Dude. He’s an accountant. Get over it
You’re wary of a CFO that literally has zero influence?? Yikes
What in the world are you talking about?
Nooooooo one assumes wrong. Trxc submitted it bc they already had it from Europe. 510k just has to prove one way or another, that it is as safe and efficacious as comparable products in that segment.
Great read...thanks for sharing!
If Mayo got one, that would be great for PR purposes. They do need a bariatric surgeon doing studies bc it is a HUGE market, as scalpel and some others on here can attest. It’s an even bigger market if they can develop a highly functional 60mm stapler that is cost effective.
Valid points but Id support them more if they didnt have Valvo in the fold, Lee Swanstrom from Oregon and Boyd/Litwin, who they LITERALLY just added at a time when they were clearly moving forward with the current plan. Nicholson had been in negotiations for months. To my knowledge, Mayo Clinic uses all Medtronic/Covidien...just like SAIL does. A little conspiracy theory here, but this would make sense to cut these folks out bc of their institutions ties to Covidien/Medtronic.
Looks like some changes on the Surgeon Advisory Board...Julieane Bingener-Casey is gone...was on there for a long time. She is at Mayo...which is HIGHLY associated with Medtronic. Medtronic owns Covidien...interesting that she’s been tied to Titan for so long, is at Mayo...and is now gone.
Quite the opposite close compared to Friday. What a bummer but I’ll take the uptick regardless
Some profit taking today, which is fine. We need more news to push this up to .50
Yeah you’re completely wrong on this. I’ve watched many companies double in hours. No idea where you’re getting this from. We have quadrupled in about two weeks.
Booooooooyah!
The rampant close on Friday is a sign, to me, that the interest is very strong. I expect into the .40s tomorrow
I think they try their hardest to do it organically
I was going to say the same thing. And I called it that they timed this perfect after a day or TRXC tanking.
Now...what happens next week??
I think I got the last order of the day there....34 cents...damn funds wouldn’t go through.
If I’m reading this correctly, this was a coordinated effort by a group of surgeons that created an investment group and broached titan.
The lack of warrants tells me that titan doesn’t need to beg people anymore. They must be showing the robot to these smaller investment groups and people are buying it. My guess is, we see more of these. Great news.
Also key takeaway...no warrants this time. Less dilution
Looks like a pretty positive response so far, which is rare when financing is announced
HUGE NEWS...im sure these robotic surgeons were already invested...and put even more money into this? Come on...this is INCREDIBLE news, IMO...shows massive amounts of confidence in SPORT. It also shows that titan is getting creative with financing and opening it’s doors more to the medical community. You’ve now brought key surgeons into the fold, which will result in great influence at their hospitals. Very IMPRESSIVE
Lol exactly! I guess the premise has always been feeling the tension on sutures. Doing a prostatectomy is a prime example of tension. I’ve seen a ton of prostates done and I’m not sure haptics will increase the success rate
Thank you for chiming in. I wanted to say this earlier, but I’m not a surgeon and didn’t want to come across as one. When I speak to other surgeons, Haptics are looked at as “whatever”...not a game changer
How is it a quicker docking time when you need to position four pieces? The XI is very fast...you’re full of shit
If I’m titan, I’m sitting on news until TRXC slows down. A lot of would be titan investors may be tapping into the upswing there. Let them slow, release news here and watch the sellers there flock here for the next wave. Just my two cents
I want bareknuckle with Honeycomb....jk.
Wait...Senhance is a great technology? LOL why? You work in the OR...or at least used to, so you have to realize how that mammoth does not fit into the idea of innovative...or great....or really anything other than a sloppy me 2. Not a single nurse, surgeon, or rep ive spoken to about this said a positive thing. Can money be made here in the short term? Absolutely...but that thing offers nothing compared to ISRG outside of dropping their pants with price.
2. Being the most prevalent point, IMO
Correct...and they are bringing in surgeons by the droves right now to train on SP
Agreed
Just putting this out there, they are going to be way ahead of schedule. If the units are in place right now, pig studies take a few months at worst...they can fly through this. Under promise over deliver
I’d say in next two weeks we should see something
Nope. Imagine it’ll start flowing soon
I thought their service contracts were 500k for 5 years but I could be wrong. That may have been the original and it’s two year agreements now.
Also, hospitals will be incredibly interested in the shelf life of the arms compared to ISRGs. They are built to last forever with a recommended use twice that of davincis at half the cost. Game over.
The hope would be that titan can snipe orders that were meant for intuitive. The new XI is 2.3 million plus. If hospitals can save 700k plus, they’ll devote that capital spent to titan.
12????? I could sell 12 of the in Philadelphia area alone...thats an incredibly underwhelming number!
The smart strategy would be to bring in decision makers from key institutions from around the country and secure pre-orders to generate sales. This can be done way ahead of launch and it looks great for companies interested in acquiring titan.
I didn’t see that. I think we go it alone...FYI.
