There was also a 4,500 share trade at .88 after the close.
B,
I think Percy is old enough to answer for himself, as he did. His negativism has me skeptical about his retaining 1/2 his position.
Percy,
Do let us know when you are back in CYGX.
For those of you on the sidelines, better get between the stripes.
Here we go, so it appears...Schwab gone.
Schwab continues to lean on offered side. Also on the bid. Throwing blocks back and forth, so it appears. IMHO, they must be short, bigtime. Once they are out of the way, look out.
.84-.85
Strengthening...
I believe the stock wants to go higher here.
Wish I knew too. Should be investigated. Collusion?
Schwab is leaning on it, offering it at .03 less than next offer. He is most likely short.
As I noted in an earlier post. MM's spread it when they do not want to lose stock. A game.
Holy,
It is meaningless. A temporary spot in time.
Holycow,
Remember, the stock was pretty quiet the day of the DNA announcement. It was the day after, when the news was interpreted and digested, that the rocket left the launch pad.
The most compelling aspect of this investment at this juncture is a likely scenario of continuing announcements. CYGX is rearing it's head in the marketplace, after years of obscurity. The timing is perfect for a company like this, in light of the problems being experienced by the big-Pharmas.
The DNA announcement was very significant, and should not be downplayed. What it has done is take the pressure off waiting for successful trial milestones, as a revenue stream will be in place during this period. Very unique for a small, or even large, company.
The main reason we are drifting lower here is the market is getting crushed. Dow and Nasdq down big. Sit tight.
I can't believe that I am forced to respond to your idiocy. First, it is the income statement that shows profit and loss...Not the balance sheet. Second, if there was debt, as you say, it would appear on the balance sheet. Do you see any?
The company has a very low burn rate, and has sustained itself to this point without debt, and with manageable losses, offset by stock issuances when needed. The company is now at the point of meaningful successes.
Why do you think credentialed scientists have recently joined the team? Don't you think they did their own due-diligence before joining? Why would an accomplished guy like Ocampo, an original founder of Oracle, risk his reputation on this? Do you think you know more than these professionals?
Biotechs take a long time to get to this level. Your insidious bashing is hoping to get the stock down so you can get back in. This board does not impact, in any meaningful way, what this stock does. If you think so, your dillusional. Why don't you go away and play in a different sandbox?
Very healthy back-and-fill here. I'd be very pleased if the PPS holds in the mid-.80's.
MM's trying to hold it down. Spreading the bid and asked to discourage buying. Looks strong here.
I want to hear from people who state facts (CYGX has no debt), and do not bring up old news as part of a bashing campaign.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ......
Thanks.
Percy, Give it up while you can. Your naiveti is amazing. DEBT and LOSSES are NOT the same. Debt must be rerpaid at some point. Have you read Finance 101? Your bringing up the shares sold at a discount is old news. Companies sell stock at a discount to current market price because it is restricted for at least one year.
Please, enjoy your Genta investment and please let's not bring it up again. And please refrain from your insidious CYGX bashing.
Captain,
Please accept my apology. The bet was with Woody. You and I were on the same page. Very eary in the AM here.
Woody, the bet is redirected to you, if you are so inclined.
Captain,
The bet we had is the kind you do not mind losing. How about double or nothing? I bet $1.25 by Valentines Day. Let me know.
Zap,
Appreciate your input..Where do you see the PPS of CYGX in 3 months, six months and one year?
Thanks
Percy,
Thanks for the insult to all on this board, below! Did any of those big boys tell you it may be the last chance to buy CYGX in the .20's? The big boys lost a bundle betting on Genta. Probably still in it because they couldn't unwind their large positions in time. Now crossing their fingers. Good luck!
"Maybe I should trust the big boys a little instead of penny stock investors."
Either a mistake, or some poor sole put a market order to sell in, and got skinned alive by a MM.
Let's keep to the subject at hand - CYGX, and not get distracted by other folks investment decisions.
Percy,
Only facts please. CYGX has somewhere between 100 million and 130 million shares outstanding, not 250 million.
Would have bet on ISIS over Genta.
Good trade, but stocks like CYGX are what legends are made of.
Looks like the lava dome is forming. Eruption could follow.
Have you figured out what the DNA synthesis will mean to the company? Should be significant. What do you think going into two trials to combat two billion dollar problems will mean for this stock?
Chunky...Chunk, Chunk, Chunk, Chunk, Chunky. "What a chunk a chocolate." Quote Arnold Stang from the Chunky commercials of the '50's and '60's.
Almost 1/2 million shares in the first hour. Is there anyone here who doubts we are starting to get the respect management and the company deserves?
MM's may try to take us down during next lull, maybe over lunch period. Hold onto your coconuts when they shake the palms.
POWERFULL
IMHO,
The MM's may be short and know that breaking the .86 resistance level will, from a technical standpoint, cause substantial buying, putting their short positions further in a hole. Also, many market timers sell at the resistance levels.
MM's will try to hold it here.
