What is confusing about it? Most were lies intended to deceive shareholders.
Or, a third option which was presented yesterday is a fresh start with shareholders steering the reconstitution of the board...
Nice :)
Maybe we are misunderstanding each other. What do you mean by "public"? There have been multiple documented public announcements by the company which we now know are false. The funding, the audit, the video shot in another facility... Take your pick.
I wouldn't take another press release, or a rebuttal by Mr. Saleem at face value. I would trust an independent auditor, or government agency, but not the officers of this company.
I trust Kakani, but I'd still want a way to verify anything he may say.
"Trust and verify." --- Ronald Reagan.
I think there is a difference between negativity and uncovering the truth, agreed?
The number of entities and individuals who would have to be lying in order for Saleem to be telling the truth is staggering... I don't believe there is an anti-Saleem conspiracy out there. I believe he's perpetrated fraud and now he's caught in his lies.
The beautiful thing is this... Once the SEC gets ahold of these guys with subpoena power, the tree will get a really good shaking. I'm guessing we're just scratching the surface of how convoluted and deceitful this little shell game really is.
Absolutely they have!! Unfortunate for us, but understandable considering Saleem, Lacle and Syed have dug an incredibly deep hole from themselves and the gig is up. What would they even say?
The only thing I would believe at this point is something filed with the SEC... And even then I'd be skeptical. The HRRT.PK stock I owned filed fraudulent information with the SEC. Turds!!
IMO you will NEVER see a release from this crew again. Only once they are gone will Michelex be able to post credible information for public consumption.
The company has not been quiet. I have received correspondence from Mr. Saleem directly with the same recycled lies.
The burden of proof is on THEM to show that what they said is true. Nothing so far has added up. A reputable company would be transparent, finalize and submit financials to the SEC and address its shareholders with verifiable facts.
Two things...
A. I told you guys a "DRAFT FINAL AUDIT" was a ridiculous oxymoron. For a refresher on how that release impacted investors, go back and re-read some of the posts from July 19-25. It really got some people artificially excited, which I'm sure was the intent. In a word: Fraud.
B. Mr. Saleem responded to my inquiry regarding the finances of Michelex and specifics regarding funding with this: "The financial questions were all addressed in the draft financial statements that are already on the web site."... December 14th.
So, less than two weeks ago, Mr. Saleem was still playing this game of deceit.
Thank you Sawdin for digging and digging and digging!! Evidence defeats doubt!!
HSM,
There is no Press Release coming from this group. The company is in complete turmoil. Somebody is optimistic things are going to turn, but it's still a gamble, albeit at a low risk (less than $8K traded today).
The BIG volume will come when we get a new BOD and potentially some new investors to fuel the growth.
In the spirit of full-disclosure, please note that I am one of the co-signers of the shareholder letter.
This is the most straight-forward and sensible solution to a sinking ship. The shareholders can save this company and help shape the direction of Michelex and its revenue-driver, Pristine.
I'm all in :)
There are things we can do as shareholders to solve the issues plaguing Michelex. Crossing our fingers will unfortunately not get the job done. Certain officers have committed fraud. Replacement of those officers is a necessary step.
Pristine can provide the revenue-generation Michelex needs, but only through individuals of integrity, of which Messieurs Saleem, Lacle and Syed are not.
For those of you who think Mr. Saleem can continue as part of this corporation, think again. You can choose to close your eyes to what has already occurred for a short-term fix (more promises and a shiny PR). However, it's only a matter of time before the criminal investigation catches up with him and MLXO is setback once again.
A unified group of shareholders can accomplish everything we all want.
Harr, you are 100% right on.
The acquisition announcement was a pump, the DRAFT FINAL AUDIT was the same and essentially every PR proceeding was the same. Mr. Hayden will be getting a call soon, as will some other fellas who don't take kindly to CEOs ripping off shareholders...
Merry Christmas, Harr!!
Thank you kind sir!! I hope Santa puts a couple hundred thousand moreshares in your stocking!! ;)
The truth will deliver us :)
Whether they know it or not, sawdin is the best thing MLXO shareholders have going for them at this point. I'm glad mugs57 is seeing that as well. Not only is he doing DD, he's able to connect the dots AND take appropriate action.
I'm very grateful he's doing what he's doing. It definitely helps me sleep better at night!!
At the core, I think we all want the same thing:
- A functional Pristine to drive the revenue for MLXO
- A transparent Board of Directors, building business with integrity
- A stock price reflective of the ACTUAL value and ACTUAL potential of MLXO (which I think is potentially tremendous)
It's easy for sniping to occur on these boards, and I'm guilty of it at times. It's easy to get frustrated when individuals are ripping you off and emotion creeps in. I want to apologize for jabs I may have thrown in the past, particularly at Harr and Deano. I know you're both in the corner of MLXO. We may disagree on how we approach things, but I'm confident we want the same outcome in the end.
Shareholders will need to be united going forward. 500,000,001 united shares carries a lot of weight.
Happy Holidays to all!!
(even ElCheepo!!)
Even "figureheads" get charged in 2011... Isn't that how Lacle is described? A "figurehead"?
Anyone associated with MLXO is about to have their lives changed in a very real way. The fact that someone turned their head will not save them. If you are an officer, a former officer or a property owner involved with this operation you are on notice. Justice will be served.

About the same time I purchased my first batch of Michelex shares, I invested in another beauty of a stock (yes, I am an idiot!). The name of the company at the time was Signalife and it went through a couple of name changes thereafter. I believe today it is known as Heart Tronics in the court filings.
At the time it looked like a very attractive stock. It was trading at a suppressed level due to some recent setbacks, but had announced some new direction and most importantly it announced it had orders which would be producing revenue.
Willie Gault, yes, Willie Gault, formerly the NFL's Fastest Man came aboard as co-CEO and seemed to add some legitimacy to the organization. I invested about $30K.
Soon, the stock started spiral downward. Those who began to raise questions about the legitimacy of some of the announcements were belittled on the message boards by those who were "in the know" and who had done their "due diligence". Even when the stock underwent a ridiculous reverse split to drive up the price and then tanked again, there was a core group still insisting that the stock was a pure winner.
However, those who were shunned, mocked and belittled, went to the authorities and low and behold, justice is being served.
Unfortunately for me, the parallels to MLXO are all too real.
For those of you who still think this current Board of Directors just ran into some bad luck, still needs more time and that this crew of individuals really has the best interests of shareholders in mind, please read the excerpts from today's press release.
"WASHINGTON – An attorney for a South Carolina health care device company, Signalife, was arrested on December 18, 2011, at Los Angeles International Airport on charges related to his alleged role in a multi-million dollar market manipulation fraud scheme, Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division announced today.
An indictment unsealed yesterday in United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida charges attorney Mitchell J. Stein, 53, of Hidden Hills, Calif ., and Boca Raton, Fla ., with one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, three counts of mail fraud, three counts of wire fraud, three counts of securities fraud, three counts of money laundering and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice. The indictment also seeks forfeiture of the proceeds of the offenses.
The indictment alleges that Stein engaged in a scheme to artificially inflate the stock price of Signalife Inc. by creating the false impression of sales activity for the company. Signalife, now known as Heart Tronics, was a publicly traded company that purportedly sold electronic heart monitoring devices. According to the indictment, Stein’s wife held approximately 85 percent of the shares of Signalife.
The indictment alleges that Stein and his co-conspirators created fake purchase orders and related documents from fictitious customers and then caused Signalife to issue press releases and file documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) trumpeting these fictitious sales. The indictment also alleges that in a further effort to create the false appearance of sales activity, Stein arranged to have Signalife products shipped to and temporarily stored with an individual who had not purchased any products.
The indictment further alleges that Stein and his co-conspirators sold shares of Signalife stock at inflated prices, disguising the fact that they were doing so by placing the shares in purportedly blind trusts. In addition to selling shares in that manner, Stein and his co-conspirators allegedly also caused Signalife to issue additional shares to third parties so that those third parties could sell the shares and remit the proceeds of those sales to Stein and his co-conspirators. "
Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
Dude, there have been many days when you were the ONLY one posting anything which made any sense. It wasn't long ago when this message board was filled with talk of Las Vegas parties and big celebrations while the PRs kept trickling in with more and more FALSE information...
Your head may not be on straight, but at least it's not in the sand ;)
And if they can't handle the scrutiny of an obscure investor's message board, I wonder how they'll enjoy their initial deposition...
The "right" PR is the one which is true. I'd prefer not see anymore deception.
I'm not sure I follow. Are you saying nobody pays attention to this board? What other message boards currently have active discussion regarding MLXO. Yahoo is a dud...
And sometimes rumors are true or false depending on the facts.
Spot on, Harr!!
Evidence defeats doubt!!
You may want to pay attention to the trading activity of the stock. The typical volume is a big fat ZERO... Nobody's buying and those trying to sell ain't having much luck...
I'm not selling. I've steeled myself for the long hall. I know how far I'll go in pursuit of the truth and in pursuit of a new Board of Directors. People like myself are part of the solution, not part of the problem. Action, not opinions, speculation and whining will drive change.
YAWN...
The context of the point is the same. People are dumping shares at a ridiculous price. 5.4M is not a small number...
Or, we could just give the current board a second chance? Given their reputations, the glamor of the past PRs backed up by the "FINAL DRAFT AUDIT" and in the spirit of the holidays, this might be a good time to consider apologizing to them and asking them for another 18 months of their leadership.
It can't get any worse right?
SAND <------ Insert head here.
I couldn't agree more :)
Yes, please suppress any convictions you may have. True leaders always flinch in the face of adversity. I believe a heavy dose of Scooby Doo reruns is in order...
Perhaps Mr. Hayden could find out as part of a follow up story. It might be interesting to know and it would be good to know why bills are not being paid for.
That's a novel suggestion!!
The defense to defamation is truth.
The burden would be on the plaintiff to show that damage to reputation was inflicted as a result of the statements. Further, those damages would have to be proven and quantified.
Further, anyone who is suing for damages in a defamation will open their entire history open for discovery. Past lawsuits, civil or criminal records and other indiscretions will become relevant in establishing the value of their "reputation".
I am an (n) of one, however, Mr. Lacle has A) Shown no interest in pursuing either the short, or long-term interests of MLXO; B) Lived up to any so-called "reputation". Does anyone know him first-hand? Or, are they reading his bio from Key Management, his prime employer and press releases written by MLXO? C) In a year contributed either through dereliction, or worse to the collapse of MLXO's value.
I am not in support of Mr. Lacle in any way, shape or form. He must go.
He had cemented his reputation in my mind through his performance as "President" of MLXO. He should be ashamed of enabling this circus to transpire. Don't make excuses for him. He's a big boy, I'm not giving anybody mulligans with my money. Period!
Agreed. And you could argue Pristine is NOT a functioning entity - no phones, no employees, doors closed (and likely repossessed). Pristine is simply a sub-contracting entity from what I can tell. Kakani is Pristine and that's about it...
Rumor has it Saleem and Syed are turning on Shah. If that's the case, he could end up being the one holding the bag in the end. Shah has deep pockets. We'll have to see how deep his involvement in this shell game goes. He, Lacle and Syed should be targets for restitution. Saleem has a history of bankruptcies, so who knows if he even has the assets to make things right. He's quite the piece of work.
Unfortunately, they are not waiting for the end of the year. Saleem, Lacle, Syed and Shah are AWOL. They have no intention in running a legitimate business. There may be substantial criminal mischief as the funds promised to Pristine in published format were never delivered. All of the Board members are liable, including Shah. The relentless pursuit of answers and action from the Board has been fruitless. It's time to pursue them legally. Every one of them.
Most of you have seen this story in the online edition. It looks like it made the hard-copy edition today...
http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/article/20111210/NEWS05/712109909
I completely agree. I have sent follow up messages to my original emails. The target should be the BOD, minus VK...
By that logic ENRON was golden :)
You crack me up...
