BLOZF LONG.
One must first understand the pulmonary anatomy to understand the exchange of compounds between blood and breath.
Within the lungs, your bronchi branch into thousands of smaller, thinner tubes called bronchioles. These tubes end in bunches of tiny round air sacs called alveoli (al-VEE-uhl-eye).
Each of these air sacs is covered in a mesh of tiny blood vessels called capillaries. The capillaries connect to a network of arteries and veins that move blood through your body.
The pulmonary (PULL-mun-ary) artery and its branches deliver blood rich in carbon dioxide (including VOC'S ) to the capillaries that surround the air sacs. Inside the air sacs, carbon dioxide (including any VOC'S) move from the blood into the air. At the same time, oxygen moves from the air into the blood in the capillaries.
The oxygen-rich blood then travels to the heart through the pulmonary vein and its branches. The heart pumps the oxygen-rich blood out to the body.
Hope this helps...

I agree, and there may be reasons why Cannabix cannot be named.
The mere mention of a cannabis breathalyzer by Prof Huestis at a scientific conference is VERY EXCITING!!!

Shell, AMG - Congratulations! and Thank you for all the world class due diligence over the past few years and especially for keeping it real.
Congratulations to all the longs!!! you know who you are!
Throttle UP Smoki!!!
The first person to comment on the article hit the nail on the head.
The post was up briefly last evening, by the time I responded it had already been removed. If I remember correctly it simply read
"Lots of lawsuits" or something to that effect.
The post is in reply to a post that was deleted.
Someone made a reference to a "lawsuit". Just wondering if the individual found something of substance and would elaborate.
Lawsuits? Did someone say lawsuits?
Management and their irresponsible behavior to it's shareholders -
Most here understand the risk involved investing in technology start-ups especially in the open sewers commonly known as the OTC, however, that doesn't justify the complete and blatant disregard of fiduciary duty perpetrated by the company's executive board.
As the lack of direction, lack of transparency and lack of leadership continues, management is squandering a world class technology including a licensing agreement worth hundreds of millions while simultaneously discrediting the renowned scientists who spent decades developing the technology.
The red flags include:
No corporate transparency regarding product development or a business model moving forward.
No interim replacement for Guy Latorre who unexpectedly resigned Sept 20, in a cloud of skepticism and the mystery continues to this day.
Management's refusal to update its website. Typically, technology companies consider their websites to be their front-line media exposure and budget significant resources updating and maintaining them. Like shareholder value, it should be considered a priority.
Should I continue?
Management's "go to" response to inquiries simply quoting the disclaimer found on every press release is no longer an acceptable answer. Their lack of accountability and carelessness undermines the advanced technology and capital investment they control.
Pitiful...

Agree!
The subjective nature of testimony provided by Police officers trained as "drug recognition experts" is being scrutinized by legal teams and being determined as flawed.
Blood and urine testing poses it's own set of challenges for law enforcement regarding search warrants and privacy issues, not to mention the broad detection window. In addition, studies indicate current oral swab tests as acceptable but not perfect.
Breath analysis is the logical answer. The technology enables responsible adults to medicate or use cannabis recreationally while providing law enforcement the tool they need to keep our roads safe.
Buckle up, this is going to be YUGE!

Current testing methods does come with its challenges -
Over the past year or so during this time of growing aceptance, we've witnessed several reports that either debunk or question the viability of current testing methods. Weather it has to do with accuracy or the tests invasive nature, breath analysis seems to be seen by many as the logical method of impairment detection.

Massachusetts high court says sobriety tests aren't evidence for pot use.
http://colorado-dui.com/duiblog/duid-marijuana-rx-illegal-drugs/mass-high-court-says-sobriety-tests-arent-evidence-for-pot-use/
"Under a unanimous ruling by the Supreme Judicial Court, Massachusetts police officers can no longer cite their subjective on-scene observations or sobriety tests to conclude in court testimony that a driver was under the influence of marijuana."
The practice of training police officers as "drug recognition experts" and using their subjective testimony in court is being questioned.
The big take-away here is that for the government to introduce something as science, it actually has to be science.
