Hey guys, hey guys!
I just wanted to tell everyone that I bought a bunch of shares in this company even though I think the stock will be worthless soon!!
Ridiculous, right?
Wow.
So Grip could be right about him banging the secretary??
In all seriousness though, I hope this is fully on RP and not a more convoluted situation. Would certainly ease the nerves.
I went to college and earned a science degree, but I do not have the extensive schooling as a doctor. However, the company that I currently work for, I was previously in the Clinical Department. In that role, I reviewed several clinical studies and wrote multiple papers that have become the official position of my company. With that said, I do believe Leronlimab is the best thing since penicillin. You are talking about a monoclonal antibody that has reported ZERO serious adverse effects, and has proven to be effective for multiple indications. My comparison to this being the best drug since penicillin is by no means hyperbole or an exaggeration.
False.
The majority of the posters on this board have a positive outlook for the stock. Some people have a negative attitude towards management, which is somewhat understandable. CytoDyn is a pre-revenue biotech stock that has had to rely on the issuing of stock (dilution) in order to finance the company. Drugs often times take 10+ years to develop, and with indications for cancer, HIV, and more, PRO-140 is no exception. Has the CEO been overzealous at times - absolutely. However, that is needed in order to raise funds. If I told you this drug will be a blockbuster, but not for another 5 years - would you invest today? Probably not, you would wait 4 years. That’s the double edge sword of this company and other pre-revenue biotechs.
If you were of a science mind, you would understand that this drug is best thing since penicillin and metformin. I believe the science will prevail and and those invested will be rewarded. When? Well, I’m sitting on my stack and waiting. A buyout could happen tomorrow, next week, or in a year. I, personally, do not want to be on the sidelines when that happens.
I’ve always defended you on this board because I took you for a dooms-dayer who used worst case scenarios to shape their investment strategy. I use a similar strategy too. However, since you have no position and do not intend on having a position with CYDY - why do you continue to post on this board?
I hear ya. The horror of having a drug that has multiple indications. Whatever will we do!? ??
I’m spread so thin with CYDY....but I’ve been debating going further as well.
The half share per warrant exercised was enough incentive for me. I have a feeling they might extend the TO a couple weeks for those slow to get money in.
22.1M
I’m mildly active on Facebook and plug CytoDyn. I appreciate your efforts to help with regard to search engine optimization for CytoDyns website. As you are aware and planning to do, make sure you check with the company so there is no infringement on your part. Best of luck to us!
Not sure, but I have a feeling it’ll be a long one. Glad the TO was made available to us because I’m coming up on 5 years being invested in CytoDyn - so my warrants are about to expire. Now I would love to see this drug come to market as it truly is a generational drug.
Converting my 25,000 warrants as soon as I can and not selling a share. Interested to see what happens to the SP tomorrow.
I see what you did there.
Finesand isn’t completely off base though - this is the company’s all-in move. They are trying to raise a large enough sum of money to tip BPs hand. I’ve been in love with this drug, but as an investor, I realize this is do or die for the company. With that said - I will be exercising all of my warrants.
I have felt that I was at my threshold for investing in CytoDyn, but I will be exercising my warrants with the new deal (especially since they expire in less than a year too). I believe they will reach a tipping point with BP soon and there with be a buyout. Science has never faltered; in fact, it’s only proved to be better.
The strike price for my warrants is $0.75. Personally, I won’t exercise them until the SP is around $1.50.
I think he does and he feels compelled to address the elephant in the room. He just can’t answer the question of a sagging SP in an honest manner without fracturing the relationship with Paulson or souring people towards investing with Paulson. Cytodyn needs Paulson until they can monitize their prostate test.
I was referring to the individuals that invested through Paulson, but you make a good point as well because Paulson (the company) owns millions of shares. They can’t dump them all at once because that would obliterate the stock, and they want Cytodyn to keep coming back to their honeyhole. So they slowly dump them off and wait for the next raise.
It’s possible he does but he can’t tip his hand. I don’t know about stock manipulation, but I would likely attribute the decline to Paulson. Having participated in a couple raises - they pitch a risk free investment by dumping your shares and holding the warrants. He can’t come out and say that or it would burn the bridge with Paulson.
You can find trash anywhere if you look hard enough.
Yes, extremely frustrated, but not unsettled.
Leronlimab is still the best drug since I’ve seen since metformin and penicillin. Science will prevail; but, at what cost to the shareholders?
I asked for the burn rate and cash on hand a cal or two ago and it wasn’t answered either. Not surprised by the answer that was given this time around. They should probably do a monster raise and get it over with, with the way the SP has been sliding.
I had ALL of these same thoughts!
Nope. I haven’t heard anything new on this call. Seems like a progress (or lack thereof) update.
I see Nader is still terrible to listen to.
This is my guess once the ProstaGene acquisition is officially completed.
Where’s Tom at when you need a TA of today’s SP movement?
I like that idea. If there is anyone in the world that has a thorough understanding of the CCR5 receptor and what PRO-140 could do, it’s Dr. Pestell.
My feeling is that we’ll hear about financing once the acquisition is completed around November. We may have 1 more Paulson raise before that as we’ll be close to out of funds.
Nothing like a good ‘I told you so’, amiright?
Fine- as far as I know, all intelluctual property of Dr. Pestell and his company will become CytoDyn’s.
Anyone- I haven’t heard of anything with regard to CytoDyn being locked in to Paulson until November. Can anyone else shed some more light on this rumor?
We all remember the story of the pidgeon.
Just need a bit more patience here for the latest raise and ProstaGene acquisition to wrap up.
Some people are like pidgeons. They don’t care where they are or what they’re doing, they’re just going s@&t on everything.
I would give you a spoiler but we'll all know soon enough.
Thanks for your contributions!
That must be incredibly frustrating.. I, too, thought this thing would have been bought out already. I’m still stuck in the honeymoon(ish) phase in that I can’t stop checking on the company every day. Maybe that’s because of the % of my portfolio that CYDY takes up or my optimism in PRO 140 being one of the best drugs I’ve ever seen. You’ve been here much longer than I have, so I understand your endurance phase. I think the next few weeks could get very interesting (bet we’ve all heard this before). However, I say that because I suspect that once this latest Paulson raise wraps up, we’ll get PRs detailing the ProstaGene acquisition and maybe one where Klump pulls a money rabbit out of his magical hat.
They’re staggered because there have been several raises over the past years. I believe Saltz has some that are expiring this November. Mine expire in another 2.5 years. Most all of the warrants that have been issued through Paulson have a 5-year expiration. You would have to look at each individual filing to determine when each batch of warrants expire.
The $64,000 question. If/when you find out the answer to it, be sure to let us all know. I believe it has to do with the uncertainty of future financing because the science is a slam dunk.
Patience! I’m sure the man would like a say and insider information as to what’s happening with his money. Plus, we’re in the middle of a Paulson raise. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a number of PRs in the next 1-2 weeks.
With this mornings’ news, I think we will FINALLY see the last of Paulson after this last raise. I’m very excited to see what the next few weeks hold in store. (Im)patiently waiting...
We’ll say I believe the rumors.
Current share price has me nervous that Paulson won’t be able to raise the full amount. Wouldn’t be surprised if they adjust their offering, assuming it’s at .50c.
I had a vivid dream last night that the 700mg dose was effective for 90.59% of patients. Maybe it’s a sign that I’m following CytoDyn too much or maybe a premonition of something to come?
With regard to Paulson, my thought is that the company needed one last quick injection of cash before everything is finalized with ProstaGene and new financing (hopefully) is acquired.
Does anyone have a good, comprehensive list of what we are looking at for upcoming catalysts?
I believe we have, not necessarily in this order:
•Paulson raise
•Announcement of ProstaGene acquisition
•Posting of third party market valuation
•Update on GvHD
•Hopefully better financing with Pestell
Seems like there should be a number of announcements in very immediate future. Wouldn’t be surprised if they are trying to line them up all at once.
