Yeah, people don't want shares, but they love posting all day about this company on a message board. lol
I don't understand the sense of a R/S if they don't plan on uplisting at the same time. It seems like suicide for the share price since most pink sheet players will never pay $100 pps. It might be a ploy for insiders to buy up all the shares at a discount and then go private. In this way it would be the insiders that would take advantage of a short squeeze if there was one.
Assuming your 10 year time frame is correct for Nemegosenda becoming a "mining company" and for argument sake let's put a $10 price per share at that time. We all know that there are many hurdles to cross before that and each hurdle crossed should create an increase in pps. Since you seem to know the process, can you please give us your outlook on all the various hurdles and what the pps could be at that time while taking into consideration a $10 pps in 10 years.
I received my voting proxy from Ameritrade, but never received 1 for my shares with UBS. Could this be a way for them to cover up naked shorting? In pink sheet companies many of the CEOs own a majority of the shares in their company. I would think that they could just give out a dividend whenever naked shorting reached a certain level. Wouldn't that force those who sold fake shares to cover or atleast to discover who is behind it?
And another part of the debate is between most of the longs who put great value in Scott and the others who don't. For my part, I think there is great value in the rocks and Scott, and that's where I put my money.
Thanks Web... me too I have this value stuff rattling around in my head. What do you think about that diamond stuck in the sun that Niobium Boy was talking about. Do you think that Scott should go for it? Maybe if we do a R/S like Tom mentioned, Scott could then raise the money he needs to get it.
Of course we aren't there yet... that's the reason we are sitting on 2 cents per share. But Scott took over to make things happen and I have confidence he will. It's just a question of having patience. JMO
I think too many people are focusing on Scott excepting $5-10 million dollars in exchange for 35% of the company.I think Scott has a pretty good idea of how much money it will take to get the job done, and he will do what he has to...,to open up the $10 billion door. Only an idiot would base their value of the company on what Scott negociates the 35% for, and not what the the other 65% is worth.
I think that it's safe to say that if some entity wanted to take control of the company by buying large amounts of shares, then they would have to pay a lot more than the current pps. Since most of the shares are held in tight hands, I would bet that most of the shares that they would have to accumilate would be in the .20-.60 range. And besides that... imagine how many short and naked short shares there would be if the pps was 50 cents. Interesting situation for us all for sure.
If you go back and look at the january 11,2011 "shareholder update", you will see that Scott has been focusing more on the corporate and strategic front as opposed to exploration. I believe that as he states, that his priorities are for shareholder value. He has added claims to ST and has also extended the borders of Nemegosenda. Personally I am confident that Scott will get the job done and I will continue to take advantage of the low PPS whenever I can.
You seriously don't know what Scott has done in the past 2 years? Read back over the PRs and you will notice how much more property we own now on both ST and Nemegosenda than we did before. Also read about our new board members and their qualifications. You can also see that they are concentrating on looking for financing and even though HKHE may have fallen thru,we still pocketed some money off the deal. We know that Scott has been going back and forth to China several times and has also been contacted by other interested parties from around the world. So to think that SRSR hasn't moved forward in the past 2 years is absurd.
You are implying that you know better than Scott, when you have no idea what's going on behind the scenes.
I think it would make sense that anybody holding 5 million shares at sub-penny would have sold a good portion on the run to 20 cents. When SRSR was at .20, a person holding 5 million shares would have had $1 million in a pink sheet stock. If that person did exist and he didn't sell, then he has probably killed himself by now anyway and we won't hear from him.
I agree
Scott took over in november of 2007 and I was able to buy sub-penny shares in jan, feb, march, april and november of 2008.
5 years ago it was a different company. I got in a couple months after Scott took over and it was in the .007 range and stayed there for a while. The people that got in a couple months before me might have gotten their shares at .003
C'monnnn, you understood what he said. Don't jump on the guy because for once he gave a positive post.
I think the investors are going to wait until after september because that's when you said you were going to leave if no progress was made.
You know perfectly well why this wasn't minded in the '50s. Using this bogus claim to make your point, takes away all credibility of your post. Just like your 1st reaction to the JV news of ST was that this has nothing to do with SRSR,but instead is probably related to personal holdings of Scott.
We all know that the #1 priority here is Nemegosenda and that Shining Tree is just a small side dish. I think that it is safe to say that if ST was a main priority at this time, then Scott could have found the money to have already spun-out and uplisted it. If for whatever reason the negociations in China were to fall thru, then Scott could always sell or JV Shining Tree to give him the cash needed to continue Nemegosenda on his own until he receives an offer that he is willing to take. This could explain why he hasn't moved forward on ST yet. It probably doesn't make sense to spend time and resourses if he may want to turn around and sell it. Plus that would probably just complicate the process. JMO
You have a problem because somebody called Merle and reported back here with what he said? In my world that is called being "ungrateful". I don't understand how anybody could have a problem with that.
Personally I would rather buy my groceries in Canada than in Africa or Afghanistan. Plus,as has been mentioned here hundreds of times,we offer open-pit mining instead of having to drill hundreds of meters. This makes our product easier and cheaper. So I think patience is required and not angels.
You do know that we also have REEs at Nemegosenda?
As usual you are missing the point. When quoting somebody you should give the full quote and not part of it.
Personally I don't think any of us are qualified to second guess Scott. My money is on him. GO Scott (lol)
I was just looking at what you listed as your favorite stock. Everybody has the right to buy, sell or hold. Personally I am in the camp of buying and holding and have been here since Scott has taken over. I think we have come a long ways with very little dilution and I feel confident that we won't have to wait 10 years to see that reflected in the PPS. GLTY
Well SRSR has done better than your other stock in these past 8 months.
We don't need you here correcting other peoples opinions.I didn't see you correcting the post about value is in the PRs. Give it up...
But you really don't know what the holdup is... regardless of what you say. For all we know they may be considering selling ST. Nobody knows what is going on behind the scenes. We are all adults here and don't need to hear about your "money problem conspiracy" and "options theory" several times a day, every day for years.
If you have been here for a certain amount of time like you suggest, then you would know that Scotts "education" is a subject that was beaten to death on more than 1 occasion. But I don't think that the Chinese care if Scott has a Harvard diploma.
"Obviously they need money, every project does". Since you know that every project needs money, then why spend all your time stating the obvious? Why not talk about how much they have accomplished these past years without diluting the share structure? I don't understand why people concentrate only on the negative side. Now you are comparing SRSR to FaceBook and how easy it should be to spin-out Shining Tree, yet never mentioning that in this 1 year period they chose to increase their property claims at ST,which in my opinion is MUCH better than rushing the spin-out. I also assume that other things of equal importance are going on behind the scenes that we don't know about and are making things take longer than we would like. Shining Tree is not the reason why most of us are here and it is not Scotts priority either. If there is a hold-up then I guess other things of more importance are taking priority. That's the way it should be.
In the 4 years that I have been here Scott has taken SRSR a long ways on minimum dilution and the "only" negative that I have seen is that things are taking longer (which effects the share price) than initially expected. I have used this period to triple my shares since the run-up to .20. I am confident that 1 day this will pay off.
I feel like we are playing Monopoly. Thanks Web

Did I say that there will be "definitely" a dual listing? NO...you should read before posting
C'mon... most here believe it will be dual listed. The only 1 that's worried about every little thing is you.
Exactly !!
Probably tax loss selling.
People are selling at .03, so the question should be how many people will still be here at .50
Hopefully that won't be the case. I am counting on it being dual listed. Be patient and stay confident.
I think trading means "buying" and "selling".
