I listened....phone message has substance ....nothing on the merits or reasons....he is definite that trading will resume 4/25 and says the co will come out stronger for the experience....helpful that he didn't whine and say SEC had hurt the Co....tone was measured ....not emotional...I would have liked a little more confidence ....but pretty good overall....
Yah but you also don't want to regret setting a super low sell price only to realize you could have made a lot more.
I know it could go the other way too, but the stock won't go so low. Someone would get insanely rich loading in that area if it went below that range.
The activity here, the way the company is communicating, way too much activity and interest still in phot to deny that it will be back on the upswing.
Link please.
The market and Mj sector of it has really surprised everyone lately.
None of us can gauge the market, but there are things we've been accustomed to watching out for lately that have changed.
It used to be that earnings reports set off massive dips - that wasn't so in the last report.
Can$ was supposed to go to the greys and die a slow death - but that has not been true lately.
The market and its potential to surprise has me wondering. In the face of what seemed to be imminent doom and loss - will we again be massively surprised?
Not saying we will or won't - but we've all been wrong a lot lately...
I respect your opinion, but the same was said about CAN$ and they are far from dead. In fact - they're kicking major butt right now.
Phot's infrastructure has too much to offer. They won't die IMO.
Amazing post valance! Highly appreciated.
Interestingly I was reading into the paintball industry lately to see if there are any pub traded companies to mull about.
In my research I found one company used a patent to secure royalties for any kind of electric paintball gun produced by anyone.
The pushback from the community on this caused the company with said patent to go out of business and use an alternate name on the new company they had to form afterwards.
How does this relate with MARCO AND PHOT?
Well Marco has patent and technology experience, which will help make Growlife more exclusive in the long run. I see him being able to assist in kiosk development and possible patents Growlife could secure to really excel. They just need to be careful not to patent anything that will tick the industry off.
They haven't lost countless amounts of money yet.
In fact I only started investing with 5k.
I've seen levels as high as 70k but was an idiot not to sell there I suppose.
So who is losing money yet? Not even open for trading.
OTC - I would guess that if they didn't know, now they know. I expect them to relay information to shareholders soon as this is not one of those times where 'silence is golden'.
Rather silence is the worth of a dime or two.
It is Growlife's responsibility to communicate with us on the outcome as I do not believe the SEC is 'required' to release findings.
That being said, as each day moves forward - I'm getting a better feeling of confidence about all this.
That also being said. If the company does not communicate in good detail with us, I may sell half on 4/25.
Please provide confirmation of said claim.
Faithfully yours
-Lombardi
Yup and here's what makes a lot of sense to me.
So the share structure is probably the 'scariest' thing about this company.
So I talked to Kurt back and forth about it.
They have to meet certain performance goals to unlock their otherwise restricted shares to sell.
This is all just theory - but consider Rob Hunt being responsible for signing the Kushman nutrient deal. This could have unlocked some of his shares so he could sell and have some profit in addition to being able to pay the tax man on what sounds like will be a hefty tax bill.
These guys could have sold A LOT more, but didn't.
These guys could have gone into hiding and never responded to the halt, but didn't.
Instead, they communicate with the public and release a new website with the faces of all executives for the world to see.
Are we still looking at 'con men' at this point?
However, looks like they may say that with CANN.
And I believe the action of moving CANN from grey to pink is a way of speaking through action - saying the exact same phrase.
This has been my point exactly.
Lots are taking advantage of a panicked public to force the panic further down our throats. They revel in it.
Surely it will be a satisfying day when we regurgitate that fear back into their faces.
The neutral truth is whatever happens, pps will decline in the short term.
Right there with you fisher.
If we don't hear more from management or SEC before re open then I'm inclined to sell at least half.
Not sure what having a calculator has to do with it? Haha.
I would gladly manage one of their stores. I would do this with utmost concern for customer service and teaching customers the rules - beginning with safety.
I reached out to Growlife months ago because I eventually intended to enroll in their GIFT program once I had the appropriate funds to start my own small grow site.
Unfortunately - those funds were also highly dependent on the stock I owned in Growlife as well. The idea was to make enough investing that I could then start myself back in growing and continue to be a loyal customer.
Thanks for your response.
I've been a contributing member of icmag.com for as long as I can remember, well over 10 years.
I've picketed for legalization, I've grown and I've taught others to grow. I've researched, identified my favorite strains for specific applications and worked to become very familiar with all their differences - in addition to the different methods used to grow.
So you can see, I have a deep rooted commitment to this industry no matter what. There will be few winners and I agree - these guys were head and shoulders above the rest IMO.
As for greners - it could use an updated layout, but I'm also very used to navigating the current format.
I believe they have a phototron retrofitted for led lights - which as modern as you can really make it. Led will be expensive across the board until competition and tech improves.
Phototron is more a novelty item, or one for someone just getting started in growing and starting small. In truth, their grow tents are much more effective but more expensive to piece together with everything needed.
Apostle, can we say that yet?
Reason I ask is in my digging I also went to the new Growlife site - all top directors have their names and pictures plastered on that site.
Would they continue to associate themselves if they are guilty? My belief is someone guilty would go into hiding or stop communicating with shareholders. So you think this is all camouflage for deceptive behavior to continue?
Don't get me wrong, if found guilty - I will be one of the first to pick up the torch and lead the charge against these guys for ruining a very wonderful business operation.
What do we really know? That's my concern.
There is hope.
That is all.
Greens, if anyone should be mad - it should be me as a long term holder.
Why am I not and why are you is the question?
When the shock of the 'temporary halt' subsided, I found it necessary to take a step back and resume a neutral standpoint.
That standpoint is until I know what triggered this, how can I be mad? I could buy everyone here a 'jump to conclusions' matt like the one from office space.
I believe the company will communicate with shareholders as to what happened if the SEC does not.
At that point, we can determine if all this ranting and raving about 'scams' holds any value.
If shareholders do not receive communication before the halt is lifted, then the default reaction will again be negative.
Heh, I don't think we know WHO is at fault here yet. I'm sure they're cooperating. These guys wanted to make it big in the emerging cannabis industry, not be shunned forever after they stuck their necks out in public.
Imagine the fall out, just asking who would make themselves so known by personal names if these guys were planning this grand shareholder heist everyone is so giddy over? Yah, these guys really presented themselves with the goal of having to look over their shoulders for the rest of their lives?
How come CANN is up .80 if it went to the grey market to 'die' ?
That explains why you have been so panicky as to reply to even the sarcastic positive posts.
What are you so worried about? You and the other shorts have already confirmed how destined it is to become worthless, right?
There's no chance for it to ever do well again, right?
The fact that CANN is trading positive despite the whole sector being in flames is making some quite worried eh? Place your bets and use a better poker face.
You actually just sound very worried for yourself. More so than I am. What's with that?
So you're admitting that you don't know the outcome and phot is dead, or alive?
Wow if even the permabashers are this optimistic I have to wonder.
Uh oh, a bit of truth from a broker and here comes the invader to suppress it.
Wouldn't want to mess up your .0001 buy order. ;)
So now it doesn't matter what caused the drop, eh?
Some people in the quest to pat themselves on the back, will grasp at any straw available to confirm their beliefs.
Not saying we won't see a price drop, but you're the same guy who said we'd never see .12 - great credibility there.
People are angry, they want to sue, this is america.
Other countries laugh at us with all our suing. Having to lawyer up before you know what to tell him, it's what we'll do when we're mad as all heck!
In this case who do we sue? The company? Or perhaps a single person in the company who is responsible?
For... Not taking our profits in time for something we did not know was coming?
I know this is highly unlikely, but what if we're wrong?
We've seen everyone with information about the greys, but does anyone know whether the SEC always releases their findings before trading resumes?
I can't imagine not knowing the cause of all this by the time trading resumes. What of vape? Are they sticking it out?

Apostle, I'm curious - what has you flipping back and forth about this?
Sterling's great, sterling's bad, the truth will come, etc etc.
Now he's a confirmed dog to be hunted down by bigger dogs?
Yet we've all gone through similar 'bash parties' for Sterling in the past. Time and time again they have come back stronger - but this, this is definitely something that leaves me thinking we're in for it!
SEC symbolically killed the company that began as the originator of the phototron. Regardless of the reason, what a statement they made!
Then again lack of regulation was what nearly destroyed the economy in the first place.
Now we are looking at over-regulation in favor of the grand scheme of the market, but one that is about to suck millions upon millions of dollars out of investors in a single blow.
We don't know the facts at all yet, but it has been fun speculating.
I still believe in the business plan, no matter who turns out to be the guilty party.
For those who have said the pr released was unprofessional - I actually ran it by a lawyer with over 40 years of experience who remarked it was well drafted but had 'lawyer' written all over it.
Bashing the pr because you're upset at the company is one thing, but I for one am happy to see fight instead of flight.
4/20 will be more of a social point than a business point -
however! This is the first April 20th with legal recreational sales in the United States and I would not be surprised at all if the whole sector felt a boost due to news reports marking Colorado seeing the biggest sales day so far.
There will likely be a bit of a media circus ensuing 4/20.
It is indeed strange!
On a different scale and riskier scale you are correct.
Both companies offered different things and by no means would I be stepping over to your board to tell you about it had the roles been reversed.
Is it confirmed we'll be able to trade online via our accounts or will we have to call in to establish our sell orders?
Asking on behalf of those of us using tdameritrade, scottrade, etrade, etc.
Do you know of a better business plan? Besides management and share structure - I believe their infrastructure was ideal.
Wagon, let's say worse case scenario the company is done and their assets have to go.
If a company were to acquire these assets, I will be just as heavily invested in it as I was with Growlife.
The plan and direction were second to none in my book as far as industry growth goes. Establishing in the long term not only supplies, supply contracts, regulatory machines and the eventual goal of distribution of product piggybacking off of the foundation that was supposed to be built - but joining up with other future providers as a goal to expand their income steam.
However, if proven guilty - then all of us here were wrong about management. That said, we were not wrong about the business plan's strength IMO.
I have not found a company with a better business plan yet, but when I do - there will be rigorous questions asked to management and a healthy dose of skepticism involved.
Thanks lucky, despite the outcome I think the significant damage has been dealt.
We had a visit from eagleeye14 aka small cap thinking on SA last night on the boards. He could have been part of the short scheme and one of the entities hounding the SEC.
He came to gloat, what a shame those sort of people aren't under the same scrutiny.
And even sometimes despite many days spent in performing DD to find your winners, your best pick may not always be the best pick.
A shot of reality if anything.
Respectfully wagon, while I will be just fine - please don't come in here to prod people who will actually suffer long term because of this - laughing and talking about suicide is just disrespectful.
Your mention that this was all 'choreographed' ahead of time is an assumption and one I won't debate you on until we both have the facts.
Otherwise, life goes on!
Thanks Renee for confirming what I was thinking and have said.
Once I know the whole story, then I will happily advise.
Hey wagon, I had about 80k shares when the hammer dropped.
I can laugh with you about this because I'm young and will recover fine. Our board jousting was a real treat despite the motives all around.
Yes, whatever happens it is worse than any basher or article could achieve.
My initial investment was a mere 5k and I was lucky to diversify enough before all this that my initial cash will not fade to the twilight zone. I can be confident that I won't walk away with my 45k value when phot was halted.
Whatever happens, it was a true learning experience and a testament to taking profits. Who'd have thought?
But do you know this?
No, you don't. No one can. While I am now a neutral spectator of the situation - I can't say your input is objective.
I strongly encourage neutral and objective minds to share their opinions. Those painting pictures of exuberance or gloom and doom - I would ask you to hold your horses until the public is given the appropriate information.
