One of my rules of thumb...when NITE's buying, I'm buying. However, when they're throwing around a large bid number, larger than the other mm's, I'll usually just watch. I'm always suspect of mm's with an oversized bid or ask.
Many times, NITE's bid is the bottom. If the PPS hasn't reached their bid price, there's a good chance that it soon will.
As for after the divy, ask RCP, he's got all the answers.
Agreed...and the "on or about" part doesn't help much either.
Is there any chance the 1 for 10 R/S of EVSI comes after our 1 for 50 divy thingy?
RCP, you surprise me...you're sounding like someone who's had his "Richard" stepped on lately.
RCP, why would you say the the shares of EVSI are worth .008 right now? Because of the R/S factor of 10? That's not true. Theoretically, the R/S will decrease your share count by a factor of 10 but at the same time the PPS will increase by a factor of 10, yielding a net change of 0.
Yes, but unfortunately the SEC has not been holding MM's accountable for short positions on most pinks and bb stocks. So, in other words, the shorts have to cover ... but only if they feel like it. I've seen it so many times and wouldn't count on anything different here.
RCP! WHY DO YOU KEEP ARBITRARILY DELETEING MY POSTS AND REFUSE TO DISCUSS YOUR REASONS?!?!?!?!
Nah, He ain't out. He's quit the board before...lasted a few hours I think. Now, does he WISH he had gotten out? lol
RCP...I hate to be picky but you LOVE to be picky.
Well, its nice to see you coming out of your little funk anyway
RCP is the mystery man of very few words lately but he's got a hair trigger on that 'delete' gun of his. I only wished you let that go just a few more rounds, those were the first posts today that made me crack a smile.
You're right. Sorry to put words in your mouth.
Surely there's GOT to be a silver lining with this PR.
...looks to me they've spelled everything OK...and the grammer, its at a 4th grade reading level or better
You've been quite froggy the past few days...everything OK?
Uh...he said he already sent it. What's the problem with it? He's frustrated like many.
OT - Hey RCP, how about at least a PM regarding my 3 most recent posts?
OT - JB, posting your non-HISC buy recommendations on this board may seem like a friendly tip to some, but others may interpret it as front loading and taking advantage of your influence over the members of this forum for your own financial gain.
JMO from the outside looking in.
Dude! Have YOU tried reading any of your posts? Do they make sense to you!
Damn! last post...oh well, smoke a big stogie for 90 minutes...be back after midnight :)
Well put! Should be one for the "memorable posts area". Too bad it'll be deleted!
Spence, you miss your Ritalin tonight? Your ranting is doing our cause no good. Think of the new investors! lol
BTW...please don't ever PM me with any mention of Hitler, Nazi or Jewish references!
You talking to anyone, or just the voices?
Uh, You're stammering again!
Again, another one of your posts has me saying, "Huh?"
RCP, If I posted this about you, approximately how long do you think it would take you to delete it? You're once again losing your objectivity. As if...lol!
Settle down Spence! And enough of the Hitler/Nazi reference...some may find that offensive.
My goodness! That's a lot of words! Fugetaboutit!
xan,
do me a favor and delete post 161096. Obviously the wrong board. Thanks
Surely you've heard that story is several years old, and I believe its also known to be fiction.
Maybe...maybe not...
On April 18, 2006, after the trading of Vitesse common stock had been halted, the Company issued a press release entitled ``Vitesse Announces Appointment of Special Committee to Investigate Timing of Stock Option Grants.'' The following day, Vitesse shares plunged more than 32% from the prior day's close of $3.11 per share, to a closing price of $2.48 per share. A little over a week later, after the market closed on April 26, 2006, the Company issued another press release entitled ``Vitesse Announces That Its Reported Financial Statements Should Not be Relied Upon and that it has Engaged An Acting Chief Financial Officer.'' The following day, Vitesse shares plunged 23.5% with a closing price of $1.83 per share.
A class action lawsuit has been filed by Pomerantz Haudek Block Grossman & Gross LLP (http://www.pomerantzlaw.com) (``Pomerantz'') in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, against Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation (``Vitesse'' or the ``Company'') (NasdaqNM:VTSS - News) and certain of its officers, on behalf of purchasers of the common stock of the Company during the period from October 23, 2003 to April 26, 2006, inclusive (the ``Class Period''). The complaint alleges violations of Sections 10(b) and 20(a) the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
You're not serious...right? What do you mean $30,000 trigger? It was a typo and was corrected. No buy or sale went through at .50 and your account balance at that moment was completely inaccurate!
The amount of the typo is irrelevant. It was simply a misplaced decimal point.
Huh? My honest reaction to those posts this morning was, "what a bunch of amatures and day dreamers! Surely they've seen a fat fingered typo before!"
some more than others
lol...do you want to be the one to volunteer your worthless shares? No shares are worthless...
Spence, you've mentioned a couple times now about Frank restructuring or re-adjusting the O/S...what are you talking about?
An organization's inventory can appear a mixed blessing, since it counts as an asset on the balance sheet, but it also ties up money that might serve for other purposes and requires additional expense for its protection. Inventory may also cause significant tax expenses, depending on particular countries' laws regarding depreciation of inventory.
Inventory appears as a current asset on an organization's balance sheet because the organization can turn it into cash by selling it. Some organizations hold larger inventories than their operations require in order to inflate their apparent asset value and their perceived profitability.
If this thing makes it to a buck you are all meeting for a drunken rum party on some tropical island, right? If we go sub penny can we all meet one night for a drunken rumble in the parking lot of the local VFW?
Figure skating? ...I know, I know...I couldn't help it
Capt, I realize how much you value my opinion, but don't try going toe to toe with the BadDog when it comes to witty banter. He's got you out-classed by an Idaho mile
And as far as speaking for ALL IHUBER's, I've been an IHUBER longer than you, or at least your current alias, and I don't mind the BadDog hanging around here. I find his questions and viewpoints thought provoking, and the attacks against him almost as humorous as the fact that barely any of his questions get a reasonable answer...hmmm....
For instance, from our beloved Jerseyboy:
Your such a ASS...
lol...That's such a classic! I roll ever time I read it.
Odd thing is that Jersey's post is to a deleted message. Funny how opinions get deleted but Jersey's profane attack stands...Oh that's right, I almost forgot...nevermind.
