Mill valley film festivals ends today. Wonder what transpired and if they got any exposure.
About the 36th Mill Valley Film Festival
Presented by the California Film Institute, the 36th Mill Valley Film Festival runs October 3-13, 2013 at the CineArts@Sequoia (25 Throckmorton Avenue, Mill Valley), Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center (1118 Fourth Street, San Rafael), and other venues throughout the Bay Area.
The internationally acclaimed Mill Valley Film Festival is greatly anticipated by cinema aficionados and film industry professionals alike, is well known for the quality of its programming, and is considered a major launching pad for the annual awards season. It has established an impressive track record for launching new films and new filmmakers, and has earned a reputation as a filmmakers' festival by offering a high-profile, prestigious, noncompetitive environment for celebrating the best in independent and world cinema. MVFF holds the distinction of presenting premieres of four of the last five films that have gone on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture (Slumdog Millionaire, The King's Speech, The Artist, Argo).
Each year, the 11-day Festival welcomes more than 200 filmmakers, representing over 50 countries from around the world. Festival sections include: World Cinema; US Cinema; Valley of the Docs; Children's Film Fest; 5@5, a daily shorts program; and Active Cinema, MVFF's activist films initiative. Gala celebrations, tributes to actors and filmmakers, workshops, panels and seminars, as well as opportunities to mingle with filmmakers in the spectacular setting of the San Francisco Bay Area are just a few of the reasons Screen International named Mill Valley one of its top 10 US film festivals.
Happy 48th birthday Dr. david foley. Go ntek
To be in nvidia manufacturer you have to have an order of 100Gs chip as per their website which I dont have a link to.
http://www.techhollywood.com/about.html
This was something you had mentioned in tomorrow will be televised. Dont know if this technology has anything to do with you guys but just wanted to share it with you.
Thats 100Gs locked up from the float. Cant complain.
Its Jeffery Foley, not David. Althouh David did buy in 2010
* "Insiders might sell their shares for any number of reasons, but they buy them for only one: they think the price will rise" (Peter Lynch, one of the greatest investors of all time)?
* Insiders know their industry, in particular the company they are managing.?
* Insider trading can be profitable only if securities prices move. Therefore, insiders hoping to trade on inside information may try to get the price to move by cutting the company's costs, seeking new products, and so on. While such actions benefit the insider, they also benefit the firm's security holders as a group.?
* No one invests to lose money, so do corporate insiders. They are prevented from buying and selling their company stock within a six-month period: therefore, insiders buy stock when they feel the company will perform well over the long-term
Yes open market
Not ugly at all. Beautiful day for the mm are loading up for the news thats about to come out. Gotta be in the water to catch the wave.
Thanks. I feel special now.
Re: jutkl Post# 90844 It's going to be a very well known outfit Jutkl. I don't know specifics but what I do have is a quote from David as follows:
This was an interaction we were having relative to NTEK's relationship with nVidia.
"nVidia has been not only instrumental in getting us fast tracked to production, getting us in the queue for chips, but also OPENING THE DOOR TO THE BIGGEST MANUFACTURING PARTNERS in the world which would have taken 6 months but instead took 6 days thanks to nVidia's help and connections"
Sounds pretty good to me!!
There has to be some logic as to what you stated earlier. David did mention that nvidia fast tracked their nuvola np1 by setting them up with industry know hows per biginvestments conversation with david
Nvidia was trying to get into the handheld gameconsole space but the launch was delayed. I dont know about buyout but I could see a joint venture of that sort. Pure speculation on my part.
About 20K$ a movie. Dont know exactly how much time it takes. Thats just the scanning time. You have to process and clean up the film then you have to add the soundtrack back. I am sure whatever they remaster will be available in their 4K channel so it will be reoccurring revenue stream. Not sure what original content they are working on but it would be sweet if they one day end up producing sitcoms like the thwatlight sega or lickalotofpus series.
Its not just a 4K streamer. Not everyone has a 4K TV. At least they are showing you something. so you calling NTEK a scam?
Whats the point in showing this?
Your chart is upside down.
Sorry to bother you on your day off. Just have a question thats been bothering me. The size of a 4K film has to be enormous. The highest right now is Blu-Ray but that cant even fit a 4K movie on it. The industry is already in 4K. Has anyone figured out the next storage for playback on a player(vsh to DVD to Blu-Ray....). You guys figured out how to do it streaming, was wondering if you guys were working on the hardware part of it.
So you guys found a way to speed the process and make 4k masters even better. Wow! On average, how much does it cost to remaster (upscaling) to 4k? Thanks and have a goodnight
I tried getting an update from IR a few Weeks back. Got a reply saying it was in production and that there would be a PR stating who their manufacturer were. I had posted it here on this message board. Anyones guess is as good as mine.
Man I shouldve been an CPA. Cash only. Thats the last time I email ir with that question.
It cost 200Gs to get audited. Wow that is crazy. Id rather have that spent on R&D and getting things to market. No more asking for audited fin.
4K Studios to remaster 35mm film. Hmmmm. Our own 4K channel. Hmmmm. There are lots of people that would pay to watch Scarface, The Godfather, Bladerunner in 4K. The possibilities! Pinch me but not too hard cause I think im dreaming. Original content too! Wow! Well anyways all I know is what ntek prs. Call me crazy but im investing in the furture possibilities of what ntek can do. This for me is a pristine opportunity to buy into the furture of TV. Never invest more than what you cannot afford to lose. Everything expressed in the above statements are of my opinion. Do not invest due to my opinion. Always do your own due diligence and trade smart.
This is a significant investment of cash and stock for us to create this studio, however we believe that it will provide a substantial return on our investment in a matter of months, not years, as we already have several customers lined up with multiple projects queued for production.?

Thanks. Was drinking Jamaica rum thats63% alc/vol last night. Now that really has no relevance. One app I believe will be an interactive app thats linked to the TV program and you can pause the show and have information on your handheld device displayed about the paused screen shot. Am I slurring as I type?
Diagnosis is im bored and pondering about stupid things that have no relevance.
Yes, this I know. On the radio interview David had mentioned about 4kStudios also. Was just wondering about the timing. It is of no revelance I guess.
Somethings make you wonder hmmm. Recent PR states completion of 4k Studios to be completed be end of sept. So they have been working on this for awhile. Just wondering why they choose that day to release news. Why not earlier or after the completion. I dont know the answer but am I the only one that ponders this?
Email IR?
I second that notion and raise you $100. In NTEK I trust with my neighbors baby cause I dont have one.
Man your good.
What makes you think its 3B. axlx has an AS of 8B. 8-1.6=6.4B to dump.
