And what's the difference where some fool sells at? Stock price is set by many factors but most important is what is the seller willing to sell it for. Especially in a company that is in its development stage. While like others I would have enjoyed a much faster completion of the permitting and contracting process the real key is that we know they have the funding to do the construction and the contracts to sell the gas after. SO it remains not if but when. Compare to NXTD, they just had a significant drop from $5 don to $2 because they need capital to do their advertising and get product to market. We have not seen that dilution here. I agree with "Anti", if you are not here for the long, sell your stock now, because continuing to sell will only drive the price down short term. Once the sellers run out of stock, the price will climb back up to 60-90 cents, the steady state until hard numbers become available to know the actual profit/earnings etc., then you can see the $1-$5 we all want.
It will keep drifting downward until news released , then if news is good, as most assume it will be, the sellers will kick themselves. If it isn't (God forbid) then they will be happy.
We can see $2 after permitting, we certainly won't see it until then. What drives price? So many things but a plant being constructed foretells a source of income, that means value.
I couldn't agree more. I have a lot of shares. I have sold some, only at the ask, when I needed some cash, I have bought back shares, at the bid, pity the fool who sells. You can keep trying to crash the price, There are enough shares held by wiser hands that people may hurt the price but it will bounce back. I too wish things happened overnight, unfortunately they don't. I too wish they would even give us a small update, but remember they have to pay for those updates so they want them to matter. You can cut and run, go right ahead, you can buy and stay, either way, as they say, cut bait or cut.
You are right, selling is not good. But I direct you to NXTD where a run caused people to dump their stock at a loss, only to see it recover all and then some. So people can continue to dump cheap, when they finally get permits, not if but when, those who sold will kick themselves. It is a $2-5 stock or higher. Yes, it may still be years or months until then. But I for one will not dump my stock out of fear.
Very evident you are not the only one who thinks so. If you are going to increase your holding i think the opportunity is running out to do so cheaply. I do believe that once all news is out and shovel hits the ground the price will go up to fluctuate in the .75-1.25 range for a bit until opening and then move to the big times. JMHO.
I apologize, meant to finish and post posted. Canacol released they are increasing production, presumably to supply the Nataly 1 and 2. We may not be far from announcement of permitting.
Coming up on 2 1/2 months
I agree. Otherwise we will lose all the ground we gained and the naysayer's will eat away at
the people's confidence and get them to keep lowering the price. If they release any news we are back at 60-90 cents depending on quality of news. It almost seems like they are trying to fly under the radar until the stock is ready to explode to prevent someone from accumulating a large share too cheaply?? In any case, let's hope for news soon.
And this is what happens when corporate waits too long.
Come on people, don't chase the bidders, let them come to you.
I didn't know if you meant you were adding stock on the dips in price or on the news from the dips like Kristy, lol.
Just a little news and off we go....
Notice how Kristy posts as soon as there is activity and a start of a move upward.
Maybe he/she is afraid it will actually go up too much and their shorts will be caught in the down position?
I don't mind the no trade days, but I would love to hear what's happening down in Colombia way.
As am I, I want at least a dollar, but I am sure someone who got in at 2 cents or 20 cents may be happy enough especially if they needed the money. At least they stayed at ask or above.
I am sure at these prices someone who needed money sold, and someone who had some money to spare bought.
Kristy, I recognize that you feel strongly that this stock is a dog. The problem I have is that I have always had a pet dog, except for about 2 years. My latest, a miniature dachshund loves me unconditionally and I her, almost as much as my wife, but don't tell her. Stocks are like that too. People adopt certain stocks that they love unconditionally, even if they pee on the rug or chew up your favorite shoes. IAHL and Altenesol have certainly done their share of peeing. The news releases are few and far between, they do not yet have audited financials posted that I can find, etc. BUT they are a beautiful dog, who could be best in show. They did not do any fancy stock reduction when they acquired Altenesol and they could have, that was their opportunity. They have only released news that has been verifiable and of importance, no fluff. The concept of Altenesol is being able to subdivide a tanker, which brings small buyers in to play, a concept not able to be done before. The own the shipping and distribution as well as production, meaning costs are passed through on the contracts. So I see a definite group winner if not a Best in Show potential. If you don't, either you are blind or deliberately do not want to see. Or, maybe, you do like the stock and are trying to scare up shares to meet all that short selling you have been doing. Or just trying to get more shares as cheap as possible. I tell you what, come clean and be honest and I will sell you up to 50,000 at $1.
Buy it now, soon the price will be $2.
I too have been around, fortunately since just after the buyout of PVD and the turn to legitimacy. I agree the news is finally more substantive and able to be validated and that is the
key. As to when, I usually add 3-6 months to any prediction because it is South America,
then I won't be disappointed. I would bet groundbreaking before years end, maybe summer's end, and completion in 3-12 months. I am 59, I hoped to retire at 59 1/2 on this stock, I have over 500,000 shares, but believe I will be 60-62 before we are in the high single, possible low double digits, but that is not a bad time either.
$63 Billion annual return on a $20 billion investment. If we are investing $75 million and get the same return, $225 million annually (3 to 1) return, that equals a stock value of $5-15, wait isn't that what every one has been saying? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction to understand where they were coming up with these predictions, Kristy.
Thanks for the info Kristy, Now I am really sold on IAHL. The Gorgon project is now 200 wells over an entire island and subsea area. It is Australia's 4th LNG area, they are so profitable. The Gorgon alone creates 6000 jobs, and an increase in the GDP of Australia by $64.3 billion, with government revenue increased by $40 billion. They have sales agreements with China, Japan and India. Info from Wikipedia. So, since the project cost $20 billion and produces $63 billion a year, why are you so negative. Again, it seems you are trying to scare up shares. Just buy them, we aren't susceptible to bull hockey.
Maybe she means a nuclear power plant in 15 countries.
Oh, come on. I am certainly disappointed in the slowness but not in the overall progress. Billions to build a plant in Colombia? Surely you jest. The very article you quote says small volume productions are the only sure way to make a profit and you must control costs at all ends. You really haven't watched the creation of this company. While I agree there has been some degree of smoke and mirrors, they have used legitimate techniques to acquire with minimal outlay of capital the means to produce, transport and distribute the product. The real profit is the 1/100th of a cent per gallon, on a billion gallons a year. Natural gas burns the cleanest with the lowest carbon footprint. It will cost the least in carbon exchange costs in the future. This stock has maintained a 50 cent price point with no data you are correct. We know or believe that with data it will have the usual 4-9 times par value, of $1-10. If you don't want any, leave us woman, if you do, just pay the price now, we aren;t going to run in fear and drop our price. Whoever you are, you must be getting desperate to invest so much time and energy to get us to sell cheap. Well, we believe by end of year, 50 cents will be considered cheap. So, tell you what, go away, come back then.
Come on, you have got to be kidding. First, Peter van Dyke is gone. In fact, almost none of the original owners are still with the company, if any. That is public knowledge, but you are doing a scare tactic and facts don't matter. Then you attack natural gas, the energy source of the next 20 years agreed by almost everybody except the one obscure source you found. What happened? Did everyone stop selling you the stock cheap and then buying it back expensive so you could make money so now you are trying to scare us in to selling. If you truly believe all this I will buy every share you have for 30 cents to keep you from losing everything.
See, but according to corporate, it is our fault for selling shares at the bid. The sellers say it is corporate's fault for not putting out news. Actually, both are at fault. Corporate could be more
forthcoming. Sellers could be more patient. I understand the sellers. Some have bills to pay, some wait and wait, and then sees someone sell by dropping the ask, so they do the same. Hard not to jump on that band wagon. The reality is that at this time we have a concept that we all believe will be something great. The closer it gets, the higher the value will be, and indisputable value. For now, because it is not yet all done deals, people can be frightened. Reality, it keeps moving forward, slowly but surely. Bottom line, if you must sell, sell above the bid at least, preferably 3-5 cents above bid, make them come to you. They will come to you. They have shown it time and time again. If you can hold, then hold, give it time. While corporate is on South American time, mañana is fine, it is getting done, day by day. JMHO.
For 2 shares they are paying more in commission than the shares are worth.
I am not sure why people are upset about the selling.
It is called the Stock Exchange isn't it?
I do agree, bid whackers, who sell at bid, are fools.
But people buy and sell stock. And until financials showing income come out the
value of the company is its potential value. Obviously this is at present, with the news
showing, in the 50-70 cent range. As more news comes out the stock will go up.
We had 2 weeks of little selling, did the stock go up? No, it went down. The active level of this stock at present is right where it is. I predict with the next release that range will shift, by how much I can't say. But I would not sell all my stock just because someone wants to shift their holdings to bonds or needs money. I may buy more stock because I have faith that the ultimate price will be at least $3-5, maybe higher.
Just color me stupid. Every time I think people wise up, they dumb down. Why would anyone sell?
Can anyone explain it to me like I am a 5 year old. This stock has to go up if no one sells.
If they could be patient for 2 maybe 3 weeks, they could command 70 or even 80 cents.
There is something interesting happening. The lowballers/bidwhackers are buyer 500 shares, not 5,000 shares. Volumes are in the 100's not 1,000's or 10,000's. One more positive piece of news and we might see a nice breakout that sustains. I think with the info available now there are few that will undersell their stock out of fear. Those friends I have talked to who didn't get on the wagon before are looking to get on now, but unlike those of us who bought years ago at 5 and 10 and 20 cents they are going to be buying on the upswing when the breakout starts unless they are smart enough to start now. I could be wrong, but I think we are as low as we are going to go, and we will start drifting upward soon.
Look, these guys are willing to spend $500 to kill the price. Are you willing to do the same to jack it back up. If every owner bought just $250 every Friday, or even $100 it would keep the trend upward.
I believe the company has the same goal as us. I believe with patience we will reach that goal.
The impatient will slow us down interestingly enough.
Let's see, there are people posting negative comments, there are people selling at the bid, gee, I can't understand why anyone would be leery of the stock. Those of you who dumped at the ask to be sure you got the sell have only yourselves to thank for the slow response.
If instead of worrying, you either stay firm, or recognize the opportunity to buy more, then with the next pr you will see a big jump. If you want the stock to keep struggling, keep selling at the bid.
We almost made it and then someone whacked it.
Amazing. Someday they will run out of stock.
Yes, they are legit. Can they do anything to please you? The amazing thing is this was the top story for Yahoo financial yesterday afternoon. Those of you selling in to the rise may want to reconsider. The recommendation as the best place to be in the market right now....energy stocks. The best performing section, energy stocks. IAHL may still have a year or even two before they make an exchange, maybe only 6 months, it doesn't matter. In 6-12 months the stock will become an income producing entity if they aren't already due to licensing, etc. Over the next 2-4 years as they finish construction, and the plants come on line this stock will be worth easily $3-10. Can't wait that long, then don't, sell out cheap now, you will find buyers over the next 2-4 months I would bet as the company ramps up construction and contacting. Just don't expect to ever get back in for under $1.
Just don't understand. 30,000 shares at 58 cents, yet they could have gotten 60 or even 65 by just
pulling their sells and waiting. But alas, greed will overcome wisdom every day of the week.
As it starts to move, I wonder if people are going tom try to kill the move upwards
or help it?
Looks like a pretty positive news flash to me. Unless I misread they had sold out unit 1?
I know they have not been the rabbit we all hoped for, but they have definitely at least been
the tortoise heading to the finish line, unchallenged. I become more optimistic.
Sorry, this is what happens when people deliberately drive the price down. When sellers sell, buyers drop their bid. Ot os that simple. I too would like to blame corporate, but I saw what happened when I said I had a friend getting ready to buy. Some sellers DROPPED their ask. If they had been smart, everyone would have frozen up and raised their ask. But the goal of someone is to keep the price low as long as they can. To claim no news is out there is ludicrous. They bought a company, found a gas site, proved it, found a contractor, and obtained financing, and have contracts to sell gas. And in the meantime every other fossil fuel except natural gas is being banned. The price should be $1-2 right now, the only reason it isn't is bidwhackers and breeder individuals who are afraid they won't sell their shares who deliberately undercut each other and drive the price down. So quit your whining. Sell your shares if you are unhappy, and get out of the stock.
I have a hobby, reloading and target shooting. It calms me.
I have a few hundred thousand shares so I am hoping for that $2-3 range that makes me
a millionaire. Although if we leave the Democrats in power too much longer the taxes will mean I need $20 a share just to keep a million after their greedy hands get on it.
I will bet they come out with news faster than 3 months or even 2 months this time.
What we in our impatient for profits world forget is that they are essentially a South American company, things can move slow. Is that an excuse, yes and no. I think that they have dropped the ball in keeping us informed, but I have watched other companies that have gone years with no news. Of course it is news or earnings that drive price. So, if the corporate suits want the price to rise, they have to keep us informed, I agree. If they want to be sure that the news is always accurate, it may take longer for the news. But bitching and moaning won't speed it up, I know, I tried it. If you aren't happy with the growth of stock price so far, sell out and move on. Go buy NXT-ID, the makers of Wocket, they are at $5 a share and have a $100 potential, but they will take 10 years to get there.
I knew you guys couldn't resist. Rather than sit tight and let them come to you, you tried to jump ahead of the guy in front of you and drop your ask to below the next guy. That's how we sink down to new lows, not rise to new highs. Actually my buyer isn't buying for a while now, just wanted to see what everyone would do. You showed me, greed trumps any wisdom.
