You'll be rewarded, Rizzo. It doesn't look like there are a lot of shares being offered. I bought some today---25,000 at .0151---I try to buy some every day.

Howard
How many? At what price? How long (approx.) did it take for your order to be filled? What broker? AM or PM?
Howard
I believe they do.
Good find!
Howard
WHAT AM I MISSING?
They have options. Why bother to convert until the options are way in the black?
If they buy on the open market there are two dangers: (1) If they buy before big news hits they could be accused of insider trading even WITHOUT SELLING THEIR SHARES ... just the buying could trigger the charges. (2) Their options could taint the free shares that they were buying and they could end up with ALL restricted shares, not saleable on the open market without a Registration.
Stockholders always seem happy as h*ll when management is buying. I remember one of Toby's picks---a mobile telephone company---the President was always talking about the shares that he was buying. As I recall, he bought down and down and down...where's the stock now?
h
What are you trying to say?
h
The pps was just getting ready to jump to $.50 but then you asked that question.
....sorry.
I don't understand. How does JP's post show anything about NEOM?
Please explain.
Howard
If you think a drop of 2.46% is a "BIG HIT" then you're not mature enough to handle this stock.
40% is a BIG DROP--2.46% is a blip.
Relax... or maybe it's time for you to sell.
h
PS: I hate BS posts!
These patents were talked about yesterday and Wednesday. Review those posts and you'll know as much as any of us.
Howard
No, I think it will go HIGH! The overwhelming consensus on this board is AGAINST a sale of the company. Take away that question and we should FLY.
Howard
Not really. Those prices are based on splits over the years. It is possible to show penny prices for just about every successful company but that does not mean that there was a chance to actually buy that stock for that penny price.
Howard
Obviously, the decision was made months ago. That's how long it would take to find a buyer and negotiate a deal.
Deal or No Deal???
NO DEAL!
Howard
PS: That's why Claw purchased 2,000,000 two days ago--NO DEAL!
h
Good luck. I've never been very lucky. I know that NeilPearl lost about 25% of his shares in two days although he had been successful earlier. I'm not in any way opposed to it, I guess I just don't have the nerve.
I know you thought about doing it in the .02's but never pulled the trigger. Now it's in the .014's. Maybe start with a buy first.
Good luck, Ryan. I'll follow your transactions.
Regards,
Howard
That's 100% true, HD.
Regards,
Howard
PS: Getting ready to buy a few more shares.
Good luck, Raymond, I sincerely hope that you are able to liquidate your entire position at those prices. Just putting in sell order would probably release some of the stress you are feeling. You could make them Good til Canceled orders and that way that'd be in ahead of the market. I think that is a great idea!
Regards and don't be nervous,
Howard
Right, Ryan. That's been mentioned many times on I-Hub.
No one has to deal directly with NEOM. They'll deal directly with Nuestar and only indirectly with NEOM and many other companies that are involved in the infrastructure. It's like buying a bag of Hersheys Kisses for Halloween---you're dealing directly with Hershey and indirectly with the company that manufacturers the plastic bag, the tie that closed the bag, etc.
Howard
Not true. On every aisle there are little red blinking lights offering coupons that can be applied right then and there.
Howard
The "PR GUY" only writes and distributes the Release based on the dictates of the company. NEOM has a fine PR Guy/Girl. The management has gotten very conservative on what they release---I like it that way and, as you'll find, so will the investment community.
"Oldteck, you really didn't think that a PR guy just writes what he wants to and initiates the whole process.??"
Howard
Ray-Boy, you're way overselling. It really doesn't sound like you have much experience with this topic.
Howard
Sometimes, Royal, just selling 20 or 30% of your shares will relieve the pressure that you seem to be having. Once you relieve that pressure you'll be able to hold the rest of your shares for the longer term time period that IMO will be needed to really enjoy the price benefits of NEOM.
BC's advice is really accurate. It's better to sell some percentage now and be able to keep the rest, then be emotionally forced into selling out of your whole position.
We want you with us when we get to the end of this long and bumpie road.
Regards,
Howard
Except this article--written on January 23 2005---contains FACTS that are no longer true 4+ years later--like the price of the stock that shows as $.22, the companies mentioned, the alliances, etc. etc. It's just an old article---no longer true.

Folgendes aus einem Newsletter :
This stock`s HUGE recent move-more than TRIPLING in three
months-is just the beginning.
What triggered this first jump on the way to our $5 forecast price by 2007 for this 22-cent stock aktuell $.24? The company recently announced the startup of their PaperClick registry with Fortune 500 company Science Applications International.
When Vodaphone, with 40 million users, starts offering the
service-and Cingular, Deutche Telecom and Verizon climb on the bandwagon-it`s a $1 stock.
That`s a five-bagger from here!!!!
After a likely deal with Microsoft or Google, it`s a $2 stock. That`s a ten-bagger!!!!
So if you have ANY risk capital lying around,
take a good hard look at this one NOW!
Obviously, this is NOT a stock you sink a lot of cash into. It ain`t some income play. And if you`re not playing with money you can afford to lose, stay the heck away!
Remember Network Solutions, the company that operated the Internet domain registration system?
They were owned by SAIC -- a billion-dollar, privately held
technology company, which later sold Network Solutions to VeriSign
for $12 BILLION.
SAIC and [Neomedia] are purportedly working together to form the NEXT Network Solutions -- a place where you can register your bar codes to connect to a URL you own.
And this keyword ownership business is THE REASON to own as much of this stock as you can.
Owning barcode URLs takes you, the consumer, exactly where the marketer wants. NOT to Google or some other search site that has 10 to 12 different options.
This is a HUGE advantage for marketers.
As to consumers, this company`s "PaperClick" technology makes searching -- and getting exactly where you want to go -- quick and easy. Local Internet search will fast become the holy grail of using your phone or PDA or Blackberry-type device. It`ll make the Yellow Pages obsolete and end wasted time on the phone or endless clicking on the Web.
You say, "Nearest paint store." You say, "Highest rated golf course"...and you go right to the data you want -- and then use voice or Internet to complete the transaction.
Google gets rich selling marketers "keywords" that take Internet searchers to a list of links.
[Neomedia]will get RICHER by selling the exclusive use of a company`s trademark, a "keyword" embedded in a unique barcode and, eventually, through use of a voice-enabled browser.
This firm`s technology takes the whole keyword concept and makes it simpler and better -- for consumer and marketer alike.
Someone searching for "Yankees tickets" on Google gets blasted with about 700,000 responses!
But if a marketer owns the voice URL using this company`s breakthrough technology, every single inquiry goes to them.
A businessman`s dream! One that anyone with any business sense will gladly pay a ton of money for. And that`s why [Neomedia] just may hold the winning cards in the high-stakes game of mobile commerce. . . .
A quote from Bill Gates in India`s TechTree, reporting on an interview with a German newspaper, on his vision for mobile phones:
"With cell phones, we will be able to read bar codes to retrieve information about a certain product. With a camera phone we will be able to translate a restaurant menu in a foreign country."
Bill gets it -- and this company`s intellectual property is required for his vision.
And the licensing wave has just started. Intel has just signed an agreement to embed this functionality into its new smart wireless handset chips. They felt, as I do, that they HAD to have the functionality for their chips and chose to license rather than re-create.
Microsoft is next -- they HAVE to get a jump on Palm and other handset operating system software vendors to gain ANY traction in that game.
This is by NO measure a sure thing. But it is the closest thing I`ve ever seen to getting in on the ground floor of a transformational technology before the rest of the world catches on.
The full realization of this fortune-builder is still years away as the bar code and voice URL infrastructure rolls out. But look how fast camera phones have taken over the cell phone world.
===============
Meet the "Prosumer"
===============
That`s our name for the new consumer, who uses the Internet to shop and gather information -- it`s the fastest growing mass-market segment in the world, according to a market strategist at Procter &
Gamble.
And P&G -- with 16,000 bar codes -- takes this 20-million-person (and mushrooming) market very, very seriously.
It`s good to know that [Neomedia] is the key link to
the Prosumer market? What`s more, using directed search is the most cost-effective market to reach them thanks to pay-for-performance Internet search.
And that`s the new killer application -- direct access
to the Prosumer market WITHOUT going through the search engine multi-click environment.
Up to now, the only stumbling block to getting this bar code service to market has been the need for zoom lenses on cell phones. But now, that is happening, too.
Our research shows that 50% of cell phones with cameras will have zoom functions this year, while the other 50% will come by 2006. EVERY phone maker has upgrade plans to zoom lenses -- it would be suicide not to upgrade to match their competitors.
That`s why we believe Microsoft`s new cell phone operating system, called Aura, will HAVE to license [Neomedia`s]patents. The rest will follow -- and then the barcode URL domain rush begins like the one we had with URLs for the World Wide Web.
In Japan (where this company`s patents do not apply) they are already using bar code URLs with camera enable cell phones.
It is only a matter of time and patience before this bar code and voice code registration machine begins to GUSH cash flow and push this stock incredibly higher.
It`s a sure thing that the Prosumer market is going to continue to
grow. And they are going to use bar codes, and eventually voice URLs, to pro-sume.
The only question for [Neomedia]is this: Will it survive long enough with its limited financial strength to capitalize on the vision formulated and patented 15 to 20 years ago.
With search engine advertising growing so quickly, and prosumers becoming more and more valuable to marketers EVERY DAY, my bet is that this firm WILL live to see its dream realized.
It will take guts, patience, and tolerance for wild daily and weekly gyrations in the stock. But if you`re willing to live with the volatility, this stock truly has incredible potential.
I can`t guarantee your profits on this pick. It`s a fledgling company that still faces a number of obstacles.
Streets is correct. That article is by Tobin Smoth and was written in 2005. Where did you find in NOW?
Howard
Rwandrw,
Good morning. I don't remember Lain talking about selling any of our patents. I didn't hear the whole CC, was that where he talked about it?
Regards,
Howard
crap? Your opinion disagrees with many who have tested all of them, but I guess you know best...and you present it with such respect and dignity.
h
Careful the last time we talked about "going green" remember what happened. Besides, since then "going green" just means you're being careful with the environment.
Howard
Poptech, I've appreciated many of your postings in the past but what you are doing now is way below your normal standards.
It is so clear that NEOM received access to Scanbuys patents on a "fully--paid" basis: meaning that the patents are free to NEOM---FOREVER. It is so clear, using language that is so common that I can only surmise that you are looking---in every cranny---for something to be negative about.
If your goal is/was to irritate, you have accomplished your goal but at the expense of much of your credibility. There are way too many posts on the board these days for me to waste time and effort on any of yours.
I'm sure that the loss is mine and the disappointment is mine also but I must say goodbye.
Howard
If the survivor was the new MSFT company then it wouldn't be a public company at all without a full registration.
h
I think it's way too early for the 10K to show much. I would expect price action for the next few months to come from PR's about licenses and rumors about big deals.
Howard
Your numbers make no sense. The market cap would initially stay EXACTLY the same. There would just be less shares outstanding but a higher price.
Howard
It was in a filing..about 6 months ago. I'm sure that someone will give you the exact info.
Howard
RAGING BULL?? I think of her as an old fashioned girl and you're telling me she's the beauty in repose above the bar in the wild west saloon.
No! I won't believe it!
h
I love your pies and your taste in stocks.
Howard
Jen, you do so much for us that sometimes we forget to say THANK YOU!
Yes, we take your good work "for granted", as if you are a robot humming in the background, a robot that we can always count on to do our work.
(I just sent a quart of 10-20-30 to your account.)
THANK YOU,
Howard
I'm still laughing, Oldteck. That's the truest statement of the day.
Regards,
Howard
and everybody knows you're NEVER WRONG:
"So no settlement, i guess that means many, many more months of dead money?????????" mangen 10/12/2009 8:53:08 PM
You always said 1 to 1 1/2 years for the NEOM PPS to really make a move. I agree with you and so do most of the bloggers, analysts, NEOM management--they've all talked about the 3rd quarter of 2010.
I believe the BIG move will come next year. I think the small move (the one we're in NOW) will carry us from .02 to .25; the medium move (starting in the Spring, 2010) from .25 to 1.00 and finally, with listing on the NASDAQ, the BIG MOVE, from 1.00 to $25.00. The next 12 months will be wildly exciting!
Howard
PS: I haven't told anyone about NEOM since the pps was at .30, years ago. I swore to my wife that I would not mention it, and I haven't, but this morning I asked her if I could withdraw my promise. She said YES and I immediately called my two daughters and told them that I thought this might be their last chance to buy NEOM at such a low price.
(My son already owns a bunch of NEOM from 3 or 4 years ago.)
Good luck to us all,
Howard
PS: My marriage isn't in any danger---we're married since June, 1961. (She's the most patient women in the world.)
I keep forgetting to say, "Welcome FULLY back!" (I forgot how really good your DD is. It's appreciated!)
FOUR THINGS NOW IN PLACE THAT WILL PROPEL US FORWARD:
Patent decision
Neustar deal
Scanbuy settlement
KOKONUTGUY BACK ON A FULL TIME BASIS!

Howard

How much did you lose?
Howard
Ryan, that's EXACTLY what a 1 for 10 reverse split is---you end up with 1 share for every 10 that you own.
The question is: Will the .20 HOLD it's price as easily as the .02 would. If the R/S comes at a time when earnings are rolling in and there is news of a listing, etc. then it should hold. If everthing is bad and the R/S split was done to keep from being delisted then the .20 can easily drop back to .02.
Sorry to hear that you think I'm not a people-person.

Howard
