I believe today's announcement to be the first potential revenue generating event from Senior Scientific. Time will tell how much revenue it can generate. I would expect it to be very slow developing. It does, however, confirm that recently raised funds were spent ( about $2 million )on the equipment to create the in house nano particle factory. The next thing I expect is delivery of the new NanoMRX machine to MDA.
....and he sold rights to one of the patents to BLDP years ago. Maybe the valuable stuff is gone.
When you brought this up a while back I e-mailed Mr. Maslow to find out what he knew about the fuel cell patents. He responded by copying me on an e-mail forwarding my question to Mr. Tsoupanarious and Mr. Grafe asking if anyone knew the status of the old fuel cell patents. That's as far as that went. I'm guessing that, as you can imagine, Mr. Grafe is focused in a different direction (MDA) and Mr. Tsoupanarious is focused on a new metals contract. Neither one can take the time to figure out if there is anything in those patents to capitalize on or they know that there isn't.
Ya, that's going to be my plan.
I want to visit the lab. I have asked on several occasions for a tour but never get a response. I will be in Albuquerque in early June, so maybe then.
I'm just saying SSC's question about the previous 10Q should be addressed. Otherwise, I couldn't agree with you more!
Valid question, SSC. I don't want to put words in BT's mouth but a multiple choice may speed a response. How's this:
A. Yes
B. No
C. There may be fireworks at the next meeting.
D. Why did I start posting on this board?
I, for one, have very much appreciated the links you posted.
Yes but not lately.
Thanx.
Yes. My reference was that message boards can be a measure of sentiment.
Click on his ID and read all his posts.
I tend to believe that management doesn't know, care, or react to message boards. On the other hand investor sentiment is a concern that should interest the company and opinions expressed on message boards are an indication of that sentiment.
Big Theo sits on the board of directors, monitors this board and "is compelled to post only when he sees misinformation."
Sad but true!
SSC, Big Theo says the 2.2m cookie jar raid never happened so what happened to the $$? I believe the stockholders deserve an explanation. Also, if that $$ was expendable, why not a $.00475 dividend? I'm not trying to bolster negative sentiment. Its just that all the official silence causes the mind to equate it to deception and the company should come clean publically both in it's SEC filings and in news to shareholders. After all, we are owners!
Reverse stock splits are a desperation driven process that is never good for the shareholder. Even worse though, would be a large corporation buys the company for 135% of the market price.
Thanks or the heads up. I liked it well enough to place an order!
Thank you so much for participating in today's discussion! My hope is that the questions you answered also answer the questions of some of the other participants on this board.
Quite well but not as well as if my order to sell the Mar 60 naked puts had been filled but I am long the stock and short the Mar 62.5 calls so they balance each other out until expiration at which time either my stock gets called away for a capital gain or I write another set of calls. Either way I keep the option premiums.
Thank you. I realize that revenue from operations has been insufficient to get the company to this point, necessitating the private placements. Is there a plan to ween the company from private placement capital?
Congratulations! Take the rest of the year off with pay.
With all due respect, sir, would you not agree that "revenue in exchange for shares" needs to be replaced by "ongoing revenue from operations"?
That's why it is good to put the technology in the hands of MDA,
a cancer research hospital at a university, who can now relate its scientific value to medical value which can translate to monetary value.
Thanks, Sparrow! Hearing that presentation brings up another potential risk or mountain to climb, so to say. The technology, having been developed by a nuclear physicist is user friendly to
a physicist that thoroughly understands magnetism but may have a long way to becoming user friendly to medical doctors and specialists that may not have the same level of knowledge in physics. Hopefully the work done at MDA will bridge that gap and bring forth the third generation of squid/Amag device that can be used for humans.
Ah yes, Earnings. Well said, Sparrow. This makes the up coming MDA testing important because although the researchers there that have worked at the lab in Albuquerque know the Flynn technology works, their focus will be on how they can use it, when to apply it and which processes it can improve or replace. This then will answer the questions about how it can create revenue and earnings for all involved.
Who can argue?
I changed my mind Jump!
Get away from that that upper story window and try to find a reason to go on living! I don't care who you are, that d_ _ cr_ _
post is petty funny! You probably won't see much for bidding until the new instrument is delivered to MDA on time.
Yes. We would like to see a rising price on 4 million shares a day volume but at this time there is no reason and insufficient catalysts for that. No trades @ .074 is not necessarily bad though. Its at a point where the bidders want it for less, yet the holders are not wanting to part with it until the bid is higher because they see it as more valuable than .074.
Keep in mind that up to this point, MHTX has not intended to market nano mrx machines. It is focused on licensing the technology for an initial fee, an annual renewal fee and royalties. The machine manufacturing and sales and therefore pricing would then become the right and responsibility of the licensee. SSI may or may not retain manufacturing and sales of nano particles. Until the company announces otherwise, this is the business plan.
The important thing is that the medical community is willing to invest substantial capex in new technologies.
I share your concern that competing technology will surpass the Flynn technology before it ever gets used. The MDA people that worked with Dr. Flynn in Albuquerque are excited about it's potential and are eager to begin the process validation in Houston, however. The race is on.
Question: Without reading the article; Is it used for diagnosis or treatment or both such as a replacement for radiation therapy?
No doubt. A second and each additional metals deal will help add to revenues which should help curtail the dilutive method of operation.
Right. Also, until CRS is successfully marketing the new product, MHTX has to start at the beginning with new partnering prospects
rather than being able to point at CRS to show what they were able to do with this technology. This causes the prospect to be very cautious and require extensive testing to convince them that the new metal will work for them. All very time consuming.
CRS only has the rights to nano titanium and iron.
Sure. Lots of ideas but the truth is, Dr. Lowe and Mr. Tsoupanarious are working toward that end.
I' sorry you missed it.
The company's success is dependent on management's transition from "Revenue in exchange for shares" to "On going revenues from operations". In this case "operations" means license agreements and royalties. Though some of this is in place with CRS, there is much more to be done. It doesn't matter how good the technology is. Until the management proves it can make the transition and wean itself from the dilution teat, this penny stock will continue to be a crap shoot.
I'm with you, Rusty. As shareholders we are much like mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed crap. You always seem to have done your homework and you dig much deeper than most of us. It is a shame that we have to scratch and claw for information but behind the scenes, when it appears that nothing is happening, people are working on real progress toward the ultimate goal of converting technology to ongoing revenues. It would be nice to be updated about this progress as it happens. You do your best. Thank you.
I hope $5 million is a drop in Rusty's bucket because then we'll make something too.
