More sellers than buyers...
Do you want a hot towel as well?
If concerned about dilution then why look at penny stocks to begin with
+1. I even read that article this morning but must have read too fast because i didnt even notice it mentioned Abe!
Maybe those articles from the goons at hotstocked.com or whatever are working after all! Any press is good press these days!
yes
LOL!!!
Bollies look good from my view...
just saw this; i knew what you meant, i was just being a moron.
on another subject i'm curious why volume exploded mid day today. maybe news tomorrow? i guess we'll find out at 3 am.
Unlisted stocks usually have low correlation with the big boards, go sltd
If a company waits for cheaper price points their competition will get all the business
What if Abe falls off a roof
How is this relevant to sltd
GTAT went bankrupt today, cross that one off the list as a potential partner
Nice find, would be funny if that article was a stock promo
I'll be sure to record that in my diary.
On another subject, does JN really respond to people or not? I've sent him two emails and no response. Once when we were at $0.07 and then yesterday. I guess I'll just keep trying.
The article referenced in yesterday's PR is also a must read.
p.s. I'm more of a shartist than a chartist, go sltd!!!
Better than that it looks like a small buy at 20
good take; my concern is that JN better have some life changing news up his sleeve and soon, otherwise things could get ugly real fast.
Was her name negative nancy
People who buy high, sell low
Vivint goes public tomorrow (ticker VSLR); a strong day for them should (hopefully) translate to a strong day for us because it'll give investors a bigger solar company stock universe to contrast/compare valuation metrics, which should boost upward shtuff like average price/sales multiples.
maybe thats why JN put out that random PR about buying v leasing???
A knock on those BX bastards?!
You got nothing on us Schwarzman, SLTD forever!!!
and on top of that we get some pretty respectable press time tomorrow. good times for SLTD
If ur negative nancy then markp is the angel of death lol
There was another one right before the bell too, I'm just using the ihub app
Two buys at 1885 for 15k
12 million shares at $0.18 average = over $2 million. That in itself is amazing for a penny stock.
In that case forget seeking alpha, tell john Paulson. He's a big holder of ANR and got crushed all the way down. Maybe SLTD can be his saving grace?

That article is from two years ago
i wonder if we'll hear any more news prior to the ribbon cutting event on the 30th? Or maybe they'll have hookers and blow at the ceremony? The way they're spending money on fluff PRs they might as well burn money on something more entertaining.
so BX buys Vivint in Nov 2012, and their 2013 sales shoot up 5,000% thanks to no-money down financing. Meanwhile the first 6 months of 2014 sales have outgrown all of 2013 by 150%.
Meanwhile our crew matched all of 2013 sales in the first six months of 2014 without the backing of the largest PE firm in the world. And we're talking SIMILAR dollar amounts; it's not as if Vivint is selling billions and we're selling hundreds.
Yeah, I like JN's gang just fine.
p.s. if i'm doing the math correctly an equivalent mkt cap with Vivint would give SLTD a price of ~$5.50
i take anything posted online to be gospel truth. especially when it concerns money.
I expect news soon if only because I'm getting sick of waking up at 3 am to see if there's a new PR.
i know it's only money, but i'm not sure asking for ex post investment advice on an internet bulletin board is the way to go.
i guess that's my question, how do they define "power" other than watts or jouls? Thats why i was thinking/hoping/praying they really meant "efficiency."
p.s. to answer the question of why Abe left, my guess is he either failed his new hire drug test, or he agreed to stay on under a contingent basis under some sort of agreement that he'd bring on a new contract with the Kendall-Jackson people. Happy trails Abe!
question for the board:
with 350+ posts it's hard to tell if this was already discussed, but in the one PR JN says "the combination of these two features would produce double the power of a conventional solar cell. Our early indication is that we will be able to meet that ambitious goal."
So with average cell efficiency being ~20%, is he saying the new SLTD cell is showing up with ~40% efficiency????? And not only that but he's confident that it's cost effective enough that a major player would be interested? If I'm reading that right then I'd look to SCTY, SPWR or a Chinese firm as the interested partner in which case this is no longer a penny stock.
do a little math and you could argue SCTY has NPV of $1.60/W. We're not the Rives so let's be conservative and discount by 40% to $0.96/W or about a buck per watt.
3,000,000 watts x $1.00 = $3,000,000. Somewhere in that $3MM range is probably correct for SLTD. Not bad for a day's work.
p.s. did anybody bother to look up "jackson family winery?" is that really the same as the Kendall-Jackson brand??
buy low, sell high, and trade accordingly. this has been in a nice little pattern for weeks if not months! as long as you still expect good cell news there's no reason to panic.
by tonight do you mean 3 am EST tomorrow like they normally do?
my guess is it gets added to the S&P 500 within 30 days
short trading day yo, happy 4th to all!
All that matters is that Elon and his Rive cousins stay interested. But as others have said, if we get fluff news about the cell technology expect bad things to happen to the share price. On that note go SLTD
somebody get Steve Schwarzman from Blackstone on the line. With good SLTD cell news I bet he'd put in enough capital to make that happen.
Now that is funny picturing two billionaires fighting over a penny stock. Stranger things have happened!
