Ive been hearing the same things for years, trips are coming, no bid coming, the end is near, spiral to zero..yet we are still here
That is cool, except its not a 747
I don't know if anyone has called yet. If not we could call any random smployee with nothing to do with baltias certification and see what they say
The FAA reported a slide failed? You may want to check who fills out an SDR and reports what to who.
Now russia is at war with nato huh?
Clearly you do not understand how close turkey and russia are financially.

Putin Pushes Back: How Russia Is Responding to Turkey’s Downing of Fighter Jet
The Fiscal Times
Rob Garver 1 hour 49 minutes ago
One day after Turkish forces shot down a Russian fighter jet near the Syrian border in an incident that set the U.S. and NATO on edge, Moscow has rolled out a multi-prong response.

On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered advanced air defense missiles systems to be deployed at the Russian air base in Latakia, Syria, which is roughly 30 miles from the Turkish border. The S-400 missile can protect aircraft from aerial threats within a range of 250 miles.
Russian fighters will also now be accompanied by Su-30SM Flanker jets during airstrikes within Syria. The moves bolster Moscow’s earlier decision to move the Moskva guided-missile cruiser, which also boasts anti-air systems, off the coast of Latakia.

“It will be ready to destroy any aerial target posing a potential danger to our aircraft,” Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a meeting with military officials, the Associated Press reported.
Those moves make up only part of Russia’s response to the incident that Putin has called a “crime” and a “stab in the back,” despite multiple reports that the aircraft was warned at least 10 times to leave Turkish airspace.
A further military escalation appears unlikely, as neither Russia nor NATO have reason to want the incident to spiral into war, but Putin’s government is also taking steps to put a financial squeeze on Anakara. Russia has launched an informal tourist embargo on Turkey, and many of Russia’s biggest travel firms have reportedly stopped selling trips to Turkish resorts. More than 4 million Russian tourists visit Turkey each year; a prolonged boycott could be a major blow to the country’s tourism sector and its overall finances.
The Kremlin hasn’t expressly banned companies from selling Turkish vacations but the Foreign Ministry has advised Russian citizens, in stark terms, to avoid the country for safety reasons.

Putin said the warning was necessary.
“After what happened yesterday, we cannot rule out other incidents, and if they occur one way or another we will have to react. And our citizens in Turkey, of course, could be exposed to considerable danger, and the foreign ministry is obliged to talk about that,” he said.
Meanwhile, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported that Russian lawmakers have introduced legislation to hold to account anyone who denies the Armenian genocide. The bill is meant to embarrass Ankara on the global stage for its continued refusal to acknowledge the massacres, which lasted from 1915 to 1917 and are believed to have killed more than 1 million Armenians, as a genocide.

Only 18 countries label the event as a genocide, including France, which has started to coordinate with Russia’s war machine in Syria after the recent ISIS attacks in Paris that killed 130 people. French President Francois Hollande is slated to visit Moscow on Thursday as part of a global tour to press allies to do more in the fight against the extremist group.
It’s possible that Russia’s response to the shooting could expand into other economic areas like trade. In a televised briefing, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Moscow would “seriously reassess” relations with Ankara.
Inept and clueless pilots fly while drunk. However Baltia has proven sober pilots ready and capable of flying as required for 121 certification. BALTIA WILL FLY
Do you have verifiable proof baltia only has 3 pilots?
Wait a minute, you mean there has to be pilots to gly the plane? Im so glad that the FAA requires pilots to fly a plane, I never could have figured that out on my own. You know now that I think about it, I feel like that was mentioned when I became a pilot.
Last month the plane couldn't fly. It flew, so now the pilots quit. What rumor will be started next that there is no proof of?
Its is a SOBERING experience to think about what is going to come as Baltia grows. Im DRUNK with the excitement of the future
As far as anyone knows Baltia still has all of its flight crews, who are sober and ready to go
If an answer to mini 7 has not been given than the "fact" of 7 fails is opinion and not fact as you stated.
There are no PR's when there is nothing to PR and it would be ridiculous to PR every little thing. If they did a person who does not believe in BLTA would call it random hype.
Funny how a person could spin any situation to look negative.
I think that is actually a fair time line given holidays and the fact I don't think there will be enough people on hand to turn and burn 100 hours of flights, even though we have the pilots for it.
I would be happy to see proving runs start early in January, if they did I could see revenue flights starting Q2.
I don't think anyone should expect the proving flights to go fast, not after this example of how quickly the FAA will work with Baltia.
Of course if everything happened tomorrow I would be good with that also.
So it looks like to me that with the NLG swap followed by the Christmas holidays, we most likely will not see proving flights until January 2016
You have to pay debt, operating loss is not the same as debt. Baltia carries very little debt, even for a start up airline
My name states my position and my belief baltia will eventually fly, just not while drunk.
The share price would be 3 times higher at a dime a dozen, fid we turn over a new leaf?
Kinda like NO drinking and flying
Is this in addition to the 9.3 million at 1300, i see it where im looking, unless anothere 9.3 million took the volume to over 30 million, can u clarify
When you look at volume you look at shares not the dollar amount, especially on penny stocks. Yes today was low volume for baltia but average volume is only 40-50k. Liquidity is maintained in share volume not dollars and cents there is too much manipulation especially with naked shorting in the OTC to look at dollar amount
In order to remain current a pilot must have 3 take-offs and 3 landings to a complete stop in the previous 90 day period.
Recurrent training in a flight simulator of the same type for the aircraft to be used meets this requirement.
So if the pilots are not flying at all than after 90 days they need to complete recurrent training if during that 90 day period they have not had the 3 take offs and landings.
The United States Airforce flies planes that are over 50 years old and they are not antiques....just sayin
If you don't want to look them up in a long text you can use a dictionary also. If you don't know what that is or how to use it get a thesaurus and work your way forward.
Here's a thing or two about business and finance, but since you know about business you should have heard these words before.
Collateral
Lien
If you missed that day you can look it up, it really helps one to understand secured dent and unsecured debt
When I looked at the pictures I did see the both the fore and the right aft slides deployed. I am not rated on that plane and do not know every slide by heart but I do not think the wing slides were even attempted, which given the situation was probably best. Wind and smoke may have caused the crew to opt not to use the left aft slide.
I did in one picture see a right over wing exit open, no slide, do not know if it was during or after.
We will have to wait for the report on this one.
In addition we don't know the quality of this charter flights maintenance ptogram at all.
Don't jump to conclusions too quickly, for 3 reasons.
1. Age may very well be no factor and newer planes crash also. Sadly most planes crashes are pilot error.
2. As mentioned before, newer planes crash also.
3. This is the most important, the Islamic State has already stated it shot the plane down. The plane was lost radar contact at cruising altitude, meaning it came down very fast, most technical difficulties don't cause a plane to just fall out of the sky.
May be, as in maybe or maybe not. It clearly states that you could not that you will.
I have noticed a lot of things also, I see it here frequently. Someone asks a question, for example what a market mover is. After a basic answer they post everyday about how market movers are at it again.
I some one has knowledge please share, but don't try to become an expert of the board cause you read Wikipedia.
I can speak intelligently as a fireman and as a pilot, I have a clue about slides but i definitely don't know everything. Hell just yesterday Firestream educated me on some details of our slides I was unaware of, and not argument followed, I simply stand corrected.
My point is when people persist on what they don't really know about, they give potential fuel to the attempt of lighting the discredit fire.
Ok I'm done now,
I would also add that SDR's are not completed by the FAA it is completed by Baltia so people trying to use it as the FAA saying fail are way off.
On a side bar, Marlin Monroe, is the the ghost of Marilyn Monroe asking about the delay, I wouldn't answer that either.
I don't need convincing. I don't invest on rumor. As for speculation Im not sure you understand what the stock market is, its where you buy stock based on a speculation that it will increase in value. Some have more risk than others, in the end its all speculation though.
The real problem is that no matter what is said or when it will never be good enough for you. That message was not for you or to convince you.
It was for long shareholders like me and firestream and the such.
I don't know what is going on. I have noticed people say they get no written answers. I just noticed you said appeal which means they failed but are fighting it. Not sure if you had heard something.
An appeal means that the decision is in question by baltia. The only decision that would be questioned is a fail. So if it is in appeal like you stated here than it m3ans baltia received the answer already and i was a fail, now they are fighting it. This is no what Baltia told me last time i called. Do you have information we don't.
If the jury is still out you don't file appeals.
Well they have done a good job cause its way down today
I really hope baltia gets a court order to identify who set that up and someone gets charged.
3 mini's or 3000 mini's, doesn't matter if they don't give us an answer with them.
Well I have run out of things to do waiting so I started looking at the SDR to see maybe if I could find something that would help me figure out why the delay, what is it that makes Baltias case so hard it takes this long to get an answer.
The harder I look the more I could not find any reason for Baltia's case to be so complicated that it takes months on months to review and get an answer. I'm very disappointed in the delay like everyone else, so I'll spend my time waiting by seeing if I can uncover anything else.
One thing I do hope is that people who see these post I am throwing out will realize if they have not already the slide issues over and over does not make Baltia incompetent, I have proven this now with major airlines unable to get their slides to work over and over.
In the last 56 days there has been 90 SDR's filed on escape slide issues. That equals 1.6 slide malfunctions a day. Airframe's with issues in the last 56 days include:
Boeing 717
MD-88 (now boieng, formerly Mcdonald Douglas)
ERJ-170 (embraer regional jet)
MD-90
Boeing 757
Boeing 737
Airbus 320
Airbus 321
MD-11
MD-10
Boeing 747 (no not Baltia's)
Airbus 319
Airbus 330
ERJ 190
DC-9
And 1 SDR with company and airframe type not reported.
HOW IS THIS ONLY A BALTIA PROBLEM AGAIN????????
Here are some of my favorite descriptions of slide problems in these last 56 days:
American Airlines: THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT BEGAN TO OPEN THE L1 SLIDE, SLIDE DID PULL FROM THE SLIDE HOUSING BUT DID NOT INFLATE. R & R 1L DOOR ESCAPE SLIDE ASSEMBLY IAW MCM 25-94-12.
Allegiant Air: L1, R1, L2, R2, L4, R4 DOOR SLIDES PACK, INCORRECTLY INSTALLED. REMOVED & CHANGED LOCATION OF SURVIVAL KIT ATTACH STRAPS TO CORRECT POSITION IAW AMM 25-66-01. OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD. REMOVED BUSTLE & CORRECTLY PLACED SURVIVAL KIT STRAPS IAW AMM 25-66-01. OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD. PLACED D RING ON SLIDE BUSTLE AS REQUIRED IAW AMM 25-66-01, OK FOR SERVICE.
Air carrier name not reported, type of aircraft not reported: (CAN) INFLATION LANYARD/RETAINING LINE IMPROPERLY PACKED CAUSING SNAG HAZARD. UNAPPROVED BREAK CORD ON CASE PIN WITH ALLOWS CONTAINER TO OPEN. DIFFUSER CAP OVER PRESSURE SAFETY BLOW OFF VALVE, NOT INSTALLED IN INFLATION SYSTEM BREAK PIN MISSING FROM INFLATION VALVE WHICH RISKS UNPLANNED INFLATION OF LIFE RAFT IMPROPERLY PACKAGED WHICH RISKS DAMAGE TO PRODUCT DURING INFLATION MISSING TEMPERATURE VS PRESSURE CHART ON OUTSIDE OF CONTAINER DAMAGE TO CONTAINER CAUSING DAMAGE TOLIFE RAFT IN 2 LOCATIONS IMPROPER EQUIPMENT IN SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT PACK NO INDICATION ON OR INSIDE THE PRODUCT OF WHO SERVICED THIS PREVIOUSLY, COMMON INDUSTRY PRACTICE TO LABEL BUT NOT REQUIRED BY MFG.
Federal express: AFTER BLOCK IN, FIRST OFFICER DISARMED BOTH DOORS & CRACKED OPEN DOOR 1R. ONCE CREW STAIRS WERE IN PLACE, GND CREW OPENED 1R, AT WHICH TIME THE EMER SLIDE FELL OUT OF THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR, BUT DID NOT INFLATE. REMOVED 1R DOOR ESCAPE SLIDE FROM ACFT IAW AMM 25-66-01-4. ENTRY DOOR EMERGENCY POWER RESERVOIR DEPLETED. REPLACED SLIDE ASSEMBLY IAW AMM 25-66-01-4. OK FOR SERVICE.
American Airlines: RON, DURING R1 DOOR SLIDE CHANGE FOR TIME, NEW SLIDE WAS FOUND TO BE BAD FROM STOCK DUE TO A DETACHED MOORING LINE.
American Airlines: L1 DOOR SLIDE PARTIALLY DEPLOYED DURING DOOR OPENING. DOOR ASSIST BOTTLE DISCHARGED. DOOR SLIDE PACK FELL OUT, BUT DIDNOT DEPLOY. REINSTALLED SLIDE IAW MM 25-66-01 & CARD 25-94-34.
And the list goes on and on, so tell me why again there is speculation this is a unique Baltia problem????
If you want to prove it was a fail than simply use a freedom of information act request to get the FAA to release the certification packet to you. It's a public company and the FAA decisions are public record, they would be required by law to show you all the fail documents that you can then post here.
Maybe its time for a little freedom of information act requests to see what paperwork the FAA is really trying to throw around and who and why they won't make a decision.
Maybe someone should contact the DOT IG for fraud waste and abuse. There is something odd about this whole situation, these slide issues are so common its actually gone from not even funny to scary. Since Baltia's last mini evac there has been like 200 SDR's on slide, some of which are even slides that failed to deploy correctly, yet all those air carriers still fly without question. Why use this as an excuse to prevent Baltia from moving forward, a simple redeploy that door and show us it works correctly now should be good. All others in the industry only have to say that they fixed it, they don't have to prove it, so something is not completely adding up here and I don't feel it is with Baltia.
