We have already broken the psychological barrier of .02 this morning. Once we get through this consolidation phase, we will start building towards and most likely reach .025 as we approach and get into power hour.
Deja Vu All Over Again!
Does anybody else find the last three paragraphs of this 2008 Medinah Shareholder Update in Bloomberg News to be eerily similar to that which we heard throughout most of 2011 as well as what we are hearing today?
Like a good mystery story, this stock keeps me going back and forth as to whether or not I think it could potentially be a great investment or a total scam. What does or doesn't happen in the next week or so should be quite illuminating.
You are dead on with your assessment. Somebody is doing their level best to prop this stock up with those 125 share buys at the ask. They must have upgraded their E*Trade account and got 60 free trades. Who else would spend $9.95 to buy $17.00 worth of stock?
I have been in and out of this stock numerous times over the last three years. It is definitely an interesting stock to watch and keep tabs on. I am kicking myself for not getting back in last month when it was at .07. At that time, I was looking for an entry point just above .06.
Past performance of this stock has consistently shown me and made me weary of of any entry above the .10 to .12 range. I was hoping that last Saturday's meeting might reveal something definitive that would substantiate entry at present levels. Unfortunately without a signed deal, money changing hands, or exact dates regarding future developments, nothing concrete or verifiable has been revealed.
Another couple of lines that caught my eye from the notes from Saturday's meeting are the following:
What are the next steps after the final signature is done? Theres not anything else to be done. We're telling you its done. It's done.
Is there anything preventing the company from releasing some of the due diligence has been done? They will share a lot more in the near future when they are certain it will not affect the deal.
In one line, he is saying the deal is done. However from what I can discern from his very next answer, he is saying that they don't want to say anything that might prevent the deal from going through.
Which is it?
A material event has occurred. It will come!
I think the actual symbol change has thrown QSGI off of many investors radars. QSGIQ has vanished off many watch lists. We aren't even on Buzz Cloud right now because QSGI only has a little over an hour of history.
I think it is just a matter of time before people come to realize that QSGI actually has emerged from bankruptcy.
Nice 25K buy at the ask!
Nice ask! Why don't they just wrap their shares up and tie them with a bow and give them away.
I truly enjoy reading your posts. They are very well thought out and I can only assume they reflect a well grounded approach to life in general. Happy trading!
If you look at the PR from June 20th, Mark Sherman explained, "We are pleased to announce this first step towards the renewed QSGI which is set to emerge from bankruptcy as early as July 8th, 2011..."
For someone who claims to only rely on court documents and press releases for the basis of your statements, you claiming that QSGI could have dropped the Q already doesn't seem to ring true. I am not sure what hole you pulled that information out of, but something doesn't smell right!
It is 11:30 PM on the west coast and the ask currently showing for QSGIQ on Ihub is .58. That looks real good to me so I think I will knock off for the night. GLTA!
3 seconds too late. Nice effort though. Their efforts will be futile soon enough.
Someone just bought 50,000 shares at the ask. NICE!
I am with you!
Looking at L2 for the last half of the day, you can see that people are willing to come to the asking price. Yet we have these losers on the ask side who are willing to kill a potential run by trying to come in with the lowest asking price.
Make them come to you, and they will come.
Does anyone else think it is strange that almost 35,000 shares went through as buys at the ask of .235 but they never showed up on the bid side?
Seems as if the MMs are trying to hide the true bid and keep it artificially low.
Nice 32K buy!
Agreed! I have been away for the last few hours, and it definitely seems that the buying has started to pick up in the last hour looking at L2.
If people want to get more than a few thousand shares, they are going to have to pay a bit more.
L2 looks very thin to .27.
Same here, on all points! GLTA as well.
Speaking of the hazards of jumping around from stock to stock, that guy who posted here just after the opening bell that he sold his position in QSGIQ to get into POT* with the hopes of buying back in tomorrow with his profits. Well, that stock opened with a gap up this morning but it finished the day down 15%. He would have had to have done some pretty fancy trading to come out ahead on that one today.
QSGIQ has constantly shown it strength and resiliency in spite of the lengthy bankruptcy process and those who have done their best to drive the PPS lower. In spite of all that, QSGIQ has held strong. There can only be one reason for that, and we longs know what that is. QSGI's brightest days are still ahead of us!
Very thin to the higher .20's.
It may take a while for people to realize that we just had some nice news. I have been away myself for the last couple hours and I was pleasantly surprised when I returned. EOD should be interesting!
I was just going to say that L2 is set up nicely for a run above and beyond yesterday's close.
Yesterday's bidwacker forgot to take into consideration that his actions set us up for a daily gain of just under 28%. Not too shabby!
Way to go guys!
Yes, QSGIQ is very strong. It is just a matter of time. The clock is ticking.
It probably really toasts their nuts that we still closed green!
All in all, today has been a much better day than Friday's fear induced crash. QSGIQ demonstrates tremendous strength and resiliency.
Nothing can halt the inevitable approach of July 8th, and obviously there are many people that want to be a part of the events that will be surrounding that date.
It is frustrating watching these people jockey for position to get the lowest ask when for almost the entire day the people have been coming to the ask. If you hold strong, they will come to you.
Slowly but surely bid support is building. It needs to get just a bit stronger though before she really moves.
Someone seems bound and determined to hold this stock down for whatever reasons. Let QSGIQ run. Let her run!
Very thin to .24. A little buying pressure and we will be there.
Those were some nice buys at the ask!
The new SEC rule says that they are supposed to show the total number of shares they have for sale at the ask. But somehow magically with ETMM, every time someone buys 5,000 or more shares, someone puts another 5,000 or more shares up for sale.
Well, another 11,000 shares went through at the ask and ETMM is still showing 5,000 on the ask. What BS.
Good going!
Watching L2, your 5000+ share buy should have cleared out ETMM on the ask and brought us up to .19, but curiously it did not.
Nice steady buying so far this morning. Lets get this back into the .20s.
All I know is that I have read almost every post on this board since before Christmas. All of the sudden, two weeks before QSGIQ is going to finally emerge from bankruptcy, we now have a barrage of negative posters putting hours of time and effort into posting on a stock board to which they claim is extremely overvalued and that any wise investor should sell out or steer clear of.
It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that these guys are not Mother Teresa using anonymous Ihub names.
I read every post on this board because I have thousands of dollars invested here and I like to keep tabs on my money. I do not spend a good deal of time reading or posting on other random boards because I really have no stake in other random boards. And I would venture to claim that everyone posting on this board has a financial interest for being here, especially those that have miraculously shown up days before the most significant event in QSGIQ's history is about to occur.
I have been here for a long time and I plan on being here when QSGI is no longer QSGIQ!
"Eating government cheese!"
