Nice exposure for adnas...Brockway quoted on beauty and tech:
6-global-consumer-trends-and-brands-that-are-out-in-front-of-them-in-2019
I didnt see this linearx website before:
www.linearxdna.com
It's not supplychainmanagers imho to to judge and decide on why and how this tech could/should be applied where... ah, u all know where I stand.
There will be (or presumably is already) a need for a global body/platform to keep life proven real and safe.
In case you havent seen it before: 23 min talk by Leanne Kemp Everledger to grasp what central role an unhackable, ultimate scalable, foulproof productiontech based, forensic "there to stay" identifying, digitaltwin accompanying, physical proof of origin giving, safe, generally accepted as proof in court tag could do for diamonds....
And what and where and when else?
Leanne Kemp
It is good to have coops with these startups
Especially for you McSharkey:
dna-tagging-detects-counterfeit-equipment
Rekoop Amazon as of march
According to GHCL, that already sells their new brand AURAA on Amazon, Rekoop will be sold on Amazon as of march 2019
Interesting newssite on mostly PET and other polymer related products and recyclinginitiatives...everyone is on this it seems
polyestertime
Now a way to insure safe shipment of whatever plastic. Last week 27 (!) seacontainers fell of a giant ship near the northern shore (and an immense wildlifeterritory) of my country, polluting the dutch coast with ALL kinda plastic junk....the from foam originated microplastics (billions of tiny pieces) being the most dangerous and devastating for nature and all living creatures...for decades. Very sad yet again.
Attention all! GHCL's new beddi gline now specifies exactly what's in it. I like the concept very much. So the question now is... Is and or will all fabric/fiber in those textiles (be) tagged?
Supima, BCI, Oekotex, Lenzing etc. definitely linked with Adnas.
Cirkularity.com is now with whom all brands in the world should partner...Those partnerships will define Adnas' succes in textile....which I believe to be inevitable. Wonder how many contracts are already, and will soon be signed. I feel good.
Also this piece on Everledgers and Adnas's coop sheds light (but its already from 5 months ago):
everledger-blockchain-provenance-dna-tagging
This comprehensive overview sketches blockchain in relation to transparency, traceability of supplychains:
Deloitte: food-labeling-laws-iot-blockchain
So read upto "tagging" and you will understand that tags upto the the smallest entities (raw materials) are needed to trace at all. Relying on qr codes, barcodes etc. IS and WILL be insufficient in relation to tampering, dilluting, replacing or copying these less sophisticated not-inherent identifiers. Still believe SignatureDNA is the unbreakable golden standard. Its only a matter of time imho it will be used realtime like rfid now is.
I think your comprehension of what blockchain in itself is and does is insufficient, hence your comment. Sure, there are companies feeling at ease enough with just distributed recording of transactions and ownership, but one always will need an identifier to link the digital record with the physical goods, cause without it there is NO assurance of the physical good being the original, true, pure, undilluted stuff. Why you think Everledger, in itself a blockchainbased platform using Hyperledger hooked up with adnas? Does a company find it important enough to 100% know for sure the stuff is indeed the stuff relies on many things, in case of which diamonds or other gems, cannabis, medicine and LOTS of other things seem nobrainers. Polymers, fiber, textile? Maybe. I would surely know to be selling the real stuff in light of possible recalls and clasaction lawsuits when apparently its pretty easy to test for and prove fakes. Wonder how the lawsuits against Welspun, Walmart will spin out.
BtoB, BtoC, governments, lawenforcement, consumers will insist to know certain things for sure, ESPECIALLY when ownership will be recorded for ever with blockchainlike techs.
All mho
I think so too... Been saying for years the manipulation is targetted to hauling in retail and than diminishing retail% in the stock. Extreme measures apparently are the way to do the latter.
Feels like screwed big time already.
Yeah Mike...got my hopes up too, totally against all seeming red flags and accompanying pps decline and lack of substamtial (news about) revs. I once (no, more times) predicted some sudden afterhour peak opening ten fold or more. Actually pretty frustrated about tradehalt today, cos I had again some orders lined up.
We'll see. The till now substantial loss is too high for too long to feel down anymore even though I managed to average down...but I wasnt ready yet doing more of that.
Bullish to the max all!
All in my head. Have a good holiday and a splashing new year everyone, regardless of whatever outcome
Same to you Mickeyboy and all in here...gonna buy me some around 1 today again.
Its governments ability to disti guish and collect taxes on controlled legal stuff that should be the trigger...
I remember you asking me and I don't remember saying that investors win regardless the pps going up or down... R u having me confused with someone else?
I have several reasons not to sell regardless of pps movement, of which the main reason is my future picture of a world wherein all kinds of applications of adnas tech are viable, valuable, nessecary and/or "the only way to know for sure". That is all imho and all in my head. See me as a fanatic fan, an irrational dreamer or a too hopefull wishfull thinker with the tendency to dig in and with little affinity for "markets" and powers enacting in those. Purpose drives me and I am just too hooked to step out...mostly emotionally.
Have I answered your question of "under which scenario I would sell"?
You could try persuade me with some offer...but than again you don't seem interested in owning stock. I do wonder why you track adnas for so long already btw, as the average tone of your contributions to this board largely seem to contradict the reason for it just shared by you...
All swell my friend.
The LinearX sheets you posted I am trying to get them viral a bit at LI through help of some contacts...dont know if it will happen.
It's a U turn from a security and anticounterfeit perspective, as was "proven recycling" a bit too. Its not bad needing to ensure questioners about the Adnas/LinearX link and I don't agree with Parkmart on disregarding supplychains, cotton and security from now on. I think the future will combine DNA vaccins with CertainT so to speak.
Staying long and adding bits still
Thats a good find Mike

I'd like to think of this Textile Exchange video as a nice peek into an "all fibers tagged" future
Textile Exchange preferred fiber benchmark
Thanks
Excuse my screwup on the numbers all...its not 300.000 square meters of course (how I read this is a mystery)...
So 300.000.000/10.76 = 27.88 mln square meters. Sure Park its about 6.5 mln cows? Sure seems a lot of square meters (27.88 mlb / 6.5 mln = about 4.3 square meters) per cow....although it might just be right.
So how many cents/bucks per cow?
I wouldnt know, but it sure will depend on the average cattlecount per farm supplying hides...thinking a unique tag per farm (not animal) is what is to be traced back.
A guestimated hunch (imho) would be a couple of bucks per hide excl. servicefees...an average hide being 1.5 to 2 square meters? Half a million usd for the mentioned 300.000 square meters in delivering the joyjuice. No idea about what else besides occasional testing would bring in some money...anyone?
Thank you Mike.
Came across this piece, and when indeed the foodgiants are less active in cannabis patentfiling, but the chemical, fragrance and flavorgiants are, than adnas might indirectly benefit from those, cos I believe us to be close more to the latter (BASF, Dupont etc.)...
cannabis-patent-filings-increase via LinkedIn
I presume an increase of these kinda PRs now the added value has been proven in multitude. I say: buckle up for a, probably bumpy and too much time taking ride up.
These Denim results could explain the little fridaypeak...
Let those tagged cotton orders come through I'd say
109 wamsutta/Pimacott hits at BB&B is certainly a lot more than the initial amount.
I think its interesting to see that GHCL Rekoop data points from CertainT have a connection with SAP (see the video)...and SAP has been very briefly exposed earlier in the Phili traceability summit Miglani went to in 2016...SAP being mentioned as 1 of 4 sponsors of that event, next to Adnas, Rockwell and Atlantic Zeiser.
When big IT/ERP/data/cloud giants are already or getting more familiar with the joyjuice and indirectly cooperating with "our" platform/tags/sensors(?)...that is very GOOD imho
BTW: anyone noticed IBM buying RedHat for 32 bln?
And.... I bought some more today
Let's have a Massive (sales) Attack than (just 4 fun post)

Mike, rember Dr Grazz from Turbobeads and ETH Zurich?
Of course...agreeing 100%
And in the meantime I like to seek for possible future opportunities, markets, relevant developments simply because I'm hooked on the tech and applications. Don't get me wrong: I am hooked financially as well and few like to see adnas thrive more than I do. I just dont have a short term scope
abcd-quartet-of-grain-traders-partner-to-digitize-global-trades
Could this quartet perhaps know what our joyjuice could do for this digitized, blockchainbased global graintrade...just asking.
circulate-capital-announces-us90-million-in-expected-funding-to-combat-ocean-plastic
That is an alliance where adnas could be an interesting addon. Pepsico AND Cocacola AND several otber competitors as well. Tag that PET and other Oceanplastic!
Cannatech conference in Sydney Australia with Theracan and ETCH Biotrace presenting...
Pretty interesting I'd say
MeilinWan was in Taipeh Summit this week too. Seems the Adnas site isnt complete in regard to Summits, conferences etc.
