOL and EDEX that you might have come across FMNJ as an extra O/G possibility.?.?
Any thoughts or opinions or "expertise" on FMNJ similar to what you have attempted to give on EDEX? Just curious if you have any extra thoughts, or, if not, perhaps you might want to jump over there and see if you can rile em up a bit and give lowman a break for a few days...heh heh. For informational purposes only, I was in FMNJ at .0035 and rode it to .102 and .117 on my exit points, now though, it is stuck in a range between .035-.05 and people are getting ancy and emotionally stressed over there. Maybe you would be good to help knock the wind out of some fence sitters and weak longs and help knock em down to .025 or so and help me get a better buy back in price for some additional shares. Or not...lol...I just figure it might give you something extra to do other than terrorize these guys about EDEX...heh heh.
Awww, c'mon, shortongold, rai, is a cool cat...just a little lonely. Cut him some slack will ya? He just really, really, really loves Chinese food...can ya blame him? heh heh... No harm; no foul.
I'm looking for .80-.85 realistically... That potential "breakaway" gap from the other day on the charts just looks more likely to be tested and possibly filled here soon after today's reversal action (within the next day to few days or so)...from a technical analysis standpoint/reference.
Sorry to any who think I'm just guessing or throwing out careless numbers...I'm not, just doing some basic T.A. For those that don't believe in technical analysis on pinkies, I understand, but more often than not, the charts can filter out the crap and do what needs to be done price action wise, and that gap looks like it wants a fill, sooner or later. After a potential gap fill this week, though, lookout, I bet this puppy will bark and run and grow some legs.
Wally,
You said, "...Most boards that I have read today are focusing on the discount factor of the deal. To the many who aren't familiar with PTSC the non publishment of numbers along with the word Discount would be enough to send up the red flag. Yes apparently Sony was given a deal but what kind of deal. Fujitsu paid $30M, AMD $3M both were discounted deals. Whose to say that Sony didn't pay a much higher price than has previously been collected but a discount of what it would have been had they not signed before the J3 court case..."
--------------------------
My question is this... ANY deal agreed upon and paid by Sony or any others that come forward from here on out is MONEY IN THE BANK regardless of whether it is "discounted" or not. Some people selling and profit-taking today that were focusing on the "discount" unknown and the lack of specific numbers or details, IMO, is ludicrous. Sony settled and paid MONEY and offered to pay a heretofore unidentified amount. SO WHAT, if the details are to follow or maybe less or more than this or that. Fact is, they PAID SOMETHING...and that should bode well for future J-3 and other smaller companies coming forth in the future, wouldn't you think???
I just get amazed at the unbelievable short term time-frame of these traders that move into a stock and bump it and run it and then blow it out just to make a quick buck EVEN WHEN there is a reasonable intermediate term expectation to look forward to. Seems to me that there are plenty of legs left in this pony once the short timers make their buck for a day or two of work punching keys on a computer board.
Sony ponied up; woohooo...who's next? That can only be good; details or no details, heck, at least they paid something.
Hang in there, todd...
Methinks this will hit a bottom in the .80-1.05 area... From there, you should see a nice run through summer up to $2.50-$3.00 (or hopefully sooner than thru summer, perhaps in the next 2-4 weeks), imo, even though you asked not to hear it... But, in any case, I feel ya, man...I did not like today's technical action AT ALL...MM bastards...wouldn't ya know it to be just like em to gap up the open slightly and try to reverse it and hit the bids all the way down till it hit some teeth. I tell ya, during the day, I tested the market with a couple of small sells BELOW the market and the MM's were giving it a vacuum market and not filling for 3 or 4 minutes even when trades were going off ABOVE my sell limit...THEY WERE GUNNING TO GO LOWER for their OWN purposes...IMO.
This stock has a nice future coming up...might need a little further shakeout in the super immediate short-term, but it will turn back up...don't sweat your $1.25+ buy price from last Friday or whatever it may be that is stressing you. You should not worry unless you see this back below 75 cents or something like that. IMHO.
dude!!! too funny...I see the humor in your persistence and your obvious efforts...way to go...good humor...imHo
that makes GG, JB and now ZZ...woohooo...you are a playa, sir...don't hate the playa; hate the game...lose that zero n get w/ the hero...you can do it if you just stay persistent...lol...go, rai!!!
And go FMNJ! (to stay on topic)
Please understand, F.A., no disrespect meant or insinuated... I appreciate your T.A., your technical objectivity and your ability to keep the emotions in check. You are a sane voice in an insane "post"er world. May the market prove itself to be correct as we shall always be at the mercy of such, and we should recognize that Mr. Market will always prove himself to be right over any of all of our opinions.
Iman,
You said, "...As long as FA remains on the bear side, I feel confident since he is apparently a contrary indicator...".
I wholeheartedly agree with that statement. Don't be surprised those, guys and gals, if you see .035-.038/.039 tested this next week. Buying opportunity if you see it. Love the skepticism on this board and the quietness of late...sniffs and smells like a bull run coming...quiet before the storm, perhaps?
IMO...Good Luck and Good Trading to ALL!
Yeah, Jag does kinda make himself/herself sound kinda stupid doesn't he/she? I guess he/she loves the negative attention...making up for "short-comings" in other areas of his/her life, prolly (probably)...ya think?
Hey, nice delayed posting there... Wasn't that back from January 2006 when EDEX was trading BELOW .05 a share??? Seems to me that with EDEX trading where it is now at .10/.105 that the stock price has doubled since the original article...hmmm. Oh well, the bears can stay bears all the way up through .20, .30 and onward and upwards beyond $1.00+. More power to you girls... Good luck and good trading to all!
Excerpt follows:
"January 2006
Tony Hetherington
There cannot be many people who have failed to notice that oil prices have been going through the roof recently. So it is no surprise that oil company shares have been in the news too, with some household-name firms being tipped by brokers around the world. Eldorado Exploration, however, is not one of these household names! In fact, it would have to grow quite a bit even to qualify as a minnow..."
what does "eom" mean?
Nice post, Sam!
good (or should I say, decent and objective) post, F.A...imo
I think it may test .035-.039 again, but I doubt it will go as far as .02 to fill the gap. Anything is possible.
Next week should be interesting...you may end up right after all...I still, for the record, doubt it.
They halted production on that project (the Mayaya project) in late 2005 due to diesel fuel shortages and problems w/ the workers from the co-op.
The diesel supply problem should be solved now when the production plant gets up and running. Future potential to re-start Mayaya should they consider it worthy.
INTERESTING...thanks for the additional info.
I would imagine that Shaw would be involved w/ a zero revenue pink sheet company for the same reason that ANY of us would be involved with ANY stock...for future profits, future projects, future growth and future potential.
FMNJ seems to have a great inroad and a BRIGHT FUTURE w/ it's Bolivian CEO Jaime and his seemingly amiable relations w/ the Bolivian gov't as such.
Not sure what your friends that work in the piping division might be able to dig up, but as large as Shaw is, they may not even be aware of the goings on w/ FMNJ in Bolivia. Who knows, you may turn up some interesting nuggets though...looking forward to any info should you turn up anything of interest.
That link from my last post does go on to say that, "This association gives Franklin...financial ability to reconfirm the offer...with Y.P.F.B...." (excerpt follows):
...Headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with over $3 billion in annual revenues, Shaw employs approximately 20,000 people at its offices and operations in North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. For further information, please visit Shaw's website at www.shawgrp.com.
This association gives Franklin Oil & Gas the technical, operational and financial ability to reconfirm the offer of the joint venture with Y.P.F.B., the national oil company of Bolivia...
My apologies, Rai...I meant Shaw Group (not Shaw Investment Group)...my mouth was flapping too much cuz of the alkeehol.
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/051006/097219.html
agreed on EDEX!!!
Go FMNJ to keep it O.T.
Just for you Rai...
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=2767
she IS HOT!!!
5,000?
oh, c'mon...F.A., I bet you $1.00 that it will hit .10+ before it EVER drops below .025 again...I'll even frame it for you and send it to you...S/H on me. Gentleman's bet?
c'mon, Rai, are you really asking for F.A.'s opinion? (no disrespect meant F.A.) He's more of a technical guy. The best mix is technical analysis w/ fundamental analysis as the core before. Analyze the fundamentals and use technicals for your entry/exit points...IMO.
tuesday...monday is a holiday, silly
Shaw Investment Group (or other accredited investors set up on the side), otherwise FMNJ would have to issue an additional 5-7 Billion shares (don't think that is gonna happen).
let me go back and do some research...I'll get back to you tomorrow (I still have the MAYAYA numbers; just did not care to give details the other day)
ROTFLlmao.
I agree w/ most of your post, except, although I may be Norm (OR, nah, have struggled w/ it, but now getting it taken care of...ordered 4 books recommended here on this board...thx all...I'm gonna be back to the me of "old" from a few years ago, even if only in MY own mind), I'm minus the 200 extra lbs from NORM!!!. I'm sleek and svelt and sooooooooo SEXY...just got no game...heh heh. JanaBanana, here in Houston, you have to let me know where you work so I can come over and question Jaime and Petty when you see 'em next...hah hah, nah just kidding. Not hitting on you, just being friendly.
Wooohooo...I am drunk tonight...Memorial Day weekend, we've got a group coming over to the pool tomorrow for a BBQ. Tonight, me and my brother bowled our first bowling "No-Taps" league and we placed SECOND!!! So happy...got to do something successful w/ my lil bro... Sorry for O.T. here, but I'm having a great Saturday night here w/ my sister and my brother and buddy and some friends. Just wanted to check out the FMNJ board for some fun reading before I face-plant tonight.
Hey, thanks, all for listening to my blah blah blah or not...this is my pseudo support group. Good and safe, happy, restful, enjoyable weekend to ALL! Even the bashers...
GO FMNJ...GO GATA...GO GOLD/SILVER...and heck, why not, OIL is going to $85 in the next 3 months...
Uh oh! Ok, now I see what is going on. I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!!! Just went to cnn.com/pipeline and now I see that they want $2.95/month or .99 for an all day pass...hah hah hah. Ok, Adapt, admit it, you are a paid pumper by CNN and this is a ruse by you and your employer to get us to pay up a subscription fee.
And heck, I may as well even go out on a stretch here and suggest that adapt2evolve is just another poster-identity for financialadvisor and you are just toying with us. I mean, heck, you both have cool little graphic thingy's posted as your signature to your posts. How's that for over-analysis?
Heh heh...I'm just kidding, I think...lol. Have a great weekend all, even those of you w/ multiple identities and split personalities. I feel right at home here...rofl.
And NO, Rai, I have not been drinking...just throwing out some attempt at humor, hopefully, after a cat-scratch fever catfight of a number of postings earlier today, late last-night and earlier this week. I think it will be good for everyone to cool off, relax and safely enjoy the Memorial Day weekend. Safe and enjoyable holiday to you all!
Oops, for clarification purposes, my eyes get cross-eyed w/ all of these sub-penny decimal numbers when evaluating these pinks... Not that it matters, but anywhere I referenced .013 or .015 in that post, I meant 13 and/or 15 cents.
Oh, and that verification from adapt2evolve, woohoo, that calls for an extra add-on buy here before market close just based on the idea that FMNJ actually MAY be dealing with something other than "ghost" companies. Of course, that is hoping and considering that Adapt is not a ghost or a fake/fraud himself/herself.
Nice job on the legwork/phonework, there...hope you are legit. Of course, one tries to get a feel for those who are genuine here and those who are questionable based on their posting...you seem credible. Thanks for the info.
Wow, well said!!! I second those thoughts! Easier than me trying to get my brain cells to dance together...they are still recovering from earlier in the week.
F.A.,
There IS such a thing as "over-analysis", ya know. You've got all kinds of stuff swimming up there in your head, don't ya? Been there, done that at one point way back when, but nowadays I like to keep it down to the best of the best indicators (that have worked best for ME over the years) and follow a more simple, genuine, traditional approach like Jim Sinclair.
Elliott Wave...c'mon now (kinda grasping there aren't ya applying waves to penny stocks), how bout Robert Prechter calling for below $100 gold back since AFTER it bottomed at $248-$252 based on him expecting a similar wave 5 down. And what about his being BEARISH on gold all the way up thru and past $600 from the $250's...the guy is a goof-ball, man. He's had his hey-day in the 1980's and it ain't no longer today. Has he even conceded yet and finally turned around to admit we are in a super-cyclical bull market in gold and other precious metals, or is he still calling for that $100 final down move??? What a fool (too blinded by his own over-analysis to see the future potential fundamentals that at times OVERRIDE the technicals)!
My favorite mantra since starting all this investing/trading stuff back in 1993 while self-educating myself and graduating from H.K.U.(Hard Knocks University) and paying a significant tuition, was simply K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid). Of course, KISS and be smart and careful about it, of course. But, I've just learned from experience and years of it, KISS works better than over doing it sometimes. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees if you go overboard. Just some thoughts.
Hey F.A.,
You're really sounding balanced and objective lately (ahem)! Interesting.
What abou thte "T-style" doji's from April 18, 19 AND 24th??? Hmmm, those t-dogs seemed to be just before a HUGE RUN-UP after an extended "consolidation phase" on weak volume and quite a lull (MUCH LIKE THE PAST 2-3 WEEKS???)...hmmm, maybe. It could be possible that your mood here is a contrarian indicator that a breakout is waiting for us next week. Let's see what happens.
Oh, and also, last time you went on like this, the news and facts and fundamentals were way WORSE than they are now, and I ALSO seem to remember in reading your posts from inception of the board, that you were of the opinion that 5 CENTS was the maximum that this stock would likely ever touch? And wasn't that back when they had fewer than a BILLION shares issued and outstanding? And wasn't that back before any of the possibilities of oil/gas and Bolivia were even in the cards? So now you are saying that this thing couldn't even begin to pass up .015 until/unless OTCBB listing. Well, gee, if you were wrong about .05 ever being passed up, then you could be wrong about .015 being left in the dust again as well, perhaps? Just questions, not projections...I'm just throwing out thoughtful banter.
Seems to me the the last time that you were this vocal and adamant about a PULLBACK, the price took off and broke past .02 on it's way to .013 and left you face down in the dust. Pullback has already occurred my fellow poster (thrice since .13-.15). Doubt a fourth one will be a charm, but anything is possible. Of course, my opinion would be that if it were to break down below .025 at THIS point going by my current technical analysis, WHY WHY WHY would you even consider buying back in at .01 or even .02 at the gap fill. If we break .025 to the downside, then you may as well just consider this company going bankrupt and save your money from buying back in. Especially with all of the insinuations here that FMNJ is a fake company and they are dealing with a bunch of fake, shell companies, and heck, we may as well throw in here that BOLIVIA is a fake gov't and not really even a country in South America while we're at it. Heck, I've never been there myself, so does it really even exist???
I'm gonna say that your candlestick analysis did you NO good from early April thru April 24, and I say it will probably do you the same way this time. I've never personally liked candlesticks anyway, but that's just my own personal opinion. Oh, and I also think that any technical analysis performed on logarithmic charting scales, is just silly. The up-trend line in arithmetic scaling, looks GREAT (unless we crack .025 below)!
P.S. I followed that link that Americano posted regarding your college post board thingy, and I would just like to say that if that roaring 20's old photo is of you and your girl, she's quite a beaty!!! Nice pick. You might want to take it down though before some of these guys here check it out and print it out and hang it on their wall...heh heh.
Good thoughts for food...heh heh. Well said.
My calculator is officially put in the drawer for now except for me occassionally punching in numbers to find the VERY MINIMUM I would expect on this particular pinky.
Interesting objective comments...
something you said...
"Right now lets figure how much more up or down potential is for this company as we know things now, these are the following possibilities that we know of..."
My interpretation:
Downside risk is from .045-.050 down to zero, if they crap out and go bankrupt and are lying about everything.
Upside risk (missed potential profits) is UNLIMITED (limited only by the rationality of buyers out there) if one sits out on the sidelines too long and this stock does eventually cross .06-.07 and breaks out into a second leg to .20-.30 and beyond. So risk/reward is definitely skewed to favor the long persuasion.
I just know that the other day when it spiked down to .029 and then recovered rapidly on significantly increased volume on that potential "bullish star" bottom day, I had to scrap my scale in buying plans below .025 waiting for that .020-.021 gap to be filled. Just seems to me that it may stay open as a breakaway gap, and not be revisited.
I'd rather pay up an extra .015-.020 per share and be on the train when it leaves the station with my ticket in hand, than be caught holding the wind with nothing to show while trying to shave a couple of pennies on a pullback that may never come again.
Hey Moxy,
I think you were referring to the post just before Gigantus'... Post #5817...the last sentence.
Who is Bill W.??? I'm totally stumped.
I saw that mentioned in a couple of posts a couple of weeks ago. I'll add your book reco to my list to check out. Thanks.
I was jez messin w/ you too, Rai...lol.
Hey, I thank you for the info...I will check out the book.
When I say I am drunk, though, I AM...period. I'd love to say that I am sober right now and believe it and feel it, but the fact of the matter is that my B.A.C. would not agree. When I say that, I say it as a matter of "hey, don't listen to me right now"...kind of a disclaimer.
However, my numbers and analysis is usually spot on. Heck, you should see me SOBER... I run rings around the best of them...just gotta get the @#*"$&@#"$ under control.
I was kinda hoping that if I spouted off enough that someone might be able to direct me to an appropriate idea to help w/ my personal issues...thanks again for the book recommendation...I REALLY do appreciate it! Do you have an author to go with that book to help facilitate my Amazon.com search when I look for it tomorrow?
Rai,
Again, I ask, have you been drinking today??? Man, lay off the hooch will ya...you're starting to scare ME!!!...rotflmao
