GRPR Management are savvy guys with over 25 years in the oil industry. GRPR are still here and negotiating leases. They have had a market cap of $130M in the past when pps was $2. Here they had a market cap of $78M in April 2010 when share price was $1.20:

With the right news and developments that pps is possible with time. I've seen trips go to multiple pennies very fast. A few go from pennies to dollars! The oil sector can be explosive for start ups that succeed!

You have to admit it was a ridiculous presumption that those kind or estimated values ($1+) might still be valid.
No i don't have to admit that. When PPS was 0.85 the O/S was 64M..on that basis and bearing in mind GRPR have 2 more leases with huge potential reserves one could estimate the PPS could be calculated as follows: increase in O/S to 800M = 12.5 times the O/S since the 0.85 valuation..0.85 divided by 12.5 = 0.068 PPS. From current .0004 that is a massive 170 times current PPS! Add drilling and revs news and this 0.068 pps could easily reach dollar land with time! smile

GRPR .014 this oil stock still trading strong and bringing us quality profits opportunity to add as low as .011 and the stock saw intraday high of .015 we still feel that this will do well as last news said drilling begins Oct and we know that Grid Petroleum owns 41 million barells of oil Basin acquisition , we could see a solid uptrend moving forward another commodity stock that with need for domestic Oil and gas could be a hedge during inflation sept 2011

The Temblor Formation Feb 9, 2014
When Frank M. Anderson first came up with the name Temblor Formation in the early 1900s, he used it designate the sandy interval that was beneath the Monterey Formation, which in outcrop is dominantly shale. Today the Temblor generally refers an interval of Lower Miocene to Oligocene (Saucesian to Refugian stages) shale that contains several sand bodies, which from bottom to top are named the Wygal, Phacoides, Agua, Carneros and Buttonbed. Because the Buttonbed in many places has a pretty significant unconformity at the base of it, there is a bit of a dispute as to whether the Buttonbed is the uppermost sand of the Temblor or the lowermost sand of the Monterey.
The Temblor has acquired a bit of notoreity in the oil patch in recent years due to two significant events. The first is the blowout in 1998 of the Bellevue No. 1 well up at Lost Hills from sandstones at a depth of 17,657 ft feet that are believed to be in the Temblor Formation. The second is the 2009 discovery of a significant amount of oil and gas in Temblor Formation Sandstones, specifically the Carneros sandstone, at the so-called "Gunslinger Pool" just on the northwest edge of the giant Elk Hills oil field. Gunslinger is said to be the largest oil field discovered in California in the last forty years http://www.sjvgeology.org/geology/formations/temblor.html
The company plans to begin the mapping planning and drill site selection process for the development of these ten wells.
Upon completion of the planning process the company will then be making Drilling Permit applications for its first development well.
The company will be the Operator of these lease holdings
