Agreed, just sold more and will sell more momentarily. Clearly JP has no greater view than anyone else here - in fact that makes him even more dangerous; how do people like that sleep at night? Who else realized that JP should be ignored and knows nothing more than the local butcher, baker and candle stick maker about NEOM?
That does not answer the question - at all does it? If JP is not to be taken at face value, why should your statements? Its a fair question. Do you actually know nothing is coming out this week; or just assuming nothing is coming out this week?
Edited: You answered my question via an answer to Steelers question.
Tell me Steelers, why is that you do not question JP's statements? You seem to know him, how well, besides connected through NEOM, do you know him, if you do not mind me asking.
And how do YOU know that nothing major is occuring?
Yes I believe you maybe correct - having just realized the oracle of this board is what he is, I just sold more. How could I have not seen him for what he truly is before.
OT This disturbs me: I was just reading JP's posts to other boards; they are all up-beat. So my question to JP is simple: Do you only see good things where you look, or are you a pumper? And if not a pumper, why are all your posts, everywhere, up beat? You make statements in your posts to other boards about how other stocks should receive good news next week ect., how many companies are you tied to that closely that you can make such statements?
Faith? What do people say about blind faith.....
I agree it is not objective; as memory serves that blog is anti-NEOM for some time. Essentially that blog writer woke up a long time ago as to what NEOM is and what NEOM has and who runs NEOM.
Lets not go down that road as to who is 'in' and who is 'out'. Everyone who reads this board knows the dealing around here and who's words are taken as gossple and who's words are not. The only truly bad aspect of this board are the endless supply of articles about the industry without mention or connection to NEOM. There is one poster in particular who loves to post such articles, so when you see her moniker, just skip over it - she only likes upbeat input. In any event, the bloom is coming off this rose, and quick; I would say by the end of CTIA the bloom will not only be gone, but the stem will have withered and by the end of the quarter, the company's technology will be sold to the principles and they will take the furniture, the light bulbs and the technology to another firm. Remember I suggested it first that this is a bio-tech type play at hand here - so someone quote me in the future. If I am wrong, I will be happy to say so - but I do not think so, hence why I supply some shares everyday to the market. And oddly enough, the more I sell, the better I feel - it is not supposed to be that way when you hold such promise - but hey 'I know what I own'.
This is where the 'grain of salt' comes into play. Read the boards, look to some as experts, BUT never, NEVER, take what one person statements of truth and fact as actual truth and fact. If it were all true, then we would have a big launch with big companies - neither has occurred; and pilot / test launches prove that the system is still being 'tested' not launched. Lets face some real facts here - some on this board have mislead others to believe what is clearly not true. Enough said.
IMO, we can take it that the post from June of this year about the big launch and the platform working flawlessly was, what, simply a mistake or what else? What ever it was, JP now is looking to the 1st Q of '07. So, if you had faith in his posts before, then have faith in them now. If you did not have faith previously, and apparently and in my opinion, with good reasons, you now have another reason to see why faith can be misplaced and blind faith is wrong to have in anyone or any company. And this is not an attack on JP, I read his stuff ALWAYS, but take it all with a grain of salt for my own safety and preservation of capital.
Well now we are looking at 1st Q of '07? Do I take this to mean that the launch in this quarter is off; or that it will slower than expected and we can expect less in Q4 of this year as a result? It is precisley because of the ever-put-off-to-the-future aspect of this company that I continued selling each day last week, and again this morning. I would stop selling if either the launch actually occurred, or some good news actually came out, or the stock stopped getting pumps about the long term future (I've held for three years, and the short and mid term periods have now expired, I hold long - but not too long).
Has anyone else previously tried DELL in the wondow; and if so, when? I am interested in knowing, if it can be determined, when this particular input (DELL), went 'live'.
That is interesting; what brings you to type 'DELL' into the window?
That was my point a few weeks ago. I suggest that this company is being managed like a bio-tech stock which ultimately runs out of cash. What some bio-tech executives do is allow the company to run dry of cash, then they themsleves by the intellectual property or technology for next to nothing. Once they buy the technology for next to nothing, they position themselves with a new company, bringing with them the technology that was developed at the previous firm and for doing this they have a nice position with the new company, lots of options with the new company and are paid handsomly for the technology they brought with them. It seems this is a real possiblity, imo.
I agree with your assement on the points that the articles provide information about the mobile marketing space; and that it would be nice to see NEOM mentioned in something besides the local Ft. Myers papers. At the same time, I cannot help but think that if the technology is so paramont to the space, and we are ahead of the technology by leaps and bounds, that we would be mentioned in some articles. What bothers me the most are the companies that are getting print space, whereas we receive almost none. It could either indicate that we are a great secret about to be unleased, or that our postion in the space is not so great, and we can be by-passed with ease, possibly.
I'm in with you; they run a challenge like this, I TOO WILL PLACE 1% of the million - but a great idea like yours will never see the light of day at NEOM headquarters (it makes sense, there is a plan involved, things they do not seem to like until it is too late). But as I say, I'll put up 1% of the million for it. Seriously.
How many shares would they have to issue to raise a million dollars? Who would buy them?
We are in the middle of something, but I do not see that we are in the of anything actually. I did notice that NEOM is not mentioned in this artice; much like all the other articles posted to this board - we are not a part of any of the articles; save for the ones written in Ft, Myers newspapers.
You are correct, and I take back my statement that you made this up. Part of that post, a small part, IMO, I did post a warning to newbies about buying into this company. So you are correct, and I feel better since I know that I have warned others about the cheerleading that goes on around here from time to time.
Well, now you are just making things up. If I wrote that I was here to as you say 'warn newbies of this stock' well, good for me. But I do not believe I did. I believe I have writtten opinions, mine, about this stock, and that I had sold some, and that I continue to sell some. But if I have warned anyone of this company, then I feel better already.
I have not predicted anything regarding NEOM. I have stated my opinion and what actions I have taken. As to predicting, if I had predicted this, I would have sold everything; as it stands I still own some NEOM, and I have never suggested I could see the future. In fact, I have simply voiced concern about the current situation, which I believe is the purpose of a discussion board, is it not?
I do not understand your post ' that was his opinion based on nothing', who are you referring to, me, and what is based on nothing? I am not following your statement, would appreciate an explanation of it. Thank you.
Holly cow what has this board become? It is almost off topic to discuss it, but lets try the actual stock of NEOM for a moment: I do not believe that DrMike has caused the decline, but rather the failure of management to get things done. And, yes I think they have failed; they failed to get proper financings in place prior to having their backs against the wall (otherwise why accept such poor terms as recently shown). They failed to make the paint buisness a profitable 'cash cow'. They have failed to show they have signed any real deals with any significant partners. They have failed with their IR department, I cannot believe anyone with intelligence, finds speaking with IR to be beneficial. In fact, after speaking with IR, that is when I began selling - can anyone serioulsy question that decision (anyone who has spoken to IR that is). In short if IR is going to publicly represent NEOM, IMO, then you really have to question NEOM decisions.
Have you not figured it out yet; the partnering with themselves (auto) is THE LAUNCH. Whopeeee!!!! Maybe next week, they order a sandwich over the phone and say they are in the food catering business. We all know they served us for lunch.
Honestly, no.
Down just over 25%, what saved me more pain was selling some at the 200 moving average; and I have been selling in the past week as well.
When is this heart-to-heart to occur? Also, are you asking them questions that they can answer with 'yes' or 'no' and if you did, and they gave you the round-around, using excuses not to answer, would you tell us this? I am not asking about your honesty, in no way do I question that; what I am saying is simply, can you trust NEOM to be honest and forthwright and if things are bad would they admit it, or would they spin until even they believe it?
Ladies and gentlemen please I have a question: Does this business of NEOM doing business with itself (auto) constitute the BIG LAUNCH? On the one hand, it is in use, and it has been put out there for the puiblic. But is that what anyone was expecting? Also, how can the one line of 'pipeline full' be taken and turned around to possibly mean there are BIG named companies about to do business with us? I have to admit, even I had some hope the launch would be WAY bigger than this, if this is in fact it. And I am really surprised there are people here, intellegent people from thier writing ability, that have turned this into a countdown towards numberous PRs involing lots of companies. One line taken from a PR about our right hand doing business with our left hand is a disappointment. If they do not have some PR involving other companies this week, well how much hope can we carry?
Hey 8 Eights; I have two replies from you, but they were deleted before I was able to read them. Thank you for replying, I am sure they were usefull and constructive.
True enough; the problem is that it is usually only Cornell selling, and the rest of us buying; what does that tell you? I'm with Cornell on this one now, the only way to make money from this is to sell, but keep a little just in case there is a miracle.
Dr.Mike, I read your post the other day, which I beleive is bang on. I recommend everyone re-read it, so I am pasting it below for easy reference. Dr. Mike, thanks for the post.
"my analysis:
came back empty handed from China...no money..no press release
buyout prices of companies and our falling share price with a guarantee of more shares to the acquisitions added to dilution
HipCricket walked from a bankrupt co.
we lost the race against time
massive dilution planned for by management leaving our shares worthless---I said the company would do well and our shares would be worthless
why have they never raised money thru warrants to shareholders?
M_M pumps, and JP blowing the manhole covers and a party in Vegas and cashcow Micro Paint (no cash ooops) (renamed and re-promoted just like qode and PaperClick)and Hangdog's secret e-mail all pumped up the stock for one last time
Brewski is always right
word and name registry raised no funds with the first agency nor with the second, imo
I'm sure there are things I've forgotten but the falling share price creating massive dilution did us in. Shareholder approval sealed our fate and management and Cornell or someone will be around running the show long after we shareholders are gone with our worthless shares
Dr. Mike"
I agree it could be a terrible move, hence why I am selling 25% today, but hold the rest. If there is a launch and if they have some success or great success, then great, I still have 75% of what I own today. If on the other hand they have a delay in the launch ect ect, then at least I have reduced my position. Given where the price has gone, the circumstances that brought the price to this point, I beleive there is more risk in this company now than there was at $0.40 when I began to sell originally (crossed the 200 moving average)
Thats a good question; and you know I have only read one true news article where NEOM was mentioned in relation to the mobile industry - so I don't think it is something that can be guaged. But when I think about your question, it almost encourages me to sell more than 25% of my holding today (the plan was to sell 25% today, and I'm almost there - mentioned since you mentioned you were not selling, thus I am above board with how I feel and what action I am taking)
When others are making note they are buying more - is that how you reply to them? Have the same respect for those who want out as those who want in.
I agree with your comments and gave those types of thoughts great consideration prior to placing the sells this morning. However, when a company has to accept the terms they accepted with Cornell, there can be no queston they are in a desperate situation. For the situation to turn around I would have to believe that in 30 days they launch their product, then create great sales and cash flow so they can pay off this latest loan. Which means I would have to wait this coming quarter and into the next quarter to see the numbers realized, assuming there is no delay in the launch. Do I have faith there will be a launch, no. Do I trust this management team, no. Has management shown they have no regard for shareholders, and they cannot implement their plan as proof of their past 'launches', and top that off with a cash crunch so great they cannot get a bank loan at terms you or I can. No, I waited and watched long enogh; the writing is on the wall; I beleive this stock goes off the charts - right to zero in the end.
Have some more, I have lots for sale (no pun intended).
More than happy to; better to take some loss compared to a complete loss.
I hope you are right; I've been selling this morning and would like to unload more of this trash. I only mention this since when peple here are buying they let us know, I thought it only right to let people know there are those of us selling.
Thank you your efforts, much appreciated. This home stretch has been far too long in coming; I simply want a bit higher price and I am happily out, hopefully, IMO, before they go bankrupt by the end of the year the way I see it.
