Chile lithium producer SQM delays Atacama expansion amid price slump
Dave Sherwood
SANTIAGO (Reuters) - Chile’s SQM, the world’s No. 2 producer of lithium, said on Thursday it would delay a key expansion of production capacity from the Atacama salt flat until the end of 2021 amid a slump in prices for the coveted battery metal.

It's so painful to read your posts.
What a shame.......
..." more EV-makers we_can't_supply Lithium_to "
You can save a lot of work by mentioning only those companies
we can supply Lithium to.
( And it is much less painful for you )

Does PYR really have a market capitalization of ( only ) 85 million?
With revenues of up to 30 million ! ?
At the moment Gil almost gets the stocks as a gift.
Doctore,
there was no new " another EV-maker we_can't_supply Lithium_to "

In addition:
Mr. Pascali added: "In addition to this latest agreement, we are actively pursuing other tolling arrangements through our new, multibillion-dollar global partner headquartered in Japan, which we announced in November, 2018. Our business development team, together with our Japanese partner's upper management, recently returned from our first series of on-site customer visits, all of whom requested moving forward to the next step. This contract, along with other discussions we are having with various players worldwide, should enable us, together with our Japanese partner, to provide a cookie-cutter offering and rapidly roll out our on-site tolling business worldwide."
PyroGenesis signs pretolling deal with aluminum smelter
2019-02-19 10:33 ET - News Release
Mr. Peter Pascali reports
PYROGENESIS SIGNS PRE-TOLLING AGREEMENT WITH MAJOR ALUMINUM SMELTER IN THE MIDDLE EAST
PyroGenesis Canada Inc. has entered into a pretolling agreement with a major aluminum smelter in the Middle East, the name of which remains confidential for competitive reasons.
PyroGenesis's Drosrite system is a proven, salt-free, cost-effective, sustainable process for maximizing metal recovery from dross, a waste generated in the metallurgical industry. PyroGenesis's patented process avoids costly loss of metal while reducing a smelter's carbon footprint and energy consumption, thus providing a high return on investment. The system has been designed to process and recover valuable metals such as aluminum, zinc and copper from dross. Of note, a tolling service arrangement is one in which a smelter provides dross to a third party to be processed for a fee either on or off site.
The agreement outlines the next steps to enter into a final tolling arrangement, which includes a formal demonstration of the company's proprietary Drosrite system at the client's facility. This will demonstrate to local authorities that Drosrite can process the client's dross in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner. The trials are expected to further demonstrate that Drosrite can be used to recover aluminum from the client's dross without the addition or use of fluxing salts, resulting in a non-hazardous residue, which can then be utilized by other industries, thereby closing the loop in dross processing.
Prior to entering into this agreement, the client conducted its own independent analysis and concluded that the Drosrite technology should have a significantly higher recovery rate than their current practices and embraced the fact that the Drosrite system does not use salt and, therefore, unlike other processes, does not produce hazardous salt cakes as a byproduct.

Very interesting ... and dangerous.
You keep us up to date ?
Letter to Shareholders ... and also to BLILF Holders ?
10 September 2018
Dear Fellow Shareholder,
I wanted to take this opportunity to comment on the valuation of Bearing Lithium and the Maricunga Project in the context of the larger market. With respect to a direct benchmark for the value of Bearing Lithium, a logical comparison is Lithium Power International (ASX:LPI) given the common ownership on the Maricunga Project. Lithium Power International has a partially-diluted market capitalization of A$87 million, incorporating in-the-money options, which implies a value of A$171M or C$161 million for the Maricunga Project based on their 51% ownership. Comparatively, Bearing Lithium has a market capitalization of C$19 million which implies a Maricunga Project value of C$108 million based on our 18% ownership.
Based on exposure to the same underlying project, Bearing Lithium shares trade at a 33% discount relative to Lithium Power International’s shares.
Looking at recent acquisitions within the lithium market, there are two of note which highlight the opportunities within the space. Earlier this month, POSCO signed the deal to acquire the tenements on the northern portion of the Salar de Hombre Muerto which is located to the north of Galaxy Resources Ltd.’s Sal de Vida project for US$280M. This is largely exploration ground as Galaxy retains 100% in the tenements which are included in the updated feasibility for the Sal de Vida project. Last December, Nextview New Energy Lion Hong Kong Limited acquired Lithium X Energy Corp. for cash consideration of C$2.61 per share putting a value on the company and its flagship asset, the Sal de los Angeles, of C$265 million. The project had a mineral resource of 2.0Mt LCE at the time of the transaction and had yet to deliver a PEA or any project economics.
I hope that the above examples illustrate the opportunity we see in Bearing Lithium and the Maricunga Project as one of the most attractively valued advanced-stage lithium development projects. The Maricunga Project represents one of a handful of advanced-stage lithium brine projects and the highest-grade pre-production project in South America. The project team remains focused on the submission of our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) this quarter and the tabling of a Definitive Feasibility Study in December 2018.
I look forward to updating you as these exciting de-risking milestones occur over the coming months.
Sincerely, /s/ Jeremy Poirier President & CEO Bearing Lithium Corp.
The production costs will decide who survives.
LPI / MSB is not in a bad position.
And so you can in the short term (!)
the falling prices also good to win ...
right?
