Relentless selling over the last 2 months.
Did you, like a squirrel, accumulate shares at 18 cents?
I expect a rebound by Friday into the 20 cents because of end of qtr window dressing.
Selling that too when mkt is near 3 yr highs.
Probably because ABTL has frustrated holders for such a long time that people are dumping at any price. Seeing the mkt at highs hurts as well when this stock is acting moribund.
I am expecting a short term pop by Friday end. Just because of qtr ending window dressing. Let's see if it happens.
Another day. Another firm says buy. And ABTL does nothing. What's new? Same old story for ABTL for the last year.
They are a respectable small/micro cap research firm.
How are you GB? No news from you in a while.
Might pop today. End of qtr selling may be over and other funds may pop for window dressing. If not today then maybe next Friday, which will be the last Friday of qtr.
Market has soared since 2009. QQQ at nearly 70. And this stock drifts to near record lows.
Did you get an opportunity to talk to management?
Lots of shares available below 20 cents today.
Hope you have recovered.
Never ending supply of shares available to sell. Now also available in the low 20 cents range.
The option was to buy about 3m shares for 1.04 pps, I think. That was what NCR paid for the first 3m shares. With the pps near 20cents, they can buy the shares cheaper in the open market if they want.
NCR had the option to buy an additional number of shares that would have taken their stake from the current/actual 3million to 7million. This option has expired. Hence NCR now owns 3million (17%) and this has been the case for the last few years.
Nothing really has changed other than that the option expired.
Dumping going on. Again in the next conf call, David will say how great things are etc and the stock will likely keep going down.
If he had conviction, he would have bought here or atleast done a buyback.
Regarding volume, for the last several quarters, the trend has been a drop to 25 cents a few days before earnings and a rise quickly to 35 to 40 cents on strong volume in the days following earnings release. A big seller then always pops up in 35 to 40 cents range.
Not this week. Not this earnings. Volume has been anemic, though higher than normal days, and stock is trending lower.
I am disappointed by the stock's performance over the last 2 months. I didn't see any eager buying. Rather I notice eager sellers, waiting to sell. Just my observation.
Speedy recovery wishes to you two.
They are adapting based on the recent emphasis on remote capture with cloud support. Not sure how much of their scanners were being sold to individuals as that market will quickly erode as a smartphone can now be used to scan docs. Their enterprise market (selling to banks for ATM etc) might still be fine for the short term.
Management seems confident. And there were 3 individuals (Dave, CFO & Martin Boliek)on the conf call. Alas, not one question was asked at the conf call.
Why is the stock performing so poorly when business execution has been fine? And at a time when stock market is touching highs? What do you think? I thought the stock was going to break past 40s a few months ago but now we are back to low 20's.

Has your position on DCMT changed?
I bought a few today.
Relentless selling. In low 20s now.
More insider buying.

News. BOD and Mercury agreement.
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/120815/abtl8-k.html
On August 7, 2012, Mercury Management, L.L.C., a Texas limited liability company ("Mercury") notified the Company that various investment funds managed by Mercury ("Mercury Funds") held, in the aggregate, approximately 400,000 shares of Common Stock, or approximately 4.5% of the outstanding Common Stock. Mercury requested that the Board consider exercising its discretionary authority under the Plan to deem Mercury and its Affiliates not to be an Acquiring Person and to grant a Plan Exemption for Mercury and its Affiliates to beneficially own not more than 7.5% of the outstanding Common Stock. The Board considered Mercury's request and granted Mercury and its Affiliates a Plan Exemption, subject to and in reliance upon the Stockholders entering into and remaining in compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Standstill Agreement.
Who is Kevin?

A new 7.2% stakeholder in ABTL. Kevin Howe of Mercury Funds.
More insider buying. Ferriolo William will likely go hungry this week because of this massive cash outlay.

Earnings today.
Question is what this stock will do, if numbers are disappointing?
Despite previous conf calls' rosy outlooks, the stock keeps drifting down to 20 odd cents.
Disappointed with DCMT, the stock.

You too have a nice weekend. I doubt we will go anywhere for a while. Revenue growth is slow. And unless that changes or a buyout happens we will be in 3's for a while I feel. Watch out for weak market days and when some fund dumps. Those will likely be good times to accumulate more.
Looks like we are in 3.41 to 3.8 range for now.
Nasdaq.com doesn't list all the trades. Don't rely too much on it. Many of my trades even don't show up on that site. Yes those big trades occurred. You can check here.

Such technology is a competition to DCMT's scanners. Chris Lahiji asked David about such tech in the last conf call.
I hope that they sell the company. Stock has been a trap. There is always a seller willing to dump when the stock touches 30 cents.
I haven't added to my position in almost 2 months.
Thanks. Is it connected to DCMT in any way? I mean, does it use DCMT software/products?
Video of the same:
Someone dumping at this low price.

Exactly. All these buy recommendations and seemingly company is doing well and yet stock is treading water with a downward bias.
Yes, unfortunately.
True, especially for small companies, where biz landscape can change from quarter to quarter, and hence could be/are subject to frequent target revisions. The 12 month time frame, I look upon as a part of the theoretical definition of the price target.
