I don't believe the official share structure will be changed, just the functional one, meaning, if the shares are bought back, they will not become restricted shares, thus the official float will remain unchanged, but funtionally, it will be smaller as long as the company doesn't sell its shares, but that's actually the case for everyone that doesn't sell. Point is, you can't look at the float itself as an indication of whether the buyback is occurring or not unless the bought shares were to become restricted.
yeah, and funny how supposedly that 'one sell transaction' was a short. Totally misconstruing everything to fit into the desired reality.
so is this thing completely done now? it seems there are no qoutes being listed by a market maker
yes, you're right, it could still happen, but it's more of a concern of whether or not it should happen, and if a stock is behaving as it should, if it is, then it's a good stock; remember I'm just referring to price behvior at this moment, not company value; that's a whole other conversation.
I was expecting to be in the .30-.50 range, minimum, after the Orphan Drug announcement. I stuck around because of the plant and the potential operational benefits to be gained from it.
Great, thanks
Market Makers often have to go short when there is no actual selling party at the Ask they are posting on pink sheets/bb stocks; it's their function and duty as market makers to do that since that's what facilitates a market, being that they are market makers. In another words, when you buy stock at the ask, you are actually buying it from a market maker, everytime, If you don't know this, then you are ignorant (sorry, but it's true). Market makers post the orders of other parties wishing to sell their stock. If there are not any parties wishing to sell, the market maker must use its own shares to fill buy orders from parties buying at the ask. If they themselves do not have enough shares in their inventory to fill the order, they must short shares to fulfill the order, which they are OBLIGATED to do because they are market makers.
and now we have our super super 'knowledgable' people here who complain about shorters when they themselves are the ones who are forcing shares to be shorted by market makers when there is not a party wishing to sell at the moment.
Believe it or not, this stock is illiquid. If you don't understand the actual meaning of the term liquidity and how to applies to stocks, then go look it up, because I've seen it used inappropriately several times on this board. It refers to the number of participants involved in the day-to-day trading of a individual stock/shares traded of an individual stock. Yes, OTOW trades millions of shares, but that's because the price-per-share is so low. If the liquidity in this stock was higher, than it would take many more shares to move the price incrementally.
if people here actually took the time to learn how the back office operations of markets function, there would be less conspiracy remarks of shorters because those remarks are based on ignorance.
I hope this post is appreciated because this type of information is only gained from either years of experience, books that tend to be difficult to read, in a class that isn't free, or from actually being involved in the industry professionally (which judging from the posts here in general, this isn't the case; sorry but it's true).
Communication through private mail?
oh my gosh, that violates Regulation Fair Disclosure and is illegal!

Oh no, maybe the receptionist misheard you and put Sal on the phone and Sal has his own ideas! Office Politics!
Maybe there are two Val's working there and you were talking to the wrong one?
alright, lets see something happen so there's something more interesting to post besides what Level 2 is showing.
it says on the financials itself that it's unaudited.
Good news for the Hempel's!

Posting encase it was missed before.
I would be interested in seeing the videos as well.
otow investors
Great!
good, laugh, that's the point of poking fun at someone. otow run up? sounds good to me!
Thank you for liking my posts. I like them too. Me sounding more creditable to others? If others can think critically and not just hope and pray for the best, I do not have to try.
The original form was poking fun at another poster who posts unintellegently about how great the company is, and refers to anyone who is more cautious about their money as 'evil'
Most people on this form are not making posts about new info, but instead their hopes and dreams, and what level 2 is showing.
which one are you betting that is 'it'? you laid out two scenarios. If it's effortless to poke fun at others or the company, then that means it's easy. If it's easy, then that should be a warning for your expectations of the future for the company.
very good points. I would love for someone to post their experience at physically visiting the company.
OTOW has $10,991,146 in Goodwill! Yippie! Let's crunch the numbers to see how that number came about. Can be found on page 8, section 3. Pay special attention on how OTOW's comman shares were valued at .02 on that report.
pay special attention to the Goodwill section on Page 8, Section C. When the two parties' stocks were exchanged, they valued OTOW's comman stock at .02, and .02 is being used to value the Goodwil at $10,991,146, now the comman stock's in the .003's, interesting... hmm....

thanks
Definately word is getting around about how great OTOW is; that is, on this board!
yeah, you all bad, bad, naughty, naughty, bashers! We all know that if you say something other than nice, nice, goody, goody stuff about OTOW, than that must mean you are a basher and a bad, bad, naughty, naughty, theiving, stealing, no good, lieing, bad man! It has been decided that if you say no good somethings about OTOW, than that must mean you are a bad bad carpet bagger!
all you naked short sellers, we got dem' new manfangled gizmos x-ray machines they now be usin' at the areoplane stations that allow us to see right through your naked short sellin' ways!
otow went up a full three one thousandths of a penny! looks like those blasted evil shorters have rescinded back to 'H' 'E' double hockey sticks!
it's a holiday weekend, so traditionally the markets are light at this time, but actually that applies to markets where funds are participants, not pinks/ob's
Orange is a potential customer, not a threat to bash on.
sure, can you?
Oh, it should be pointed out that Orange (which is a unit of France Telecom) has been in the Dominican Republic for some time, and is the fifth largest telecom company in the world; just wanted to add a little context to the board's discussion about wireless opportunities in the Dominican Republic. Don't believe it; go make a Dominican friend. None around you; move to NYC.
healthy price movement today so far.
I get the feeling otow is a one man army, so perhaps val doesn't have time for a side business.
8-K Released!
I always wonder about these types of moves. so little volume. What is the purpose behind them? I don't see why anyone would trade just $70 worth of stock...
yes, thank you
okay, just tell Stratten it would have been more considerate to let the shareholders know about this when it was determined.
yeah, lets see it stick
there are NASDAQ issues trading less volume than we have here, so if OTOW can get to that exchange, I feel it can stick there. Therefore something material (including financial statements) needs to exist, and solid gains need to be achieved and held.
yeah, but parabolic moves tend to go down just as quickly as they go up. Better to see consistant gains instead of one big up down and then all the following days be down, which is too typical of pinks and ob.'s
oh yeah, from who?
