Quest has over 100years of heavy REE in it's claims and should be able to return to shareholders a dividend of over $4 a yr. this is long term play and molycorp would have to offer $40 a share for my stock
have you looked at the 2011 annual report. they made a small find on the border with Labrador and newfoundland that they need to incorporate into the prefeasibility study. that is what Peter was referring to a minor delay IMHO
in the latest interview Peter says the prefeasibilty study will not be ready till second half of the year instead of this quarter and full product has been pushed to 2017. the Volume traded has been realitively low leading people that want sell to lower their asking price.

i agree the Chinese are trying to drive down the sp of all REE's, especially LYNAS. they have been trying to buy the controlling interest in Lynas for several years to no avail.
All militaries need these products for their guidance systems.
and the Canadian military is very interested in QRM going into production.

Based on PE ratio of 10 PS should be in the $65-$70 range by mid 2016
Why the divergence on Friday?
TSX-V: QRM $3.330 +0.260 (8.47%)
NYSE Amex: QRM $2.970 -0.120 (-3.88%)
This is a well known fact that REE's are not rare
Qrm's original April 2010 analysis was that they could make 7 billion over the life of the mine. this was based on the 3 yr average price (2007-2009) of REE's. Those prices would have to decline way below todays levels.
Quebec Territorial Government will not want to lose out on this kind of revenue 30% of profits. They will do everthing that is necessary to see that businesses like these above the 49th parallel.

the primary issue with Quest is the infrastructure issue - do you think the quebec gov't is going to let a mine of this size not be developed and bring in revenue to the territory for some 75 years ?
closed @ $3.24 After hours
hope it has some legs today
Volume is almost double this morning and it is only 12PM
updated today on raremetalblog that the gov't has made more copies available with a duration extension of 4 hours
I still think ; Peter will have some kind of deal with GE or some other big windmill firm as the Japanese auto firms seem to be looking for something right away ie lynas or MCP.
IMO Peter is looking for a deal that would trade 25 to 40 % of the material for 5 to 7 yrs. There are to many varaiables going out to 2022 and beyond.
