My guess is 1 of 3 possibilities. Which one, no idea.
1) Company just selling more shares to pay for the testing, release, etc. 3.4M aint much but it adds up.
2) Someone trying to spook others into selling their shares so they can just pick them right back up knowing the release is weeks away. Sell 3.4M to pick up 10M if someone bites. Happens all the time.
3) Or someone who knows more than any of us and are just trying to get what they can if this happens to go in the chitter.
If I had to wager it'd be #2.
I think it's just a mass blast.
Cause we're special. LOL Just kidding. I'm guessing PTOP gets our email addresses from our investment houses. I got one with TD and one with Schwab. Most likely TD gave this info out as Schwab is pretty tight. And I haven't rcvd anything under my wife's email, which is set up thru a Schwab acct.
Yes. I don't qual for the Acced Inv so can't buy the cheap shares. I replied back with some questions but don't figure to get a reply. .0005 per share? Seriously? Guess it's like what the big players get when buying in early. My concern is they buy up billions of shares, then RS wiping us all out. What's max shares authorized for this distribution?
Agree on financials but im thinking those dont really matter too much at this point. Get monies flowing then do financials and up-listing. Would have been nice to get update on OS count but quite sure thats gonna continue to change as well.
Listen to the interview too. Its very good. Mentions financials, but isnt their main focus right now which is fine.
Need monies from prod release. But rest is very informative.
I saw it on ya hoo
News out!!! And its pretty darn good!!! Finally something of substance!!! Audio version is even better with Josh’s interview. Big excitement.
Halted? What's up with no trading?
Eric over on ya hoooo said there is some big mudslinging going on with regards to Esposito, and Esp selling a ton of shares. Hasn't provided any more info though.
Anyone here caught wind of anything?
Was replying to post 28032. A tweet bige777 posted.
Interesting tweet. Any follow up tweets on this subject? Im not on twitter.
Thats called a kardashian.
Wonder when the beta testing actually started. This is important step. Hopefully its been going on at least a couple weeks. Maybe thats what Josh is waiting for, some tpye of feedback to share with next PR.
LOW FLOAT? Way to keep a sense of humor.
Agree. Everything TL has done has been ahead of schedule. Now if only Josh and his friend(new cfo) can get the backend and financials in order finally, we hopefully will be on our way.
Yes, release news today. Then let everyone spread the news over the long weekend building huge momentum for Tuesday’s opening.
Spot on Noping. All Cody does is bash others for trading this stock and making money. Isn't this why we're all here? To make money. Long, short, who cares as long as we make money. Shorts are good for the stock market too. He speaks as he's the number one shareholder and most knowledgeable.
I truly believe he is about 14-15 years old, based on his grammar, his run-on and on and on sentences. Repeating the same thought 4-5x's in each paragraph.
And his questions on stock trading terms and strategies, proves he should definitely not be trading in penny stock land. Very immature.
I'm very long this stock as well, with many more shares than he states he has. I'm holding, but will sell some when it hits my points. Keep some in case of massive run. Or lose it all if it ends up like most stocks in penny land. But it could be a very fun ride.
He just needs to lay off others for their strategy, there's a lot of very, very smart traders out their. Wish I was smart enough or gutsy enough to do what some of these players do.
Thanks for what info you provide that isn't common to the rest of us.
New website is up. Looks great. Its starting.
Hey Disco,
Just my take, but there's $45M from the sale of China. There were extra monies after the final sale of hogs on the US side that were put into the kitty. No idea as to how much but lets say $2M. So we have $47M
I don't believe they would have put that $2M into the acct unless all valid claims against the US side had been paid. I'm very confident all of the big one's have already been paid off.
I'm guessing apprx $30M left after paying rest of claims, attorneys, etc. Divided by 64M shares gives apprx .47 a share.
Now you throw in what is received thru insurance claims and any other suits, hopefully getting monies back from the criminals. At only $5M that would be another .07-.10 cents per share. Maybe it's $10M, 15M, $20M. Just don't know cause no idea as to how much their policies were.
But these are just my guesses, may be high, may be low. I'm hoping the latter of course.
Slam away WS.
Anyways, that's how I'm getting the .50-.60. It's a freaken long way from the $3-$4 that this company was really worth. What a shame.
Great day to all.
Pray,
I was always hoping this would be the case as well, but it is not going to happen. We as shareholders owned the "stock" which was the ownership in the company. This "stock" was sold, so we no longer own anything relating to the company. All we have is the money that was put into an acct from the sale of the stock. That is all that is left. Plus whatever extra they received from the US sale. Now they are working on clearing the good claims from the bad, dealing with and coming to an amicable agreement with the class action, and then the dividing up of whats left over. And of course anything that is gained from Insurance & suits against mgt and bod.
If somewhere down the line, you seed FEED come back as a company, we will have no ownership at all in it. Maybe the new owner might try to relist it as a new company but that would be it.
Sorry, but it is what it is. I 100% wish it wasn't so. But this is a dead company now. All that's left is clearing up the details and distribution of monies. Again, not including future suits against Insurance and Mgt & BOD.
Disco & Pray,
This is one time I agree with Wall Street.
This is all said and done. There will be no relisting, and there is no additional income coming in. The US sale of all the US assets was completed in Sept, and the China sale which included all of the China assets finished up on Dec 6th.
Basically now all that's left is for the monies to be collected from the sales. There was actually extra on the US side for some extra lil hogs they had, no idea as to how much. They have been and will continue to figure out which of the claims are valid and which are not. Pay the good one's, pay the attorneys, give the class action a "small" negotiated handout, and then the rest will be divided amongst the shareholders.
Once this has all been completed, then if it is decided, they will then go after the insurance and BOD and past mgt, or anyone that could possibly bring monies back in. Which would then be split amongst the shareholders and probably class action group as well.
It's a simple assessment, but overall pretty accurate.
I'm sure someone hint hint will come on and bash the above, but I could care less. As someone else stated, he is just trying to scare you out of your shares. And it seems to be working since shares are trading. I have no idea as to why anyone would sell now. Were a month or two from collecting most likely at least a 100% move from here, why not wait?
Anyone really think small investors are picking up this 350,000 share count today. Nope, it's the bigger boys. And why are they doing it, cause they are smarter than us. At least smarter than those who are selling.
Hold tight, don't give in to their tactics.
Holty, you may want to do a bit more research than listening to that person. He has been proven wrong so many times.
Anyways, I have done a bit more research myself. And what you all are not getting is that there will be "NO" repatriation of the funds necessary at all. The company was not bought by the Chinese or anyone else. Only the stock in BVI, which when sold will not have to be repatriated back in. No moneys paid for taxes, will eliminate most likely months of time and money too.
If the company and assets were being sold, then yes, much of what you or some of you are saying would be true. But in this case, nope. It's a "stock" sale and it's as simple as that.
That is why this will go much faster than some here are saying. And I think they know why they are saying it, to scare some out of their shares.
Bottom line, the "stock" sale will take place, the funds will go into an acct, the leftover creditors if any will get paid, most likely the class action will go away or be negotiated away no where near what some are wanting, and then the rest will go directly to the shareholders of the "stock" that was sold. Again, no taxes, no long timelines saving a ton of money in fees, no payments to the China government or paying people off.
I think I will be much closer to the truth than others posting here. Ignore one in particular, he's a master at legal bluff.
It was moved to next week.
Yes, 3 Major happenings over the next couple months. All three are pretty much a certain, too.
1) Thanksgiving will be on Nov 28th, and I will stuff myself more than the hogs this company feeds.
2) Christmas will be on Dec 25th, and again, I will stuff myself more than the hogs this company feeds.
3) And finally, sometime in Nov the US sale should be complete and we should have the final numbers as to what is left from those assets for the shareholders. Also in Nov the auction will take place for China so we should know the final price there too, and then probably sometime in Dec we should know the complete numbers after all is said and done as to what we shareholders will be receiving. Not much debt on the China assets so I'm really looking and hoping for a very nice Christmas present.
Ignore the naysayers who keep bringing up the class action suit. It most likely won't go anywhere. They're just scaring up shares.
Even it did, I've got a ton of shares during that period anyways so I ain't to worried about it.
So in my overall calculations, I thinking that by end of year this should be pretty much wound down. It might trickle into '14 too, never know. And that actually wouldn't be to bad either since I could then play with my money another year after the sale before I have to pay any taxes on the gains.
Disco,
Originally they were excluded, but in the end I believe they were.
I believe the OK asset was sold in that piece of pie also.
Where I think the calcs will be wrong are in what the China assets end up selling for. I know you're using the current bid, but I'm confident more bids will come in over that amount. But using what we have on the table I understand.
Also, what people aren't counting into the equation is the possibility and probability of going after D & O Insurance to collect for the fraudulent dealings. Maybe we can collect a few more mill for the pool there too.
Completely correct Disco on the use of the specialized lawyers. Am I still skeptical of lawyers? You bet your blank. But I understand the reason for the additional.
Hello Alex,
Good question and one I've been asking myself. The past two days I was going to direct this question on the "inquiry" link on the EC website.
It certainly sounds like the US Trustee is on our side so I don't think much shenanigans will be taking place. Other than one's that are out of all our control. At least I hope so.
If at some time, the stock does halt once the two sales are both final, secured and unsecured creditors are paid and done with, how do they get in touch with us regarding payout? I'm guessing same way they know who has shares when dividends are paid from companies. Has to be a vehicle thru our brokerages.
And my take on things is just that, my take. I may end up being wrong, but I think I'm a little closer to reality than some others here posting doom & gloom, and that we'll never get a dime.
Great day to all.
Couldn't have said it better myself, Grill.
In regards to the company, Rafael also said they have been petitioning the judge aggressively to allow them to post the information regarding the sale of the US assets.
That much of what they have to petition for is what will clear things up quite a bit for us. They feel confident the judge will say yes soon.
Great day to all.
I spoke with Rafael at the Law Firm handling the EC last night. Very good conversation. He was able to take the time and answer many of my concerns and clear up the picture a little. Nothing non-public disclosure wise that would get him in trouble, but just the over-all state of affairs of what's taking place. He said the F&Q site would start to answer questions very soon. Apologized this wasn't up and running fully yet.
It does appear that everyone on board with the EC is "definitely" working for the benefit of the shareholders. Yes they are making their money in doing so, but I don't begrudge anyone making their money as long as they are actually doing their job. Unlike the bogus Attorneys/CPA's/Auditors etc of the past few years.
Overall, my take was very positive. Sounds like they have a good team in place going after the right people, trying to save as much equity, and getting the most value in any sales that may/may not take place. Just my take. What else do we have to hang our hats on, right?
He did laugh a little though, at all the speculation talks we have hear on the MB's. Mostly in regards to the value of the assets. No one has a clue as to the current value, because none of the information from the past can be trusted. The true value is and will be what someone is willing to pay once bids start to come in, if that is the direction the company goes. Don't think anyone can argue with that. Even myself, and everyone knows how much I like to argue. ha
Anyways, just wanted to let those interested of the conversation. He said anyone having questions to feel free to contact him also. He will answer what he can, but is limited because of the non-public information disclosure laws. But many of the questions most have will be answered in the F&Q which should be up and running very soon.
A great day to all.
I tried posting your link 3'x myself and it wouldn't take.
Yes, just did. I still don't see where $35M is the value that we'll get for all the China assets.
And these are what the Company listed them at, most likely to cover their backsides thru the BK. As Vinny even stated, all the numbers that any of us have to work with are "sketchy". Never a truer statement made on this company.
I'm sure we'll all be seeing the real numbers soon enough. At least those that matter. And I just personally see things a little brighter than others. Don't lay a wager either way on what I say.
It's just one man's opinion.
Thanks for the clarification Vinny.
Sketchy numbers is all any of us have to work with.
It looks like you're using '11 valuations? We didn't have the 2 WSF's in '11. So you have to account for those farms. Also the hog market is much more in our favor these days.
Your guess is as good as mine. Not saying you're wrong, I just see things having a lot more value, and that the final sales price won't be a normal "liquidation" value.
I don't think the bids that came in on the US assets and the final agreed to price was "liquidation" value. I know there are a few here who have direct knowledge of the US hog farm values. Maybe they can share what they thought the true market value of the farms were in comparison to what we ended up getting for them.
I'd actually like to know the difference.
Great day to all.
Vinny,
Where are you getting the $35M liq value for China? No one's forcing them to sell the China assets yet. It's most likely the plan but it is not forced. So they don't really have to take a liq offer.
And in this aggressive hog market, these assets are most likely worth much more than that. Not saying they wouldn't get some kind of "discounted" bids, but liquidation, no.
They paid over $30M just to get one of the WSF up and running. They now have the two in full production with hog prices going up real nice. The 4 feed mills which were valued at $80M even in the tough times. Plus the 20 legacy farms which again in tough times were valued at about $1.5-$2M each.
You may be right, I may be wrong. But I'd lean to a much higher sales price than $35M.
Great day to all.
Heading to it now. Fantastic. Thanks Bassman.
Any accountants out there that can interpret docket number 266?
Might be wrong, but it kind of looks like there might actually be quite a bit of cash value left over from the US assets. Boy would that be a welcome site.
Other thing it kind of shows is how profitable the Hormel contract really was. Let us count the ways that Van blanked it all up.
Hey Run-along,
I see your handler just gave you something new to posts. Make sure to not get to upset with me, that you forget to punch the time clock when you leave work today. Oh, and also don't forget your superhero lunchbox, your mom will be real upset too.
Now run-along.
Slap,
Yeah, I'm a little riled up this week already. :) I just have never gotten those that come on MB's trying to "save" us all from our stupidity and trading ignorance. Just because they are such caring human beings. NOT. Every board has them, and they are just as annoying on each board. They have an agenda, and it ain't because they are trying to help us, it's because they are trying to get something for themselves. It's as simple as that.
Will follow up on ALSK. I did some initial and have been busy. Thanks for the reminder.
I just picked up some NDLS last week. A bit pricey for my usual tastes, but it'll be a long term hold for me. I may even look into their franchise set up.
Enjoy your day.
Ouch. Did I touch a nerve wall street? Guess you've heard it all your life that you're arrogant and a wannabe know-it-all.
I think Barnam & Bailey are searching for a new clown.
Funny how nothing, or should I shout like you NOTHING you have said has turned out so far like you have said it would.
Why would anyone take investing advice from someone on a MB. I didn't buy because of anyone on any MB and I won't sell because of anyone on a MB. Do you feel you have that much control? What a GOD complex you have, you may want to dial it back to maybe just a Saint complex. Maybe that's why you get so upset when people (most) don't give you the time of day. Seriously, it's got to be hell being you.
And again, someone who spends 3 years "researching" a stock, and for the last couple years a "penny" stock for that matter, searching for a trading opportunity to make a dime is kind of disturbing. Along with all that time spent, you also spend time on the MB preaching how smart you are and that you are our savior, our hero. Yet through all this you don't own 1 single share.
You have ZERO cred dude. Maybe if you put a little skin in someone might take you seriously, but from where I sit, someone in the background is just giving you this info to post on these boards to try and control the few who would listen to it.
Most of here are just here for the conversation because we do "own" shares in the company and like to chat. Good and bad.
You sir are a troll.
From now on I'll refer to you as "run-along". Hopeing someday you will.
Great day to all others.
