Wow, based on the stock price it seems like maybe Barbara frightened the market with her remarks. The collapse did time perfectly with her speaking.
20,000 available $1.13 and no takers? Looks bad.
Don't you think we should withhold calling a few pennies a run? After all before Pascoe gave away the store to Denner, Denner had warrants at $1.73
When Pascoe took over the CEO role the PPS was north of $2.50
Most days, the PPS tanks during the last 3 minutes as well.
Let's say we are on a run should we pass $2.50
Denner is able to get Pascoe to reprice his warrants a will. So it's a no lose situation for him.
As for insulting me to make yourself feel better knock yourself out but anyone following this board knows I've been right on this management team. Sad but true.
I must admit my thought of a buyout at the mid $2s may have been overly optimistic. I should have factored in Pascoe's unending ability to give away shares.
"IF" the Fispemifene results are good I now still doubt the PPS climbs and that will lower any takeout.
I think $2s will never return.
Remember how angry the board used to get at me when I said Vitaros was nothing more than a tiny niche product that would never produce substantial revenue to offset the run rate of cash burn?
Remember how angry the board got when I told everyone Femprox was dead?
Remember how angry the board got when I explained management had screwed up the RayVa test sites and added years delay?
Remember how angry the board got when I told everyone toxic financing was coming?
Yep, I sure missed the mark.
Maybe they sell the company for $1.50 PPS.
How about thoughts on that Aprilov?
Learning to speak Pascoe 101.
Launched in Germany does not = selling in Germany.
Great milestones and achievements = his cash bonus and is completely disconnected to shareholder value.
Goals for 2nd half = mid to late December.
In the quarter = the end of the 3rd month of said quarter.
Pascoe is not hard to decipher with a bit of practice.
Why is it that everytime Pascoe speaks the stock tanks?
You have to hand it to Pascoe. 100% of the time, when he speaks the PPS goes down. Never fails.
Seriously.
Pascoe could spend 20 minutes making fart noises and you would call it positive. Nothing shared of interest. In fact that could best be described as a waste of airfare and hotel costs.
Pascoe getting a getaway on shareholder's dime.
The PPS will now rise.
Where's the fling Pascoe? What were the vote totals on the theft?
Short on time... Alex Denner will have all his shares and warrants in about 48 hours. Expect the stock to gain post vote. My bet is the $1.50 range.
From there I expect the company to be merged or sold in the mid $2s..
Good time to grab a profit.
Looks like it could be a Disaster...
I notice how quiet the board has become as the time for results approach on Fispemifene. Where does the PPS go if Pascoe was wrong on choosing ED?
The 52 week high will soon be falling... Not with new highs, but by aging out.
I sure hope Pascoe is getting a big cash bonus based on hitting corporate objectives. The more money we can get into Pascoe's hands the better right?
Yes I know there is a legitimate argument that can be made that when Pascoe took over the PPS was $2.65, there was no debt, nearly $20 million in cash, less than 37 million shares fully diluted and approved product in Canada and Europe, but look at how he's changed things around.
The guy has had an amazing 30 months. I'd say we can hardly recognize Apricus Biosciences today...
Congrats Pascoe!!!
I think Pascoe could turn APRI into a billion dollar company.
Of course it would have to be a 10 Billion dollar company when he started.
Anyone wonder why Pascoe, management and the Board don't make any open market buys?
The answer to the question why now or March 2nd ahead of the results is obvious to me and falls in line with what I've been telling everyone who will listen.
Apricus is for sale. It has been for a while. Denner is the catalyst or driver with influence around biotech that can facilitate a deal. Pascoe and the board have handed Denner the company in anticipation that he will deliver in getting the company sold.
I still think the price will be mid $2s but it might go slightly higher with really strong results.
This entire deal is loaded with a wink and nod.
I can hear Denner telling Pascoe, I can rescue you from this and help you on to some additional corporate boards and perhaps into a leadership position at another company while making sure you the board and management/employees get a return on the options you have all accumulated over the last 3 years. Here is what I need in order to take the time to facilitate the deal. 31% of the company priced at an average PPS of $1.19. Let's make it happen and I'll get the job done.
Sarissa gets a flip on their investment of more than 100% in a matter of months.
My No vote is in.
Just vote no, and accept that Pascoe is what he is.
Mecosmo, PDbious was here not 3 weeks ago trying to tell me there would be no raise because Vitaros revenue would cover 2016... You need not provide him anything.
I'm telling you they sold. NOt just them... All the Blackrocks and Bank of Mellon too...
Pascoe has sent them all running for the hills.
Them and many others.
The good news is Pascoe no longer has to answer calls from Vanguard Group. Or a bunch of others I'll bet.
Who wants the good news?
A Major RED FLAG?!!!
When shareholders, the owners of the company vote to not re-elect a member of the board, like Mr. Kleathis, and then the management team goes in direct opposition to the expressed vote and rejects the offer of resignation it tells you something... But to then elevate that person to Chairman? Anyone who had a doubt who Pascoe was playing for could have and should have known right then and there.
The management and board of this company are awful and have worked in concert to reward themselves over the shareholders at every turn.
Anyone who thinks the plan is not to sell the company in the near term, my guess in the mid $2s needs to take a long hard look at the volume.
Any other way for Pascoe, the worthless board and Sarissa to dump their shares? NOPE!!!
And it's my opinion based on the fact they did not raise enough money to run a phase 3 they will take the money and run.
I can't wait to see the updated corporate presentation. How many shares fully diluted will it show?
My bet is it won't be updated from 12-31-15. Too embarrassing.
Pascoe and the entire board of directors have destroyed shareholder value in favor of their own pay and options. FACT.
Time after time I tried to tell you the raise was not going to happen as you predicted in the $1.80 range from Alex Denner. I told you he's running a business not a charity. That said I did not expect Pascoe to just throw open the doors and say take anything not nailed down.
Pascoe is only interested in Pascoe.
Carlo, you finally get it. Now tell me the truth, does it make you as angry as it does me to see folks trying to pretend like Femprox is viable because Neil Morton has a blurb on the website saying please call if you are interested?
The speed of Pascoe's destruction of value has been breathtaking.
Jan 7th, 2014.
Shares fully diluted 47 million.
Cash on hand $23 million.
Total debt. ZERO
He had approved product in Europe and Canada and could choose any path he wanted for the company after dispensing of non core business and refocusing the company to Vitaros and Femprox.
Pascoe owns the results... Not that he cares, as long as his salary keeps coming and Denner is happy with his puppet.
DG,
When I proclaim Femprox is dead, I'm speaking as a value driver to APRI stock. I do not expect APRI to free it to the public domain and wash their hands of it. The fact they are willing to sell it is the default position of the last 3 years. They claimed to have had multiple interested parties in the past but U.S. Rights were said to be a stumbling block. Then it was needing to see the outcome with Sprout. Once Sprout succeeded and APRI told the world they were looking for global partnership no longer excluding the U.S.? Crickets. Total silence.
It's plain to see that nobody wants Femprox. And the added problem of its patent experation looms.
It's dead. Is APRI still willing to sell it? Sure. But nobody's buying. If there were any interest for a real money deal you think they would have given Denner millions and millions in warrants at $.88
Dead, as a door nail.
Femprox is DEAD...
And the reason, IMO, is it's NOT a phase 3 ready asset as Pascoe represented. The earlier clinical trial work was conducted in China and is worthless. For a few bucks I can get a study in China that proves M&Ms cure Herpes but that does not make it so.
Dave, it's beyond frustrating and indeed there is no reasonable way to defend the actions of Pascoe and the board. They have 100% acted in direct opposition to the common shareholders. I think this plan has been in place for some time. I don't know what the differences are between a Delaware and Nevada corp are but it feels like they wanted that to further insulate themselves. It's now also 100% clear that shareholders should have been outraged at Kleanthis being allowed to remain connected to this board after being voted out.
The only positive is Sarissa, and Aspire are 100% in and need Fispemifene and for that matter Vitaros and RayVa to succeed, to at least the point where the company will be sold. They can not unload any other way and those goes for Pascoe too.
The PPS will hit the mid $2s, either by partnership or sale.
Pascoe scheduled to speak next Monday? Why no notification via press release?
The 18th Annual BIO CEO & Investor Conference.
February 8-9, 2016
The Waldorf Astoria New York
I am not sure what dollar amount Denner will sell the company, but my hunch is the mid $2s. And im sure it's all Denner's choice.
I just don't think Sarissa will want to wait long after the Fispemifene results. That feels like a peek moment. If they go beyond that they will need to figure out how to finance phase 3 and incur the risks of phase 3 failing. I honestly think they will take their double + and walk.
Ahhh. My apologies. I thought you were speaking of APRI not Sarissa's entire book of holdings. I highly doubt they are trying to play APRI as an offset to all their other losses.
