Shore, did you guys "hunker down" this past week when all the tornadoes headed your direction? We're so use to tornadoes in the South that we play golf up until the emergency sirens go off.
Thanks Info for all the clarifications; you're one smart man!
Welcome Putt & KarenS, from cat the late night poster. Please speak up and give us your insight and opinions, pro or con.
HSmith, you stated: "these DROP's in their current form are nothing revolutionary at all". Got to disagree with your assessment of the new products. If a few CONCENTRATED drops of PowerFuse or ElectroFuse, whether absorbed sublingual or via the stomach, pack the punch of say a WHOLE energy drink then how can you honestly say that they are not revolutionary?? Gotta drink a full bottle of 5 hr Energy to get the most kick so it can't be used as an example to compare against the aforementioned drops. There are most likely some competing products out there right now but offhand I can't think of any; maybe you can? IMO, the big money is still around but just not being put to use presently...this doesn't mean that big money insiders knew that PowerFuse & ElectroFuse were not going to be sublingual as some posters have inferred...and it certainly doesn't automatically put these products in the "flop" category. I think both products are going to be very successful as will Fuse the company. And, no, I'm not being paid by Fuse to offer up this recommendation.
Right on Infoseeker, 5 hr Energy is selling at a rate of 9 MM bottles per week! I'll take that 1 billion in sells too!
Bgrass1, you stated: "Remember more than a third of generals graduated in the bottom third of their class at the academy!!!!" If you don't mind, will you share where you got that stat? You realize that means that every 2 out of 3 generals graduated in the mid to upper 1/3 of their class, right? General Dickerson is a good addition to the Fuse staff.
Stoney1424, I can only speculate at this point is time but I sure hope PowerFuse and ElectroFuse are NOTHING like 5 hr. Energy!! That product would put my heart into a permanent orbit around my body What I do know is that most companies will usually disclose the main components of a product while others often leave some out claiming them to be "proprietary".
Bgrass, would you call ANY General "unimportant"?? It takes only a little insight to see why Fuse took him on board.
Right, Jelly, I can see that about the wording. Wonder why there was no mention of "sample drops" coming out Sept. 15th? Didn't they state that earlier in a PR??
Shore18, we all have a pretty good idea why Fuse took Gen. Dickerson aboard. Think about it. ElectroFuse/military, military/ElectroFuse. Easy to carry, administer, and works quickly. Of course we have one poster who will say that Gen. Dickerson was paid to come aboard as part of the "smoke screen" effect. Something tells me, just gut instinct, that the above two products are going to be HUGE successes.
Well, bgrass, I actually care little about the packaging. It's not the packaging that sells the product, it's the product. A bright, flashy package might lure a buyer in one time but they won't be a repeat customer. For Fuse to survive, it needs repeat sales. And EnerJel is meeting that requirement from all indications. Hey, your 0.79 stock may turn out to be a bargain!!
Makethemoney, IMHO, everyone is making a big issue over wording which is causing panic confusion. Near the top of this board under "About Fuse Science" is the following:
Fuse Science has a more effective electrolyte and energy delivery system for consumers ranging from the serious athletes to working mothers. The consumer simply places a few drops in the mouth or under the tongue, absorbing the superior formulations sublingually, or through their buccal mucosa, essentially bypassing their gastrointestinal (GI) system and enjoying almost immediate effects.
Obvious to me is that this speaks to PowerFuse and ElectroFuse. If you put either one of these products into the mouth, hence a consumable, they are absorbed via the stomach (if swallowed, and some will be swallowed), buccal mucosa, or sublingually. Pretty clear to me. If, and I use "if" cautiously, PowerFuse and ElectroFuse are NOT actually drops to be put in the mouth or under the tongue, then we may see DROP at 0.05 or below because this goes against everything Fuse has touted up to this point. We'll see soon enough.
Bgrass1, got just one question for ya. Provide one example, just one, where Fuse stated that they were going to do something and didn't follow through. We're patiently waiting for your extensive list.
Just thinking out loud here. Would I pay $2.99 for 1 dose of PowerFuse vs 1 bottle of 5 hr. Energy? Well, possibly, if it gave as much or more "kick in the butt" and did it faster/longer. Perhaps the situation would dictate when and where to use the PowerFuse. Hmmmm.....Hard to picture PowerFuse in a single dose tube as it appears with MRay's pic's. Hmmmm....Gotta believe it will come in a multiple dose tube or dispenser and will be competitively priced with what's already on the market. We'll have the answer soon so why speculate. Everyone have a great week investing in DROP. Goodnight!
Takechance2012, 5 hr Energy at my local Wal-Mart is $2.68. And, according to ads 9 MM bottles are sold per week. That equates to $1,254 MM in sales per year. The drops are going up against some tough competition as we've discussed before. Next to the 5 hr Energy display was a cooler full of "Red Bull" and several other energy drinks.
Bay, that could be just fake packaging you know. Used to get everyone all excited. Just kidding. That's probably the real deal. I have high hopes on the PowerFuse drops...they might help this ole man's body feel like 29 again..ok, well 40 then.
Thanx Jelly for the Michelle pic's. Boy I like that black tank top! Looks better on her than it would on me. The Fuse shirts do look pretty good also; would like to have a couple to sport around in. I vote to replace TW with Michelle as the poster person. She's very easy on the eyes....
Sort of odd that a little known (not a household name) fitness athlete would EXPOSE the drop packaging while the poster boy Woods is dead silent on the subject. What are we paying him for; to just walk around the courses with his Fuse bag in tow?? He's got a lot to do to ever get my vote of confidence.
Hey Shore, isn't there a college baseball team from the New England area (I thought Jersey, could be Maine) called the black bears? They come to Florida early in the spring to practice because of the weather.
Shore for group representative?? "Say is ain't so Joe, say it ain't so"!! Just kidding. Shore would be a good rep. even if he is from Jersey.
Boy, Alabama looked like they're prepared to "run the table" again. That doesn't bode well for my alma-mater, MSU, or the rest of the SEC.
Panther9191, I believe it was Sept. 15th for the free drop samples to go out. You may want to research that however.
Shore18, not to discount what HS has posted but, keep in mind that Fuse has developed a unique technology which allows sublingual compounds to be absorbed faster and at higher concentrations than established methods . They've used caffeine as the base chemical to model their technology's enhanced properties. As just a thought, water is called the universal polar solvent. But, there's other polar solvents which mimic water that could be used as a "carrier" for the electrolyte molecules. These hydrophobic type molecules might possibly be smaller in size and pass more easily across the dermal membrane which could account for the increased speed of adsorption and higher concentration. Hey, this is all speculation on my part so don't take it for the gospel. What ever Fuse is doing must be somewhat radically different or others would (or could) have perfected the technology a long time ago. Most of us will never know how the process works; it just works!
No rookie48, I don't live in Charlotte but go there a LOT since my daughter and grandchildren are there. Charlotte is a pretty city.
We're getting closer to Sept. 15th by the minute. Isn't that a significant date for Fuse?? Can you say "drops"?
Rookie48, sorry to jump into your conversation but curious if you moved near Charlotte?
Good one Shore. I tell my wife that all the time, don't you?
Swankp, you're being too modest. They could use your help!!
Good info.! Yes, fixin to git some more.
Shore, did you say "unched"? LOL. Never heard the term in my life! While we're at it, do you guys in Jersey say "hunker down"? LOL
Bgrass, did you know that your "no name" hockey team (Panthers) was the Southeastern NHL champion??
Isn't 13.5 much better than 9.9?? Geez, give Fuse (& us) a break. If you were to put the same energy into factual optimism, it might help DROP get back to the 70's and 80's where you want it, right?
Swankp, you need to send your resume to Fuse. You're the man! You know your stuff!!
Malek, trust me, EnerJel works as good or better than advertised. Like most products, not everyone has the same response (physical affects). If you have some spare time (who does, right?) you might scroll back to some earlier posts on this board which have multiple people giving their $0.02 about EnerJel. 99% are very positive.
Shore, sure hope you're right and I believe you are. Several people I know sold DROP in the 30-50 range and made some decent money. But I've hung in there with it even though they've insisted that I sell. "Cut your loses and get out" was the common theme. Big and better days are ahead for DROP, IMO. Don't be surprised when you see $1.25 again, but this time as the "bottom". We will be in limbo as when to sell...:)
Excellent point of view jt6455. And welcome to the Fuse board. Lots of good info. exchanged here. Keep an eye out for the naysayers though because they will sneak up on ya. :)
Excellent post Swankp! Sounds like you've "been there, done that" or else you do a tremendous amount of reading.. Just kidding.
Shore, you asked Jelly this question but, if it's ok, I'd like to jump in. We may never know all the details about the Panther/Fuse deal. Some they may disclose but others could be bound by "laws". It struck me that perhaps the entire Panther's organization may get a super discount on all Fuse products, as just a starter (or carrot). Or maybe the actual players & coaches could get any or all Fuse products free up to a certain $ value per year (or something like that). One fact I'm sure about, something in the package deal was too good to pass up so the Panther's owner jumped on it. Hey, don't tell me that Fuse management doesn't know what they're doing!! Think about it, they've gone after a number of BIG name athletes and SIGNED UP every one!! How about the continuous stream of licensing partnerships and product distribution contracts. Fuse is looking for bigger fish, if you will, and I have confidence that they'll hook one or more soon. Shore, all of us have discussed many times our desire for Fuse to partner with a big pharma or something, and that might happen, but still, in my minute mind, I think they're (e.g. management) setting the company up as a PRIME buy out target. Sure would be good for us if it goes either way.
Ok, I just missed that fact. Darn it, wish they would (or could) reveal something about that tomorrow. We need some concrete news badly. Or should I have said DROP needs it badly....
Playing with some math here in order to make some kind of comparison. Not sure that the answer actually means much. An advertisement a week or so ago, stated that 5 Hr.Energy is selling at the rate of 5MM bottles/week. Not sure what 5 Hr. sells for so let's use $1.50:
5MM units x 52 weeks x $1.50= $390MM per year
Fuse is shooting for $200MM per year from EnerJel within the next 5 years, which most likely is on the conservative side. Well, that's not too shabby for product #1. If EnerJel sells that well, then proceeds from the "drops" will be just gravy. Maybe Fuse is reluctant to toot their own horn this early in the game but most, IMO, believe the "drops" are going to be the real game changers, not EnerJel. The applications for the drop technology is broad and growing. Their launch in the 4th quarter of this year should move the pps upward, hopefully.
