until news hits. then .0002s could disappear quickly.
remember, both Genport and Colebrooke know more about what's going on than we do. somebody's buying all of these .0001s. we keep getting a bid back. i believe the sequester is good for the chances with the PBIS. if it saves them money, that's how the government books cost cutting. it's nothing for them to spend millions, if, in turn, it saves millions.
i'm beginning to think this sequester could be very good for AFPW. the need for weather balloons isn't just going away. a big cut in funding could be just the thing that causes the military to order more PBISs as a cost savings device. the timing could be right too, as they've now had some time to work with the modified PBIS. let's hope.
i have a question for the board. what is the status of the potential reverse split? i know it's been discussed off and on. i know the company was going to do it last year and then didn't. is there still a looming RS or the potential for one? i don't mean to knock the company, but i know there's an awful lot of shares out there.
only?!?
strictly speaking, what this company has a delivery system for pure hydrogen gas that's many times more efficient and less expensive than any other method available today. i can easily imagine the day when you stop off at the gas station to pick up a 6 pack of Alumifuel cans for your next 500 mile trip in your hydrogen powered car. i realize that's still years away, but this is the future of energy. so, yes, .40 or $40 per share is possible, it's just a question of time frame. AFPW
wow!!! this sort of pumping always worries me. i just hope it's a sign that things really are about to turn around. AFPW
i don't think it's going to be another 3-6 months. at least i hope it isn't.
ahemmm...didn't you hear: "The next steps in the merger process include executing the definitive Merger Agreement, completing the capital raising effort already underway by Colebrooke Capital Ventures of New York City, and converting NovoFuel into a public entity at the appropriate time."
if i were you, i would stop with the mindless bashing and start picking up these .0002s. there's still time to get in on this before the next announcement, which could send us skyward. AFPW
remember, we're not talking about a RS of AFPW. we're talking about a RS that becomes the basis for the OS of a completely new company. a company that's 50% owned by Genport. maybe 25 million shares become 40000 shares, but suddenly we're on the Nasdaq and selling at $3+ a share, with huge potential for growth. i think most of us could live with that. i know i could. nathanial mentioned one possibiliity, Genport retiring their shares. there's lots of ways to make a RS under these conditions fair to everyone. anyway you look at this, you're going to have to take what they offer if you own shares right now. your only choice is to sell. i think the smart thing to do is hold. i've always felt the PBIS is fine as an early application of their hydrogen gas delivery system, but it's the delivery system that's valuable here. seems like every day i'm reading more and more about a need to get off of fossil fuels. we've got the answer.
i don't mean to suggest that this will turn out to be a bad thing for investors in AFPW. obviously, i'm hoping it won't be. i really think an equitable buy back of shares or some sort of beneficial RS which leaves existing shareholders in a decent position with the new company are the only reasonable options--maybe a choice between the two. anyway you look at it, it's going to be interesting. GLTA
i've got to believe that Genport isn't just going to burn existing shareholders in this company. i keep thinking the "financing" they're referring to in the last PR is, at least in part, an equitable buy out or share buyback. at least that's what i keep wanting to believe. time will tell. AFPW
the bottom line is that they raised the AS to, i believe, 7.5 billion(correct me if i'm wrong). i'm sure they calculated out how many shares they'd need to sell at the absolute lowest amount they could, in the absolute worst case scenario, in order to survive until they started making money. we will probably see most, if not all, of those shares sold in order to pay their bills, including manufacturing costs, before we get any major news. it's just how it is with a company this size. i hope we get news soon. i haven't lost site of the very real potential here, but days like these are pretty painful. GLTA AFPW
or .09. that would be even better!!! AFPW
well said!!!
until there's news, this is what we can expect.
i second that!
the military, as well as the rest of the government, is under a lot of pressure to cut spending wherever they can. Alumifuel cost less. it's really that simple. the more i think about this, the more i think a buy out is a very real possibility.
this is the most astute comment i've seen in a while. exactly my sentiments. AFPW
if they announce a sale to another country or entity that would be huge right now. they did announce interest from others as a result of the world expo in Brussels. we'll have to wait and see if anything comes of it.
thank you for that JP. i've been here a while, and i'm really not sweating it a whole lot. if you've taken the opportunity to average down, the odds are excellent you'll at least break even or make a few $$$. i can almost guarantee this stock will move again once the right news hits. it's unfortunate that we're where we are right now, but what AFPW has is potentially huge.
it's sad what this discussion forum has degenerated into. hopefully news will come soon and the bs will go away.
what i don't understand is, doesn't the management of Genport read this message board? if they did they'd know that some here are calling AFPW a scam. why would a company as big as Genport be getting involved with a scam? i'm confused. someone must be wrong...hmmm
that is some strange buying. i'm counting 44 buys of 9999 shares. any explanations?
my feeling is that these last several PRs are building towards something, hopefully good.
we're within a month, possibly two on news about the revised PBIS 2000 for the AF. i'm still privately thinking this fiscal cliff and the sequester is holding back the AF from buying. hopefully that's temporary, but even if we go over the fiscal cliff, in the long run that's good news for us because we can save the AF $$$. they're still gonna need to use weather balloons. then there's at least 3 or 4 other potential avenues through which we get significant news that changes everything. my philosophy is, you've got to be in it to win it. sure i wish i'd started buying at .0001, but i'm not worried that we'll see greener days in the future. AFPW has a product that could be worth billions.
i think everybody's just preoccupied with the news and how it affects the pps. unfortunately, at this point, revenues, or at the very least, hard proof that revenues are coming soon, is the only thing that moves this stock.
AFPW
my scottrade is showing no bid and no ask. that's not good.
more or less what i expected to see. any good news will send this north. otherwise, a RS is definitely a possibility down the road.
fortunately, what you think, means less and less to anyone reading your post here. i too, hope for .0006, so you can sell your shares and move on.
i think you have to. that is, if you believe this will one day have value again.
that's what i'm thinking too. there's a reason the bashers are here on the weekend working overtime.
Scottrade is still showing the bid/ask at .0001/.0002. it's not got to no bid at all, yet.
at the risk of sounding like a pumper, this is probably one of the best sub-pennies out there. it's a very good bet that at these prices, you're likely to make some money at some point in the future. that's why the accumulation numbers are as high as they are.
some nice buys coming in. could there be some news about to break?
someone tried to close this out at .0001 on 50cents worth of stock. then we closed on a 911 at .0002. looks like something's brewing.
there's really no foreseeable events for probably the next two weeks or so. depending on what happens in Brussels, there might be extra time needed for any ink to dry on deals made there.
i never question anyone's trading decisions. everyone has every right to play any trade anyway they see fit. this is the real world and this game is about making money.
it's nothing but spite.
