Hello Jim,
As if you need to hear anything else..LOL
The council members have no clue who S3D is and MD is the front name who was bought out by someone.. big question mark and not local company…..
MDE FB page is old and embarrassing for council members to be looking at…..
Make sure this city schmuck has a PP presentation or at least one printed out for all council members which answers all possible questions as well as maybe even shows a rendering of what this array will look like from a few angles imposed onto google earth
Showcase your other large array projects and ask if possible for you to hold this guys hand on the 20th as he is a doofus trying to talk about something that is greek to him.
Have a great weekend and I know you guys should be very excited this job could actually happen when at first I bet Danny was just throwing mud on the wall and hoping this city committee could seal the deal for the lone ranger bidder which we now know the city does not like at all.
Cheers
Not expecting him to respond but I know he will see this so I feel better having sent it..
Our guy? For all we know each time he turned to look for the answer he was looking at Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck (another committee person)
Exactly my thoughts and I think MD threw some mud on the wall and went thru the motions especially after they saw no other companies hitting this one hard but I really doubt they ever thought this committee was going to be able to pull it off with the city until JN got wind of some investor getting the inside scoop and of course JN was quick to speak to him to find out what exactly he was told. JN and his team are probably very excited they now have the full attention of the council members and great to know what was missing from the lame duck committee presenter so now they can shine and then some on the 20th!!! Just my thoughts after rethinking what just happened yesterday. I can only imagine the jaws hitting the floor when Jim and Danny watched this city goober bring this forward for vote so unprepared for a single question. The 20th will be a different song for sure. Danny or Jim need to give this schmuck a PowerPoint presentation for Gods sake...
I would guess that the presenter today was the chosen head of the committee group who did the RFP's and narrowed it down to MD as they were the only ones to meet qualifications. This guy was obviously shorting the stock!
1 step forward and 2 steps back is getting OLD! Very frustrated today..
I have made many presentations to boards such as this for peanuts compared to the scope of this. I have never seen someone so unprepared to answer questions that should have been expected in the first place. To say this was embarrassing is an understatement. Personally I think this whole job at least for MD is not happening anytime in the near future. Council members will have even more concerns they will toss out at the presenter by the next meeting. Negotiating jobs with privately owned companies is much the better place to be spending time for guys like Danny Mitchell. I hope JN was not counting on this job to make good on his 2015 revenues.
Exactly it does what it wants then makes a chart that some say they predicted that chart..
I expect some of this up trending is due to release of the news Friday about the Fresno job being voted on and officially awarded as well as the expected Q2 final results and the favorable business forecast JN will discuss during the Aug. 6th CC.
Anyone selling shares before the CC is leaving money on the table IMO
Fun to watch the last five minutes of action today
Wow! 4 posts to your name so crawl back to the rock you just came out from under. We are not buying your BS today or any other day
I saw the RELOAD signal!
Here is an interesting look back at things being said just 9 short months ago http://www.nanalyze.com/2014/11/solar3d-just-another-californian-solar-installer/
I actually still believe the cell will come to be and likely just in time as the tax credits to expire. JN is a very smart man and SW along with MD saw something great as well. I am here initially for the CELL and I stay here for it as well.
I agree with you 100% "BUT" I think once we up-listed to the mature markets it was like starting over and paying our dues and taking baby steps to get anywhere with the PPS. It really is a different ball game now and no doubt we shook out some of the OTC longs in the past few months but for those of us with the staying power and belief in JN and his team we should be rewarded handsomely down the road. Baby steps all in the right direction will be the key from here on out. Maybe the better question is where is Changwan and what exactly is he doing??
Long SLTD
The upcoming CC will give us some insight on what we can expect for sure
I would guess a job of that size at this point in the year will likely fall into 2016 revenues?
Yes for some that have not been here very long
Only on the HUB can you get PR's prior to the official release..
Seeing how this did not disappoint the street today and the volume was just ridiculous. The volume impressed me more than the gain did today and JN needs to drop the bomb tomorrow if he is holding any news of substance.
I have been dumbfounded like many others here for the past 90 days and for me it was the low volume and daily decline for no good reason. I just hope today sticks and we keep making small gains through the next 2 weeks. Today was the first real Nasdaq type of trading day based on the volume IMO we have seen since uplisting.
Cheers
You should know buying in on the chase is a bitch! Welcome to the party and you will be fine as long as you are LONG and believe in what this company is all about and the all but guaranteed growth we are going to see over the next 6 months.
What I said on Monday seems to have happened..
"I am expecting some great news within the next 2 weeks to get us back into the 4's just before Q2 is made public.
Long $SLTD"
Q2 revenues will exceed 11 mil which is a 95% increase over Q1. If I read it correctly they also say to expect Q2 to show a net loss of less than $250k which I was not expecting..
We have not won anything yet IMO but our team is playing a great game and the real short term win will be for those who stay long enough to at least reap the rewards of the full year 2015 revenue and earnings report.

Shorts covering or we have had eyes on us just waiting for some revenue confirmation?

On the OTC it is mostly speculative investments driving PPS up IMO and on the Nazdaq we have a lot more potential for the price to move up and stay there after a few net income solid green quarterly earnings reports.

Here is my guess www.menezesbrosinc.com
It's wouldn't instead of would..
Two days of Green in the past 3 days! With any luck we may have a few more days of shorts covering possibly? A news flash of substance in the next few days would be nice as well.
Long SLTD
Carl must have over slept today? I always appreciate his early morning market forecast
HA! Sorry Melanie my bad.
Lol! This whole situation is allowing the cream to rise to the top nicely.
Separating the men from the boys a test of stamina which I believe will still have a happy ending.
A look back just to bring perspective to how much different we are today. Maybe JN will divulge some close numbers for Q2-2015 soon.
Solar3D Reports Record Second Quarter Revenue
Leading solar power company files second quarter 10Q and reports sales for the quarter of $7.5 million
Santa Barbara, CA – July 24, 2014— Solar3D, Inc. (OTC: SLTD), a leading solar power company and the developer of a proprietary high efficiency solar cell, today filed its 10Q for the second quarter of 2014. This is the first time the company has reported full consolidated financial results since its acquisition of SUNworks, a rapidly growing provider of solar systems, based in Roseville, California. The quarterly report contains SUNworks’ second quarter sales of $7.5 million representing an increase of over 600% compared to Q1 2014, resulting in operating profits for the quarter in excess of $762,000.
“We are thrilled with our second quarter results, which have surpassed our initial expectations,” said Jim Nelson, CEO of Solar3D. “SUNworks’ revenue and profit margins are outstanding — with sales for the quarter approaching the sales level of all of 2013, and profit already exceeding the previous year. Our future looks brighter than ever.”
It is a great confirmation...JN did not get hit by a bus on Monday and he is confident that this little solar entity that he got involved in continues to look like it will provide a bright future for early good business models and investors alike.
Solar3D Highlights Recent Study Performed on Accelerating Growth Within Solar Business
SANTA BARBARA, CA—June 23, 2015 – CEO of Solar3D, Inc. (NASDAQ: SLTD), a provider of solar power solutions and the developer of a proprietary high efficiency solar cell, today cited a recent study chronicled in an article by Bloomberg Business that details the six trends currently transforming the electricity markets over the next 25 years.
The study, performed by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) cites the trillions of dollars already invested and provides a forecast for the renewable energy boom for the global power markets through 2040. One key takeaway highlights falling solar prices that could represent the cheapest form of power by 2026. According to BNEF, $3.7 trillion will be spent on solar investments between now and 2040, accounting for more than one third of new power capacity worldwide. The study also presents data that indicates that by 2040, rooftop solar will be cheaper than electricity from the grid in every major economy, due to the result of high electricity prices.
“This study presents extremely compelling data that supports our outlook of the high-growth solar market of which we conduct our primary business efforts,” said Jim Nelson, CEO of Solar3D. “Data such as this provides the market with the insight needed to understand the rapidly growing solar landscape, one that is driven by government spending, economic, and environmental factors. We believe that the Company is well positioned to take advantage of these trends due to our comprehensive offering of solar solutions, and knowledgeable and experienced executive leadership.”
Here is what we are about to battle in Kansas as consumers who are on the grid with Westar Energy.
Westar Energy’s anti-consumer proposal hurts Kansans by increasing electricity rates while denying you options to lower your electricity bills with rooftop solar or energy efficiency solutions. On Westar’s new plan you may not be able to lower your electricity bill even if you reduce your energy consumption by installing energy saving light bulbs, a more efficient refrigerator, or solar panels. In fact, Westar will penalize you with huge monthly fees for generating your own energy on your property. Even if you change absolutely nothing - meaning you do not use more energy or install solar, your monthly electricity bill will still go up on Westar’s new plan because Westar has proposed higher fixed fees.
The Kansas Corporation Commission must protect Kansans ability to exercise choice and control over their electricity bills. Westar’s proposal is an attack on consumers. It is an attempt to eliminate direct competitors to Westar’s monopoly, such as rooftop solar and energy efficiency.
Through its rate proposal, Westar is trying to protect its profits at the expense of its customers while stopping the thousands of jobs that accompany a growing rooftop solar market and a cleaner energy future.
Tell the Kansas Corporation Commission to reject Westar’s anti-solar and anti-energy efficiency rate proposal. By signing this petition, you are speaking out for a better energy future for Kansas.
Another Form 4 likely to show it face soon IMO
Exactly! And this person hates to give up the liquid and his trolling back into the picture is a sure sign that his position is likely going to need to change in the next 10 days. Being short has its disadvantages at times and it seems that time is near.
For all we know these guys filed extensions and need to pay some capital gains taxes. What they are selling is piddly and of no concern.
August 13th can't get here fast enough as this should be the catalyst for steady growth in PPS momentum. Why Aug. 13th? Just because I said so...
Solar3D’s SUNworks Division Continues to Drive Deal-Flow in Agricultural Industry; Secures Contract With Large Rice Drying Company
Company contracted by Northern California rice drying facility to implement solar system intended to realize immediate and long-term cost savings
SANTA BARBARA, CA – (June 18, 2015) - Solar3D, Inc. (NASDAQ:SLTD), a leading provider of solar power solutions and the developer of a proprietary high efficiency solar cell, announced today that it has secured an approximately $1,000,000 contract to design and install a photovoltaic system for a large rice drying facility based in Sutter, California.
Sutter Rice Company, owned and operated by Jack Parnell, is the second rice dryer to retain SUNworks for solar implementation in the past month. The system, a 483 kilowatt (kW) fixed tilt ground mount, will provide the company with the ability to offset a significant amount of the dryers current energy usage. It is estimated that the system will save Sutter Rice approximately $3.5 million in energy costs over a period of 25 years.
“Sutter Rice Company is a prime example of an organization that was drawn to SUNworks because of our expansive referral base and strong reputation within the agricultural industry,” said Abe Emard, CEO of SUNworks. “We had initially made contact with their Company leadership some time ago following a referral, but as they learned more about SUNworks’ commitment to customer service excellence and results, they worked proactively with their CPA to finalize this contract with us.”
“The SUNworks referral network continues to grow as a result of our marketing strategy, as well as the support and results from the teams providing the installation,” said Jim Nelson, CEO of Solar3D. “Much of our success can be attributed to the development of a strong commercial team able to generate leads through organic word-of-mouth referrals within the farming industry as well as other sectors, which has positioned us to continue driving business and ultimately revenue.”
