I don't think CleanTeq is overpriced, NioCorp is just way underpriced.
Clean Teq is worth about 5 times as much as NioCorp.
PPS is not the way to compare companies.
CleanTeq market cap = $562,000,000
NioCorp market cap = $123,000,000
A scandium offtake is necessary before securing financing according to the FS.
It was mentioned 2 years ago that NioCorp was in talks with a dozen or so potential suitors for an offtake. Also, the FS mentioned that NioCorp had a goal to secure an offtake within 6 months of the FS release. We've yet to ink a deal and that's something I've been concerned about.
Do you understand the difference between a loan vs warrants?
Great defense.
Don't post inaccurate information.
These are warrants, not a bridge loan.
Currently down 8% on the tsx so I'm not sure we can call this positive.
It was nice to get a small update from management.
and there it is.
This pretty much guarantees that there isn't any equipment expected onsite this summer and financing may happen in the fall.
Nice PR this morning but not market moving. I understand its for legal purposes but too many "maybes".
I don't think you get where I'm coming from.
Don't you think it would be better for management to say "Building a financing package is a long process with a lot of moving parts. We'll update investors as things progress"
Instead we got-
"We hope to have a financing package by the end of the 1st quarter" - 3 months late
"We hope to have a Scandium offtake within 6 months of the FS release" - 6 months late
"We hope to have equipment onsite by early summer" - Can't say for sure yet but doesn't look like it'll happen.
Do you understand now why we see frustration on this board? or should I go on?
I'm happy to pick up cheap shares because of the great opportunity but not everyone has the patience to deal with a dead stock that hasn't moved in 4 years.
Whatever you want to call it.
When dates are thrown around by management, then investors look for something to happen by those dates.
Then management should communicate that properly instead of giving optimistic timelines that are never met.
Anyone that believes in this project shouldn't care how long it takes to develop but when deadlines are constantly missed, that is an issue.
Do you think this will jeopardize the loan guarantees?

I also think we'll see a retracement back to the 0.60s before reaching 0.80s. Retracement is healthy for any stock.
What I'm worried about is that without news, we go on that slow painful drift downwards.
Down with higher volume pushing into the 0.40s CAD. There is no support here.
Missed deadlines and no update from management breaks investor confidence.
A progress update is due with re-adjusted timelines.
Continuing to painfully hold.
Actually, the chart looks terrible.
Financing isn't possible until a Scandium offtake is completed. Its not looking promising since its 4 months past due.
"NioCorp’s overall objective during the six months immediately following the issuance of the project’s Feasibility Study is to complete offtake agreements for a minimum of 25% of the projected annualized Sc2O3 production from the Project."
This is still a good value project but hoping for a buyout at this point. Or at least management be honest with the timelines.
No, not necessarily. This stock has never moved higher with news lol
Pull the trigger again now or wait and see if we break 0.56?
Market cap is the best way to compare 2 companies IMO.
Either way, NioCorp's time will come. It just sucks watching the PPS performance vs other stocks. Our money has been sitting here dead for 4 years.
The wait continues...
CleanTeq market cap = 532 million USD
NioCorp market cap = 99 million USD
Nice comparison.
Thanks. So nothing to worry about.
Can anyone give an explanation for this before people start panicking? I see Lind mentioned a lot in there.
Stop blaming the TSX. It has no effect on the PPS.
We're not seeing the NYSE for a couple years. Look at the listing requirements. Unfortunately we're stuck on the garbage OTC.
Thanks Stark
I did but my post was deleted.
Can a mod give an explanation?
"With this size of ownership, retail investors can collectively play a role in major company policies that affect shareholders returns, including executive remuneration and the appointment of directors. They can also exercise the power to decline an acquisition or merger that may not improve profitability"
That's a quote from the article. Google it and tell me how many of the same articles for different companies show up?
There isn't an author for these articles - its a bot. Its a big problem on social media right now. Bots are able to influence people easily because they aren't able to distinguish real news vs fake news.
I work in the cyber security industry so it may be easier for me to spot them. I'd recommend you stop defending them, it's not helpful to the board.
Hey I live in Canada and I don’t approve that trade! Lol
Where do you see the PPS going?
This stock is hard to read. Most of the time it drifts lower without news but as soon as someone buys with higher than normal volume, it jumps 5-10% per day.
Do you still think it will it 0.55 CAD? I never seem to have enough shares lol
It’s spam. Google the first sentence from the article. You’ll see the same article for many other companies.
If you still don’t agree with me, then it’s your loss. I’m just trying to make others on this board aware.
Thanks.
I know members are trying to be helpful but those articles aren’t very good content.
Members on this board are able to provide a better technical analysis than those bot generated articles.
Yes Putz, I’m acknowledging that technical analysis can be helpful in some degree (very small right now lol)
If you disagree, explain why I'm wrong.
I'm not sure why my post was deleted but those articles are auto-generated by bots. They are generated daily and posting them should be considered spam.
If you google the phrases from the article you'll see that they are generated for other companies also.
Great ideas. I'll collect more questions from other members of the board also.
The first survey I made very quickly and didn't really think through the questions. I was surprised at the amount of feedback.
I'm going to be travelling for a few weeks in Thailand so let's put the 2nd survey on hold for now. I'll start working on it when I get back.
That was me that created that survey. I still have the detailed results.
I would be interested in creating another in the future if anyone is interested.
Californium is artificially produced.
I'm sure once the cash flow starts after production, they'll be able to do more drilling/discovery.
Mods need to make this a sticky rather than reposting every hour.
Do you mind posting?
Looking to pick up a block of shares but not much available on the ask.
Does anybody have access to level 2 on TSX?
If I remember correctly from the FS, there is no set price but rather a price they thought it was worth at the time.
If there is more demand, that price could very well go up.
This isn't from an analyst firm.
Its one of those autogenerated articles that get posted on this board way too often.
Looks like good progress is being made but it doesn't seem financing is imminent since many things are still in the works.
IMO, mid to late this year for major financing news.
